I saw the synthesized odor and knew I was supposed to use it, but I did not realize that you could give items to a pile like that. Even when I beat this on Xbox, I think I just ran around and got to the door. 8 frags and he dies.

The first playthrough I did this. The second I had Mission recover all the land mines. Had my character stealth and place each on behind the Rancor then chucked a grenade at it. It walked through every single one of them killing itself in the process.

I’ll remember his next time I play the game. I basically just threw a frag grenade and bolted towards the entrance. I did that a few times and it did the trick

There's a better way: keep throwing frag grenades and getting back so the Rancor forgets you. This way you get 750xp instead of 200xp 😅
