I think it would be pretty cool to add a cave to the next rock face, if possible. Then mini figs could be added showing them try to navigate down to their secret cave hideout
I've been obsessed with this series since I saw the first few videos show up on my recommended videos! I've sat for hours with my jaw on the floor at how intricate and well-thought out everything is. Sometimes I forget that this is LEGO bc of all the stories and real-life details you've been focusing on and have to exclaim as such "This is LEGO!!! These are LEGO houses and there is just an entire floor plan in nearly each one!!" I've really enjoyed watching the build and would love to know if you would still consider putting the "train tunnel night club" behind the maintenance door for a later build. Having a detail like that which could only be viewed by the go-pro train would be a very interesting easter egg (similar to the money laundering scene). Hope you have a great weekend and keep up the astounding work!!
You could add the exit of a sewer system among the next module of the rock face. It would be pretty cool to see a túnel with those typical grates that you would see in places like that
You could definitely continue that rock face out into the harbor and then perch a lighthouse atop it. I think a lighthouse MOC would add a lot of interesting detail to that area and could break up the monotony of the harbor wall.
You could convert the 'stone' harbor at some point to wooden docks where smaller boats are docked. Maybe you can use some weird shapes there too to make it interesting.
I thought the rock face looked out of place until you added the vegetation. Completely changed it around and now it looks excellent and integrated. Well done
This video showed up in my feed, and I was kinda watching and never seen this series before, and thought this kinda cool. Then the camera panned over around 6:57 and I was floored. This whole project is gorgeous
Love watching your progress! I've seen people mention a cave in the rock face, and that would be amazing. Also, on top, maybe a viewing platform for sight seeing can act as a transition from the city to the cliff edge, a waterfront lookout.
I absolutely love your work! I only recently started keeping up with these updates, and it's so cool to see your process and decisions. I think the vegetation really helped integrate the rock face into the rest of the city, you do such interesting things with Lego tree designs!
Farther along on the harbor level, it could be interesting to see a beach. You could also use that space to incorporate some more of your story of the mafia. You could also add a really interesting cave as you've set the precedent of large rock structures. As you do that, you could build some interesting tide pools and waves crashing. Plus, you'd connect to the classic Lego themes of pirates and treasure chests that we all grew up on. What's more, a cave hidden in the rock face could be a great hideout again for the mafia. If it connected to the train as well it could be an end of the train line that might be under construction or something like that. The construction idea could also be cool to see as city workers work on the pipes beneath the road right above it.
You really are on another level of your own. I digest a lot of Lego content and your work just stands out so much in quality, I'm in awe of your talent!
I could honestly watch for hours. Seeing the whole process of making the awesome city makes me fulfill the sense of admiration! Can’t wait to see more of your videos and other projects you pursue.
Dude your killing it! Your build is turning into a nice city, despite the illegal rock hill. A quiet place where you can get a nice job, have a nice family, and go on quiet walks down the block. I’m proud to be able to see this place take shape.
I asked this in another comment but since you commented you might know: What exactly was illegal about the rock face build? I didn't see it. Was it the connection to the underlying baseplate studs? (That the rock face pieces might take some stress getting pressed against the LEGO text on the underlying studs?) I'm confused otherwise as to what was illegal, I didn't see anything.
@@xxxx85 I guess the fact that there usually shouldn’t be a rock pile/ wall next to the street it could fail and fall on someone. That’s why in reality the government would either cover it with a metal net to catch any falling rocks, or tare it down and replace it with a concrete system. It just isn’t that good for a structure to be so unsound, and, unstable. Idk, it could be perfectly safe and legal, but that’s just my opinion. Also it’s not safe to build on a rock hill like that. In fact unless checked by professionals to see if it’s strong, it’s illegal to build on something like that. Hope this was helpful to you😉🙃
@@Ezra.The.American.Patriot Oh... Am I wrong to think the "illegal" in the title refers to illegal LEGO building techniques? There are building techniques that are deemed "illegal" by official LEGO designers because they put stress on the blocks and risk deforming them. So that's what I assumed the title referred to.
