I got caught in Jay Shine's light when I met him in the crowd at Lightning in a Bottle last year. It doesn't surprise me in the least that he is behind this beautiful and inspiring TEDx talk. Exactly what I needed to be reminded of right now. Thanks for sharing Jaymin!

This is a powerful message that I've always understood within myself, without ever putting it into words. The most brilliant innovators are the ones who have done their own thing, pushed past the fear of being different to speak or represent their truth, which in turn inspires others to do the same. I am so thankful to have this video to share this message with other people! Especially my 18 year old niece. I have always told her to let her freak flag fly... but this explains the why so beautifully. Thank you! More people need to hear this.

Such a powerful reminder to be YOU. You can't influence the world by assimilating and trying to be just like it. Thanks for showing us how to lead from the heart, Jaymin!

The one up game is true for masculinity to show dominance, I can attest! Being aware of our actions and allowing ourselves to be vulnerable, leaving room for equality. Being your true and authentic self is the key to success and individuality in a world where people change themselves to “fit in”. Love this!

Being courageous enough to be vulnerable, is what we all need to try👍

  • @chrischros3192

I‘ve never thought about it like that. And now all the weird situations are making sense. But on the other hand I‘m thinking that I am too normal. Can I forget how to be weird by forcing myself to live „normally“? And how can I get over it?

Yt people would never look “inspired”… they just mentally take notes 😂

I want to help the world and save it not gust bank on going to a new plantet or say the next generation will fix it what if we all do this we won’t go anywhere we will all be procrastinators which if my grades have to show for it won’t help us if we’re going to save the world we need to stand now but I don’t know how to do this without doing it to be famous so I’m making a Mr.Anonymous account hoping to inspire people to do better to better them selves and everyone around them but I’m stuck stuck with fear uncertainty and lack of confidence and I need help so thank you for the video. I couldn’t quite get the words I wanted to say out but I hope this will suffice

I found this talk disappointing. It missed the mark for the topic. Like other "motivators", he spent half the talk advertising himself. I came here to learn how to inspire others not for my own personal gain but for theirs. The use of a phrase like "relationship capital" is a warning flag that this person uses others as tools to achieve his own goals. He doesn't have friends. He has connections.
