KidAnime20 Frame rate is better on the Xbox 360, I would say I don't care too much but if you play split screen it might be worse on the PS3 and I used to play it a lot with friends
At around 1:18 you see the shadows of the helicopter blades on the guy with the rpg for the 360 version but not the ps3 version. Guess its just a small mistake.

It doesn't take a very expensive PC to beat the consoles graphically or performance wise. There are, for instance, several $70-80 or less video cards on the market right now that tear up the GPU's in the x360 and PS3. Naturally there's more components to consider, but I'm just giving an example.
Graphics are a tiny bit sharper and the reflections are more detailed on the 360, but that comes with a cost of considerably more screen tearing than the PS3 version. Plus the PS3 version is now compatible with Move so you can experience RE5 just like RE4 Wii edition (which I loved). I have the game on both platforms but have decided to sell my 360 version and keep my PS3 version due to the Move compatibility and less screen tearing (which I found very annoying on the 360).
i meant in general and yes ps3 can do 1080p it comes up on my tv every time i turn my ps3 on and wen i turn on an xbox it says 720p so im right ur wrong deal with it
I see a few subtle differences, mainly with the shadows and brightness. THE PS3 seems brighter and the 360 seems Darker... but the sharpness of it seems the same to me... although I have both and love my PS3, I gotta go with 360... I think... ah, who cares, they're both good.

@mohammadjj It was ported the same way. PS3 & 360 look the same. Same port, same res, same settings. If anything, Xbox 360 looks better with shader model 3.5.

The PlayStation 3 looks more vibrant and has more Bass and tremble then the Xbox 360. Though Graphics wise, the Xbox seems more realistic tho unnoticeable. I would have to go with the PS3 :)

You guys do realize that it's not the system that drives the graphics. The graphics are on the actual game. So does PS3 have better graphics? No. Does the 360? Again, No. It all depends on the individual game. In my opinion, they both look similar, though the sound quality sounds a tid better on the PS3 version. Both systems are great. PS3 has tons of features, but the online gaming for the 360 blows it away.
Damn, 20 seconds in and Xbox has better detail for the Agitator Majini's eyes (less blur) whereas the PS3 in the cutscene has less blur in the scenery? I guess that's 50/50 there for cutscenes. Gameplay graphics are slightly better than the PS3. The environments on the PS3 however feel more "lifelike" than the 360 at the cost of detail. I guess that both versions are both good in their own right?
I hardly see a difference lol. I dont really care. I have a PS3 but I still think some games are way better (gfx/fps wise) on the xbox, its just a fact that sony made some mistakes with the PS3. Still I think PS3>Xbox in my experience with both of them. One reason to switch to the Xbox is probably the gamertag@controller option. If the PS4 doesnt have that i might consider buying the Xbox720! :P

All these comparison are pointless. They just have different coding for the machines to read them! The only difference is the 360 has more anti aliasing and is un-noticeably sharper, and has darker shadows. Its all preference to weather you like lighter or darker shadows. PS3 has a better CPU but the 360 has a better GPU. You need to compare games that use it's system, not multi platform that just has different coding.
Well.. The thing is your not using Ps3 to its full potential, if you are to use ps3 and 360 to their respected potentials, then ps3 will win easily. This game can be handled well graphics wise by both systems, so its not a very good comparison. Search up MAG, massive action game. This is coming out for the ps3, GIANT maps with 256 players on them, thats a game thats using Ps3's potential. Something that the 360 will never be able to handle, plain and simple.
@romacanada It is 720p native on the ps3, upscaling to 1080p has no effect on its native resolution, textures, quality or hardware performance - as far as I am aware the 360 version also supports 1080 upscale.
hehehe no difference except that the 360 version seems to be darker which kinda covers some of the washed out textures which could also translate to being better than the ps3 as the ps3 is brighter-more exposed washed out textures both are obliterated by the pc version though, judging from the newly released pc benchmark testing of the game....

i no dipshit what would be the point in having 8 cores for singe processes as i said one is unused do you even untick 720p and 1080i of the dispay settings to have full 180p all the time so your self should do some research. on the ps3 7 specialized SPE cores. One is used for the OS leaving 6 for the game application rendering 1 unused also ps3 has 2x 256 mb ram at 3.2ghz.. xbox 512mb of ram at 700mhz both share same amount os chache at 512mb
Your not even going to notice a difference unless you have 2 1080pi HDTVs side by side with the lights off, lol. Like most systems, I think it takes a few years for developers to find out how to use their full capability. So eventually the PS3 may outpower the 360, but by how much? Who knows.

Actually, the PS3 version is a little bit blurrier and a tad less colorful. You only notice these things if you compare them side-by-side.

Both look identical to me. I have the 360 version. But I must say, the PS3 controller is much more familiar to me. I also played the PS3 version.

No difference. The ps3 is darker which makes it a tad bit clearer but they look extremely identical. The ps3 runs more smooth though.
