I really like the clear-sounding call it makes in the latter half of the video. It seems like a nervous little bird. It occasionally hunkers down a little and looks up, like it's watching for predators or other animals.
bless u fpr this video. i heard this call for the first time without being able to clearly see the bird making the call and spent hours trying to find a similar call
We found a hurt one of these in our local Metro Parks, and took him to Medina Raptor Center. I sure hope he makes it! Super cute! I appreciate this organization helping us out!
So the other meat is the three whistle call in return to the squeaky call? I just had a very large bird look just like this I guess the crust was down and it was making the three whistle call
They are talking to you..I feed them regularly, and when they see me coming they start their chirping. Some will even fly around me, because they know it's feeding time..They are very smart.
they make this noise for many reasons, probably an alert that a predator is around. these birds are not dumb and often times flock together with other titmice and chickadees (related, basically a distant cousin) to have strength in numbers. they have a hierarchy in their flocks as well and have dedicated lookouts.
Birds don't need cell phones. They can just yell loudly from a lofty branch and the sound carries for miles!
One of my favorite birds. I just heard one outside where I am. So cute.
Wonderful capture! Thanks for sharing! 🐦🐦
That's my favorite sound that any animal makes it's so funny from a real cute animal

I have a couple on my backyard that are permanent residents, and they are indeed gorgeous.
I feed a family of three last 3 months. Cute. Wonder if they know we will have a hard winter. i want them to migrate, not freeze to death in PA.
