Any company that asks you to remove a video instead of saying how can we make the product better or whatever, yah they need to go. Good on B&W for doing the right thing.
Yes, B&W is a total 180 from Lippert in my dealings.
The entire RV industry is corrupt after 20 years of RVing we sold our RV and are selling our truck and we are done. Lippert is a huge reason for this as they make or have a part in the products in most RV manufacturers. I should not have to warranty major components such as leaf springs and axles on a fifth wheel due to their poor quality control. Frames should not be cracking die to poor quality control.
You did the right thing. Your integrity is the key to subscribers. Keep it up.
Lippert is nothing more than a big conglomerate and they couldn’t care less about the consumer. And in my experience dealing with them they don’t stand behind their components either. Unfortunately they’ve bought out so many smaller companies that used to make great products and made them cheaper and charge more money.

A large RV parts supplier asking you to remove a UA-cam video speaks volumes as too your influence on the RV industry. You are humble, honest and straightforward type of guy and that scares them. Keep up the great work.

Unfortunately Lippert is used in some fashion in almost every RV. There seem to be no incentive for Lippert or RV manufactures to do better. Almost every long term RV review has some complaint about a Lippert product. It’s a sad reality of the RV Industry.

I have been frustrated with my Lippert auto-leveling system. But what frustrates me the most is that Lippert buys up all these other companies. I can't stand that they don't have competition. Competition is good for the consumer, and Lippert doesn't like it and buys up everything they see. I didn't even know Lippert owns Ranch Hand, I'll never buy that product now. I don't want Lippert to go away, I want other companies to compete with Lippert, forcing Lippert to have to innovate and become more competitive. I personally started to dislike Lippert because of a previous social media guy, "the Mustache." but it has just gone down hill from there.

Lippert owns Ranchhand too? I won't be going with that bumper for my 2023 F250, which i saw that video and became concerned because I would most likely end up in the same situation installing it myself. Don't blame you for dissolving the relationship with Lippert. Ethics stand for something.

Bought the B&W after seeing ALL your content on it and love it. So thanks! And good on B&W for action to work with you and not fight you. That spoke volumes for their company ethic as well.

They would use that 1/8th inch knife metal on airplanes too. They cheap out on their designs . If they only used Chrome Molly steel frame members from the basement to the pin box even with the same thickness and other dimensions their frames would hold up .As I always doI look up the biographies for the CEO and owner . And I will not comment further because it could be called antisemitism.

Perhaps if they spent more time making quality products instead of harassing reviewers, they wouldn't have to worry about negative reviews. My experience with Lippert's Tire LINC TPMS system was absolutely horrible. One of the worst products I've ever purchased for my RV. I even swapped it out under warranty and drove 2,800 miles with it and it maybe worked 10% of the time.
Hey Lippert, if you're reading these comments, get your poop in a group. I think you'll find that your customers will turn on you like a wrestler. Here's how it starts: a boycott of all manufacturers that use your frames. I have no problem buying Norco/Bal products.

It can be hard to hold to the truth when there's pressure to fudge it a little. But if you had bent on this, Cory, they would have owned you from then on. You made the right decision. No looking back.
I've been in business over 30 years with two companies and have done much the same, in the long run your better off. The corporate greed wheel never ceases to amaze me, as for the request to take down you honest review video is just a bit much but censorship is alive and well. Pat yourself on the back you deserve it.
Allow me to throw this out. I’ve had issues with my 2007 Monaco Dynasty. I bought a new step controller from Lippert and a new gear plate and motor from another provider. I rebuilt the steps and ended up with the same problem. I called the tech department at Lippert and spoke with them. They went above and beyond trying to help me with the issue. They sent me the manual for the steps and a new gear plate for free. The employees have always been great to me. Maybe their equipment sales suck but their parts department and tech people rock.
You just gained a new subscriber for the simple reason that I really appreciate your integrity. I may or may not end up agreeing with you about Lippert as I like to make up my own mind but I am very impressed that you are following your own moral compass and doing what you feel to be the right thing. Very impressed.

