I like Dana on several levels. He couldn't be bought during Covid, he allows the people making him money to say what they want no matter who it's about and thus far he can't be bought. Not selling out and allowing those that work for him to speak their minds is what truly makes him a great man. I wish I could say the same out our government which is far more important but I can't. It's people like him and Rogan that help this country even if you don't always agree with them that's fine but at least you still have a voice and they respect your decisions and rights. I remember a time when this was common day and I miss those times. I feel sorry for the children and teenagers growing up in today's world that have always had the internet and have no idea what privacy is and that's hard to explain that to them when they've never had it to miss.

I've seen one of Dana's strategies-he will bring his celebrity friends with him and bet when the count is good. Then when the count is bad he will sit out and let them finish out the shoe. These guys like the Nelk Boys or Adin Ross have no clue that Dana is doing this to them. The casino must see what he's doing but they seem to tolerate it since Dana will repay them by comping UFC VIP packages to their high rollers or bringing in high rollers to spend a bunch in the casino.

I've watched about 2 hours of Dana's playing and he doesn't play basic strategy. He plays with guts which is dangerous. The only thing that saves him is his unlimited marker he has. I counted cards from 1962 to 1966 I went to Harrahs at lake tahoe. At that time they were playing single deck.. If I was being interviewed I would say the same thing as Dana... Beating blackjack is very hard to do.. At the time people were working for 2 dollars an hour. We would take about 10 000 and later 30 000. But the only way to win and there is no sure thing is to very your bets.. The Casinos will kick you out if you do this... What I mean is bet say one chip on a fresh shufful and if 4-5- and 6 count cards come out on the first say go arounds then increase your bet Also just play like there are 2 decks no matter how many. So there would be 72 little cards aces are little and 32 10 count cards divide 32 into 72 and it would be 2.2 and this number lowers to 2 or less you would incrrease your bets This may only happen once out of 3 or 5 schuffles.. If you ever saw 18 face cards and 26 little cards you would bet 10 chips and then pray you get a twenty

That would be like selling lottery tickets but then you ban a guy that keeps winning. If it's legit there should be no reason to ban anyone. So if I lose every single hand that's perfectly fine but if I win every single hand that's bad? Back then you had a lot of $2 and $3 minimum bet tables. That is what you needed for my kind of bankroll. The $5 Mins I could not win at for some reason. Now, if you can find a $10 minimum table you're in Heaven! But you need a much larger bankroll to win. He's probably a good player who is able to bet wildly without fear of losing. Fear is the biggest killer in 21. As long as you know the basic strategy and can minimize other players' stupid playing mistakes, you can win (as I'm sure you may know).
I once saw a guy clean out 3 trays of chips at Buffalo Bill's, at the State Line in Vegas, while me and my buddy were counting cards at the same table. This dude was betting minimum $100 chips. We were winning but just small potatoes with minimum $20 bets. This guy would double down on his hands with 12 or higher several 16's, and win every time! And, with the dealer showing 10s!!! On one hand, he won $2k and started with only $100 bet! We could not figure out what his strategy was but he definitely had one. He sat at 3rd base, and he played mostly correct to the basic strategy. But when he dropped a $500 bet down, BOOM! He almost always won but not by gettjng 20s or Blackjacks. He's mostly managed to win. And after a while he was getting very upset at our astonishment to what he was doing by drawing attention to him. The pit boss rotated through 5 dealers and multiple packs of new cards. The dealers also had to get new trays of chips 3 times in less than a couple hours. To this day, we could never figure out what the hell kind of strategy he was using. But to us, it was like seeing a UFO with the Aliens up close and in our faces 👽. I was 27 at the time. I'm 57 now and it still pumps me up sharing that story. Hope it came across ok. If not, sorry for the long post.

Sometimes he will be at the casino for 2 minutes, put all the 500 on one hand, loses, then leaves, but if he wins. Sometimes, he lets it ride. Sometimes he let it ride 3 times. So 500 turned into 1000..then 1000 turned into 2000, then 2000 turned into 5000 because he hit black Jack. I constantly win 5 to six grand on 100-500 dollars all the time. I am willing to put a side bet I win more than Dana playing my way heads up against the casino. So now if you win 500 bucks on your 500 hundred you only won 5-10 hands more than the dealer I win 80 to 85 percent of my hands you lose to hands in a row you go to 3 hands till you lose mix it up go from 1 hand to 2. Back to one if your playing heads up you have to win 90 percent of your hands to make money back and fourth in the long run your gonna lose money. Dont get greedy that favors the house. If you win three hands in a row and you get a double down hand don’t double your gonna lose that’s how the house makes back it’s money. Just like if you win a double down and you have another double down don’t do it the house wants you to go 50% win instead of 75-100% win. So if you look at the first double down and you have bad cards you have to double down again. It’s like splitting aces most the time it’s a wash a 21 with a shit card on the other one why not keep them together and make 1 solid hand you went from a 50% winner to 100 percent.

If his strategy is just walking away when he’s up, he will lose over time if he keeps playing. Here's my semi professional take. Just left BlackHawk Colorado in a Indian reservation casino in Arizona now and heading to Vegas today. I likely log more hours than Dana. He made a comment in this video not hitting your 16 against a showing 10. Recently on this subject a guy said to me, obviously someone I'm watching hit his 15 amd 16 steady and busting out constantly and was losing. He says we'll it's 1 of every 3 hands he has a 10 showing that he has a 10 below. And I said what about the other 2 of 3 times it isn't. Silence. That's just it, how many times are you dealt a 10 on the first card and as you eagerly await and hope a second 10 and a nearly made hand , how many times does it not arrive a second 10. Often. Much more often than a made 10/10 hand. That is exactly the mythical book and way the casino wants you to play and way many many sheep play. If you're playing the way the casino wants you to play you're losing! #1 rule for me in blackjack don't do the houses job and bust yourself out. Before the casino has ever turned over their hand and or made a winning hand you've already eliminated yourself and busted yourself out. The house did their job because you did it for them by busting yourself out. Can you win with a 23 hitting that 16. No but I sure can win with my 14 or 15 and watch the dealer bust out. Second rule don't invest more in a bad hand. What's a bad hand AA against a 10 3/3 another bad hand...just play it out instead chasing a split hope and prayer. Watch the cards if you're playing last seat and the 2 players before you just pulled a 10 and then another there is a better percentage in your favor that the next card is not a third consecutive face card so I'd feel a likely more good about hitting a 14 or 15. Lastly if you are hitting a 16 what is your landing runway. A 2 improves your hand very little. A 3 marginly better to 19. So really your true runway to land that hit on 16 is a 5, 4 , 3 and not very valuable 2.....your landing zone to bust is much greater 6, 7, 8 ,9 and all those 10s. That is frankly elementary logic from a gambler and those that think hit 16 is frankly just a sucker playing to the house.
