harleys have a look and sound that is unique and desirerable. I have driven many harleys and metrics, but only owned metrics ( currently a vstar classic 1100) since I cannot top the quality and price of metrics. I like harleys also, so I finally settled on my current 'biike attitude', which is,,,these bikes are 'different' and yet both are great motorcycles. Ferd
Those cobras sound really sweet as bud , when I brought my Vstar 1100 I asked for cobras , and stupid Honda installed Vance and Hines instead :( which sound like a dying kangaroo lol
Hi, I have the 2008 1100 custom and I had the dealership install my cobra speedster slashdown pipes at the same time that they installed my pro-r hypercharger and they re jetted it. Im not sure about it you have to re jett it when you just put pipes alone on this bike, but I had to when I put my stuff on. the only thing is thought that now when Im in the throttle and i let out, it has a slight popping to it because it is loading up the carb.

Nice bike... I just picked up an 07 V-Star 1100 Silverado. I like the sound. Where'd you get the pipes? Local or net? Price? Stocks are waaaaaay too tame.
nice bike! your vid convinced me to go with the Cobra speedsters. I went with the longs though. Check out my vid response - vid quality sux but it was done for the audio. I like the extra chrome you have as well.
