@@davidlee5547 I did not do any measuring before and after the install but I don’t believe there is any lift gain, maybe I can get DRT to chime in on that question
I’m looking at the Dirt King shackle kit along with the D.R.T kit like you installed. With the Dirt King, middle brace you can still fit your spare tire. A oversized spare tire actually fits does the D.R.T kit also fit the spare since you added the brace?
@@goforbroke2 I have not tried to put the spare back up after I installed the cross bar, with it taking up so much room I assumed it will no longer fit
@@FortuneTacoAZ Yeah that’s why I’m leaning toward getting the Dirt King kit. It’s also cheaper -$150 and the quality material and welds still look great IMO.
This is one of the mods I always wanted to do!! I will come back when I do because this is super helpful!
@@2021tacoma_lt I hope this or the article can help with your install!
Thanks for the video. How much extra lift did you get when you installed the shackle kit?

@@davidlee5547 I just talked to DRT and they said this kit will give zero lift to your suspension

@goforbroke2 if keeping a spare tire in the factory spot is a priority for you that makes sense.
