That's gorgeous! I was concerned about the cream cheese being too heavy and preventing the bottom pastry layer from baking well, but it seems to have turned out great.

Thanks for creating this video, Charlie!! I prepped a couple batches of rough puff pastry last week and froze it - I think it is time to thaw a batch! I have to hand it to you, you make it look seamless. I will take your advice and apply the cream cheese and the jam on the bottom layer of pastry. I might even make a second one using a homemade almond paste filling and decorate with toasted blanched sliced almonds. 😍 Charlie is now at 237K subscribers YAY! Looks amazing! I've seen this before using store-bought pizza dough and spinach-artichoke dip. The roughpuff pastry makes a better, and I'm sure more delicious, presentation.
