I'm still flabbergasted every time I listened to this amazing series. These stories are something that I wish happened in the actual books. These are well done and it goes to show that even this generation can still find classics within the newest types of content made. Well done you guys, well bloody done. The music is something out of an orchestra, the scripting is something like no other, and this entire feel to it. This really shows anyone anywhere that even then, they can make these types of amazing stories, when they put in the time that you all do. Again, thank you for all of this amazing content, and let there be many more like this within the future!
Thank you so much. This was such a fun project to do and I couldn't have done it without the help of people across the community. Thank you so much for watching!
you prolly dont care but does any of you know of a trick to get back into an Instagram account..? I stupidly lost the password. I would love any tricks you can offer me
@Tristan John thanks so much for your reply. I found the site thru google and im trying it out now. Looks like it's gonna take a while so I will get back to you later with my results.
Fans: we love Edward. He's such a kind, and gentle engine. He's helpful, always there to cheer everyone up, and very wise in his travels. Mattel: what's an Edward?
My friend, your work is better than like half the model series lol. Whether it’s small short one off’s, or like one of Holy Grail of Thomas fan project-I mean ‘Edward’s Branchline,’ it me amazing. Whenever I feel down or I’m having a bad day, I put on this collection, because my Gosh they sound like an actual Story Awdry would’ve written. I am proud to be a subscriber to you, and I wish you nothing but the best! Amazing job!
What an absolutely charming saga! Really makes you appreciate the wonderful characters that Wilbert Awdry created! You did a fantastic job as always Aiden and I can't wait to see what's to come! :)
That ending was so sweet and cleverly made, all the main characters we've come to love even more these last few stories are all there for each other, as good friends should. Congratulations on this outstanding conclusion!
After Brad shows off a new trick in the yard the other engines try to trip him up. This video took well over a year to complete, and would not have been possible without the help
This saga was splendid! Music, narration, angles of shots, and even the title placements are superb! Very, very, well done! Also, the choice of Galaxy 2 music was great-
Beautiful book-ending to an ingenious adaptation. Content produced by fans, adapted by fans in the purest light. Well done all concerned for pulling this off, and hats off to more from the Extended Railway Series being brought to visual life in such a respectful manner. If I were making Trainz videos and not slumping with a backlog of creative ambition so much, then this is very much the quality I would aim for; you never know, next year I will if I hold faith to my vision. Kudos to all. Samuel F.
that face at 5:25...that's the face from "Edward's Exploit" in the RWS, when Edward's crank pin broke and smashed up his frames! Well done indeed. this has been a delightful ride, and i'm very impressed with everyone's hard work. and that tease at the end, HOOOOO boy, tingles, nostalgic tingles.
I love the use of Mario Galaxy 2 music, fits so well! I look forward to seeing more of your videos, everyone did an amazing job. Ryan’s narration is beautiful, as well as your filming and effects!
This was the best story yet, I love this book. You did edwards branch line beautifully, but that ending with that atmosphere. The North Wester Railway’s expansion period,*pause for dramatic effect* is about to begin.
*Insert Twitch PogChamp emote here* Oh you put the ambient music for the Starship Mario from Super Mario Galaxy 2 in as the opening! Thanks for for bringing back lots of fantastic memories of playing both Galaxy games on my Wii. Good on ya mate. Good on ya.
Hey man, this is a very lovely story adaptation. I really love the scenery, and the music choices for all scenes. One of the best directing works I've ever seen so far. I especially love Edward rocketing underneath the fallen tree. I can't wait for the next stories! Well done! :)
Sodor Castle! After watching tardisrescue’s videos I wondered who Castle was and what was his backstory, and what happened to Gordon. I couldn’t find anything about him on the ERS website so it will be nice to see it at last !
It was cleaver of you to put in Mario Music, especially with the new Nintendo HD Anniversary recently announced. It also works in context too, it truly sounds like music for Edward.
I'm looking forward to the story 'Old King Coal' where a rude coal truck gets ripped apart, but I enjoyed this too. Lucky Edward was pulling coaches rather than trucks, for the latter might've tried to hold him back.
You Did an outstanding job with this 4-part ERS Book, I love the Music you use in your videos, a very movie theater feel, I can smell the red wine and popcorn already. The big Question is where next, are you thinking of ever writing original stories again, Engines & Coaches alike certainly was a CLASSIC, the best thing about this is the fact Carson has posted two, great way to start the weekend. I really think you are an inspiration to all The End & I mean the END END’s music was so suspenseful, you made it feel like a movie, I’m really hyped even though I know it will take forever to start Express Engines, spoilers for those who didn’t know, I have admit, I’m not surprised you chose this one, it’s going to be great I just know it
Excellent series. My only question is what happened to Shane? Seeing as he was in the thumbnail I was kind of expecting him to appear and try and get revenge on BoCo for crashing into him. Still thrilling though. Looking forward to Sodor Castle.
Unfortunately in the ERS Books, Shane was a one and done story character, he hasn't been featured again to my knowledge. Think he was repaired and sent home again afterwards.
Edward should be the railway's mascot; since the events of Thomas and his Friends he's semi retired and no longer a banking engine since the events of Edward's Exploit. Now he works tourist trains and could visit the Lakeside railway in Cumbria now that Direct Rail Services works the goods trains to/from the mainland...
Woah that teaser at the end with the arrival of a mysterious new engine who all we know about is 1. He or she is a Great Western engine by the lettering on the tender and green paint 2. The engine is known as "Sodor Castle" 3. The engine may have once lived and worked on Sodor in the past but went away to the mainland (Most Likely sold to the Great Western) and is now returning to Sodor for the first time in many years.