I've gotten the impression over time that cost savings takes priority over quality on many products from Lippert and their owned sub companies. Too bad.

We bought a new couch off amazon that were from lippert The boxes were trashed when they came sent first 3 back and the 2nd 3 were damaged too but delivery guy left them when I wasn’t home We returned them and got our money back. They were terrible like there frames. china junk.
2 weeks ago I installed Lippert's Road Armour Equalizer. To my surprise when I had to order the HD wet bolt kit, I found out that the kit was almost $300. (Now the kit has 8 HD shackles, 14 wet bolts and 14 nuts). It's a bag of nuts, bolts and shackles and the charge $290!) On top of that the shackles were out off tolerance. They did not seat properly. I reordered and got the same of quality. I ended up having to file out the holes so the shackles would slide on to the shackle assembly. Just amazed at the price... probably $10 of hardware. What a rip off. I appreciate you following your integrity compass.

@@WanderingWeekends yeah it’s not fair to include the entire industry in that statement but dang there’s sooo many cooked dealers excluding manufacturers warranty, not honoring extended warranty or packages they’ve sold for reasons like the seals weren’t maintained every 6 months, crooked manufacturers offering bribes and hush offers (not referring to one influencer with initials LA), and so on.
Bought glass patio door inserts from lippert for my toy hauler. Were broken when arrived due to ridiculous packaging. Explained to customer service issues with packaging and they were good about sending out replacement but packed the same with broken parts again. I was able to salvage enough from the two shipments to make it work with another shipment of connectors sent to me. Lippert customer support was very nice but packaging incompetence cost them. Maybe why their prices are so high. We do love our patio doors even though costly.
I'm not a fan of lippert only because of the poor quality products they use on RVs that have failed and sell. It would be interesting to see exactly how many influencers on social media actually took their 'honest' negative videos of products down at their request?
It is hard to say and even if I knew of such dealing I wouldn't say. That type of stuff is between the "influencer" and their followers. (I hate the title "influencer")
The same with the marine industry. Overpriced and many times underdelivered.
I am not likely to comment much on YT. But just thought I would give you a thumbs up. I found your channel when researching hitch options. Curt came with my gently used GD 3250 and I will use it for a while, but now looking at a Weigh Safe based on your reviews. I love their 360 hitch and have recommended it for years. I bought the metal table at Walmart (I think it's stamped coleman) got it on sale for $40. It's been great. It's a good size and hight. No way I'd pay lippert prices for one like it.
I bought the metal table when sams club clearanced it out last year for $25 roughly. Now I'm looking for the ranch hand video. I live in Texas in the country and I'm one of the few who doesn't have one on my truck. I'm interested in what you didn't like, I know of at least 8 instances where friends and relatives have hit deer and other hard obstacles with no damage. I've seen cheaper competitors bumpers pushed thru the grill.
Yes, love your video. Leopard sucks. They do not stand behind their product and they will not warranty their products thank goodness for grand design, stepping in and taking care of the matter.

I had only dealt with Lippert on an accessory 1 time. The GD trailer I bought in 2021 was prepped for Tire Linc. As you know at that time this was kinda new. I tried to purchase the parts to complete it (the repeater and tire monitoring caps). I was told they only come in the complete kit which includes the dock already installed in my trailer. I said no, I already have the dock reinstalled my GD so I’d like just the parts I need. Why do I have to pay for another dock? I got nowhere, zero help and was left having to purchase the entire kit. Ridiculous.
So frustrating...
Lippert has always been synonymous with low quality. They have ruined every good company that they have acquired. Fantastic Fan is one of the most disappointing to me. They used to have the best quality product and fantastic (pun intended) customer service. Now they are just another Chinese junk variant. All of these frames that flex and fail are all junk Lippert products. They always seem to have an excuse rather than a resolution.
Lippert brings great things to market, no doubt! But an investment group, Lippert, cares only about profit.
I haven't seen anything great. Some things are OK and work but thats about as far as I'd take it.

