Hey @wolfy01, you might check the playlist for this video. This is an ongoing series covering a slew of major updates to the library. One of the major focuses of v3 (aka "Next") is to provide a framework agnostic core for our Tailwind plugin, while still providing components for major UI libraries. Svelte and React will come at launch, with Vue and others coming at a later time. Given this, Next.js will absolutely be supported! can't you make us use it in next.js as well?
