What a beautiful country! And the food is the best! I'm lucky enough to have a few Greek restaurants near me in Austin, TX. I visit them as often as I can.

Lia... I can't tell you how happy I am for you. It's so wonderful that you can do this for your family and friends could not make the wedding. It also made me well up a little bit when you talked about having a couple drinks and welling up. It's nice to realize how happy and how lucky one is. Good for you. And I have to say, that view! Swimming is a big work out. So don't worry about not working out 🙂. The water looks beautiful, but for me the sound of the waves is horrible. I lived in California for about 4 months right by the ocean, it drove me crazy hearing the waves. I had to have the tv on all day and the radio on all night to help drown out the sound. My son loves the ocean, the sun, and the sand, I hate them all😄
💛💛 you and absolutely loved Crete when I got to visit for a week back in 96-97! Enjoy your wedding - again!! 😜

The view is stunning. Relaxing and fun is the key. Be careful wearing your engagement ring (if you do) in the water, I had a friend lose hers because the cool water made her hands shrink and it came off... Enjoy and congrats on wedding part 2.

Just in time for the wedding--it always seems to happen that way. My aunt got married years ago and a few days before the wedding, developed a MASSIVE cold sore (no way to even try to hide it). She was devastated, but the day before the wedding, it cleared up. You look so relaxed and radiant. Best of luck to you and Atch on the big day! Beautiful island and beautiful woman 🙂 On the island of Crete, did you run into Idomeneus? He was once the king of the Island, in Greek mythology, and led many of the ships in the Trojan War (according to ancient mythology). Alas, I don't speak any ancient Greek or ancient Latin...I have failed as a self-educated man lol.🙂 Do the British also say "it's all Greek to me" regarding complex subjects with which they are unfamiliar? lol 🙂 I have to see if there any cruise ships that cruise the Greek archipelago that are not Flag of Convenience.....ah, I found one, Holland America. It shall go on my list for the future. 🙂
