I started watching your videos a bit after my mom got diagnosed with an a-typical meningioma (a type of slow growing brain cancer) and your vids really helped me stay happy for a while and now my mom has recovered but not fully but is still pretty healthy. Thanks for the videos dude, they rock! My favorite fingerboarding channel for sure. I have a question for ya - what type of griptape would you recommend and what brand? Sandpaper, foam, whatever else is available.... I used to fingerboard a lot back in the day (OG TechDeck days lol) so I don’t know about any of the stuff available today. I just ordered a Prolific setup and I can’t wait till it arrives!

I have a tip, if your trying to take off grip tape and it’s a pain take a hairdryer and use it on the deck for about a minute then the grip tape comes off really easily:)

3:34 I usually call that kind of grip tape stippy, it's like it's slippery and not very good sticking if you pull straight up on it but if you like pull it off at an angle it's really grippy (sticky: st)(ippy: gr) also try either a heat gun to get the adhesive off or a blow dryer on heat

You should have painted it white and "Hydro Dipped" it.
I have a real Deck that I Hydro dipped and then slapped some clear grip on. It's super cool looking. And I'm surprised it isn't more of a thing in the Skateboard Scene. Every single deck is different and unique, even more when HD'd.

U could also just switch the paint nozzle with the other can and spray it a lil so the other paint comes off
The teak wheels have greased sealed bearing so that they were really smooth

Lol you should see mine one of the little pins in the trucks has literally fallen out and I use super glue to keep it in and I’ve also dug a small crater in the tale that goes to the second ply