It is so very insulting when I learn that a vendor I patronize is cheating, lying, swindling its patrons. My route is like yours. I simply do not patronize them anymore, as I’ve never found that I can’t find what I need elsewhere. So I do understand your position and the decision you made. I also applaud your disclosure so that other can make more educated decisions.

Good for you. We have bought a few accessories from Lippert - mainly things that either match a LCI component we already have (like a screen guard for a door) or something we liked that could not be obtained elsewhere easily. Price being the main reason - too dang expensive compared to other options. The old adage “caveat emptor” (let the buyer beware) is always a good one to keep in mind.
Their sin is not being expensive or charging for shipping - it’s asking a reviewer to compromise his integrity and take down a legit review when the product manager should be talking to you to figure out how to improve the product and achieve real value. That’s the difference between entrepreneurs and sham artists.
Of course they are welcome to charge what they want... but to build a "community" around those products and overcharge that "community" for the same items that can be had for 1/2 price or less seems shady and I was not OK with it.
I have had many problems with lippert stuff in my RV'S... poor design's and WAY inflated prices!

Cory, fairly new to RV’ing, and i noticed that Lippert products are always breaking and made like crap! I would never buy Lippert products to replace a part. When i find out i have a Lippert part i replace it…
They were better when they were “LCI”. Even then they were only the cheaper but acceptable product. JMO.
I have dirty taste in my mouth from them also. I purchased a Lippert awning from a 3rd party after I installed it I found it rolled out about 2 inch more than then the original leaving my awning arms pointing down instead of up. I contacted them more then once and there answer was that I needed to adjust the awning so the arms pointed slightly down. But my original carefree awning stopped at the correct place not 2” to far. They already knew about this problem and are not going to fix it.

Enjoying your videos, so thanks. I think you're seeing a couple things unfold that aren't always obvious. One is social media marketing is maturing rapidly. You said it yourself - in 2020 when you were first approached, they had no idea what they were doing. Well, they do now. They know now most youtube creators will do anything to keep that pipeline of evaluation products and or stipends, and they know if they burn one like you, there's 10 more right behind you that will do whatever they tell them to. The other thing being ethics has a whole different meaning to small businessmen like you and I, than it does for a global corporation. To borrow a phrase from another creator I enjoy: they've been huffing their own farts so long, they honestly don't see the problems you pointed out with the e-bike and pricing. Every decision maker at Lippert has a team of people that will tell them what a great idea they have no matter how bad it really is, then go do whatever they're told. The further irony is that the social media liaison you spoke to is just as likely to hold an ivy league master's degree in marketing, as she is just some execs daughter with an instagram habit that seemed a good fit to run the program. I worked in big corporations for 16 yrs and seen all of that first hand. I have no doubt that your Lippert decision and rationalization of this will do nothing but improve your relationship with ethical sponsors you're already partnered with, and attract more like them.

I agree with you. They think if you have a rv you got money and they want it.
What are your thoughts on their non accessory type products? I've had good success with most of the lippert products that we're factory installed on our 2022 Refection.
I think many of the old yellow "LCI" products are OK and even good. Our disc brakes are great. The door upgrade has been good as well.

I am here to tell you, if you don’t subscribe or watch videos / channels like Wandering Weekends and you own or are thinking about an RV, no one wants to hear it. I watched Kory for well over a year before I purchased my GD TT. Honest, truthful, and real. Now I will say that my Soft Start surge protector was a mistake and I am unhappy with my WeighSafe HD hitch. That’s a “me” thing though.
The SoftStart worked very well for me but apparently it had many issues for others. They have developed a new "super heavy duty" version that looks promising. We will see.