This will likely get lost in the sea of comments but if anyone else is trying to find out the end credits music its called Auriels Awakening from the Oblivion game
My headphones stopped working when I was watching this and I couldn’t hear any narration I watched the entire episode thinking it was just an odd instrumental story
@@rhydyronen It was actually rlly funny just watching BoCo, Trevor and Terence stare sadly at each other for 2 minutes like "oh shoot I think I left the stove on at Wellsworth"

"Edward's old, but he'll surprise us all."
BoCo's words continue to ring true to this day.
This would’ve been Edward’s best finale of the series imo
Fans: we love Edward. He's such a kind, and gentle engine. He's helpful, always there to cheer everyone up, and very wise in his travels.
Mattel: what's an Edward?
Nice little reference to "Edward's Exploit".
What a thrilling finale that was! Next book should be just as riveting!
DarthWill3 if there is one
Edit: scratch that
That was outstanding. Hope to see more ERWS adaptations in the future.
Why are you and Carson08 so great at this?
Such incredible work, you've provided my Thomas fix that the show has somewhat failed to do now!

I loved playing that game when i was younger!
That OST is so nostalgic.
that galaxy music made me so happy you have no idea lol
your directing has done these stories wonders, well done!
One of the bravest Edward scenes

Words cannot describe how beautiful the whole saga was. Truly a job well done. And that ending scene... I was so hyped!
Imagine if the Extended Railway Series stories were in CGI style videos.
Absolutely brilliant. Well done 👍🏻👍🏻

Absolutely beautiful and brilliantly done!
For his age. He's a exceptional engine!
What a perfect way to end a good range of stories.
This was a great finale! Loved the use of Super Mario Galaxy music!
That climax was very exciting!
What a nice ending to a Edward's Branchline.
This was amazing! I love the soundtrack from Mario here, both from the games and the movie! Keep up the excellent work!
Great work, I love these stories.
All the post-credits scene needed was a card statement: the ERS will return.
That was the idea with the whole post credits scene existing ;P7
@True Master EX The Extended Railway Series is the fan fiction created by members of the Sodor Island Forum. Over 300 volumes and counting!
@@rhydyronen Can't wait to see more adaptations. Which is the book about Sodor Castle which you are probably doing next?
'Tis called Express Engines :)
@@rhydyronen Ahhh. I first saw Sodor Castle in The Gravy Train by Daniel Long. Another great vid. I wonder who will narrate Express Engines.
Just the other day, I was thinking about how well Super Mario Galaxy music would work with TTTE, and this is perfect proof!
Quality work indeed! No place like Home I felt was heartwarming. Great referencing to previous episodes!
This was amazing animation! The trees, the chains, all great! Can't wait to see more of your talent!

glad you put subtitle here and the former part of this ERS. hope you could do it on future videos. that was helpfull. great job btw. keep it up

Awesome story! I'm looking forward to the next one!
An absolute stunning video and story. But massive respect for use a music cue from the Bob Hoskins Super Mario Bros movie, I love that film.
The soundtrack for this one was heavily based on viddy game tracks and all thing related

Shane does appear in the ERS again but it's about 100 books until he does! ERS #142 - The Mid Sodor Rally is his next appearance in the series.
