Really surprised there wasn't an encore.
I repectfully don't understand u saying the Victory Tour was underrated and wish they would have gotten more attention. It was the most anticipated and covered on local and national news! The shows all sold out upon ticket release in every city. The Victory tours were all held in football stadiums seating 70,000 people, in which they performed 2 or 3 in EVERY city the tour came. My dad was friends with Don king one of the promoters. So my day had thousands of tickets. U had to buy 4 at a time for like 400 bucks. MJ didnt like that and later had it changed donated all his earning from the tour to charity. Which also was shown at a press conference in Chicago and was talked about and parts shown on local and national TV! The concert was incredible! The Bad tour was phenomenal too! But the Victory Tour was outside in 3D and the Magic was one of a kind! Babygirl it was the biggest comcert of its time! NOTHING was underrated about it. I TOTALLY don't understand what u mean. MJ was the biggest STAR LIKE WE NEVER SEEN BEFORE!! MICHAEL MANIA WAS IN FULL SWING AND I HAVEN'T SEEN NOTHING LIKE IT SENSE!! NOBODY CAN COMPARE TO MJ THESE KIDS HAVE NO CLUE!! JUST WANTED U TO KNOW THE REAL DEAL WITH ALL LOVE AND REPECT!!😊🙏👍
@@armoniboss8950 I think when people talk about the Victory tour being underrated it is more of a is than a was. It is underrated now when people talk about the concerts, it and the older ones get overlooked.

Yes! I've always loved the Victory Tour. It is my favorite Jacksons and Michael Jackson tour. Especially Shake Your Body. The whole tour was amazing. It had everything you could ask for. It was a perfect blend of solo Michael Jackson with his signature style and the Jacksons as a group performing their hits from over the years. #ReleaseVictoryTourLA

Oh, yeah i went to The Victory Tour in april of 85', when the Jackson's came to L.A. The Jackson got all the way down, & Michael slayed!!! Originally, the Victory Tour was going to be called the Thriller Tour, but Mike wanted to incorporate his brothers, because his victory in music, was also their victory, A family Victory. I was ampted-up all that night, after the concert, was over, bust some M.J. moves, etc.🤗😀😄🙂
Hmm he actually never wanted anything to do with the Victory tour , due to Don King , the over pricing scandal , and King's statements . Also Joseph and the brothers , Joseph especially were wanting more money yet again. One of the brothers referred to Michael as an "arrogant little prick" after MJ suddenly announced at the final LA concert that that was going to be the final ever show. The brothers were hoping to have the show taken over to Europe . However imo it is Michael Jackson at his vocal finest live.

Also Don King was furious and said that "Michael needs to remember who he is " and that he is an N word which i will obviously not use on here. MJ even instructed John Branca to sue him at one point but it did not happen . It was very well publicised at the time.

@@nairfurtado3590 Nair Furtado again this was widely known at the time. in December 1984 at the last Victory concert in Dodger Stadium , MJ suddenly announced that there would be no more tours , he did this on stage during Shake your body down to the ground ( last song on setlist) . There is footage and you can see the shock on the brothers faces. There were plans to take the tour into Europe and Australia in 1985 , MJ had previously found out about this and he had had enough of Don King and the brothers greed and even during the tour there were tensions. A deal was going to be made by Paramount Pictures to actualy film one of the shows. All the brothers agreed to it apart from Michael so it did not happen. Also believe it or not ticket sales for this tour were low at many points . in Moonwalker novel MJ understandably is not negative but it was well known what was going on. But no it was not Bad era it was just after Thriller , however similar thing happened in BAD era with the Moonies from South Korea , the info is out there.

I love when they perform “Shake your Body “ live! My opinion it’s one of the best choreographed pieces! I call the move after the 2nd chorus “the Rainbow move”. Of course I would love to know what they call it. When they line up and point I nicknamed it the “Line” I love the stomp and shoveling the Funk!!

The first leg of the “Bad” tour is basically the “Victory” remastered since they needed to work in the new songs and choreography from the album. And the “Victory” tour was just domestic.
not even, the temps of the songs are a lot different, his adlibs are differnt, the songs arrangements are different, his energy was different,i can understand why you would say that tho

My dad lived in Toronto, Canada and went to this concert back in 1984 when he was 14 years old he sat somewhere in the third row he said it was the best concert he ever saw

Truth be told Michael actually hated being on the Victory Tour and couldn’t wait for it to be over and when the final show happened he announced that it’ll be the final time the Jacksons performance together and he was smiling and jumping around during the last show. His brothers looked shocked and didn’t know what was going on