I love how natural you make everything! Not sure how illegal the rock wall is, though, unless you count sitting on top of the studs. I know LEGO has done sideways building for sets like the motorized lighthouse and the slanted bottom they used in stuff like the Sandman for the Daily Bugle set. Either way, you did a great job using it all to make it fit very naturally!
the natural cliff-face is a great way to make the city look more grounded and real too! now it feels like the upper levels are built on the natural terrain of a hill ❤
two ideas for you. First one: suspend stuffing from the ceiling to look like clouds and really sell the height of the taller buildings, and the atmosphere especially from lower viewing angles. Maybe even an airplane. The second is a lot more effort: Make an underwater area under the harbor. So the surface of the water is a plane with the boat on it (could be tinted plexiglass if lego couldn't do it), but underneath there's modelled terrain and details like a sunken ship, shark, octopus, diver etc really fantastic city! nothing else like it, absolutely loving the series and watching it progress.
Hey brick. I have a suggestion for the harbor extension. What if you make a water fall come down the rock into the future harbor build? That would be cool and I really like your Lego city so far. Keep going!
Absolutely incredible! Your solutions are so clever! The variance in the vegetation style/colour on and around the rockface works so well! Possibly, that vegetation colour/variance could be applied to the mountain too, I find that the pine tree coverage is very repetitive in a way that looks unnatural. It might also be nice to help break up the repetitive long-grass cover with some more colour variation, or perhaps some small flowers like dandelions which would communicate a less kempt environment. This is such a superb build, love your stuff!
I would have some suggestions to make the harbor less repetitive: 1/ make some piers, either in croncrete/bricks like the present harbor, or a wooden one. Maybe with some damaged planck for the wood en one. 2/ make a boathouse with one or several rowboats inside, maybe a dinghy. 3/ put a small lighthouse somewhere. Either on the end of a piers, on a rock islet with a bridge to the harbor or the place above the harbor, or on a promontory linked to the cliff. 4/ make a pebble beach under the cliff.
On the rock wall face, you could add figures attempting to climb or scale the wall. Or jumping into the water when you elongate the harbor. Or add a jetty and have some figures fishing.
To make the dock a little more interesting, if you'd like a suggestion, you could do a stairs going down 2 sides and make the dock to the right a different style. Perhaps an older bit of architecture, or a more dilapidated version of the left side before it runs into the rock face. Really love this build, wish I could afford to try something like that (both financially and timewise)
I used to build Lego as a child and throughout my young adolescent years but got away from it. Your videos give me peace and make me want to get back into building! Never stop posting!

If you need any random ideas. I could see a bit of rock falling in the water where you just build. Maybe a bit one that makes a bit of a wave. If you could convey that it could make a nice little aspect to your world.
Great use of the flexing pipes. Reminds me of the classic palm trees (which you're probably not using on purpose because of the theme). That rock wall looks good.
As an idea, between the rock face and the harbor, you could make a beach. You could also have the rock face blend out to the left a little into the "water" as rock faces go off the side in a triangleish shapes and not straight down.
Its very satisfying to watch your videos! I want to start from the first ones because I'd like to see the city constructed from the beginning! Thanks for making these so regularly. It puts my mind at ease in this crazy world for some reason. Ich mag diene videos!
I understand that you wanted to make that wall corner semi-detached because it's two different modules, but it'd be cool to use some studless and SNOT connections to have it only really connected up top, but somehow latch in place in the back. Could tie it all in together better
Hey, maybe you can make a beach behind the rocks on the next module! I know you don't like to have a lot of repetition and maybe even this awesome rockface could be repetitive for you to build. A little pirate cove or hidden oasis could be super cool!
I have an idea! Maybe you could have some rocky stairs going from the harbor/sea level to the rock level, and build a cave entrance! And have some lights inside the cave to see inside the entrance of it! Just an idea 🤷
Looks good! I was thinking about your slightly curved pedestrian area (why wouldn’t I be!) and it would be good to have a church/cathedral at the end sitting central to that pedestrianised area. Making it a bit like a church square! So as you looked down the road from the rock face the church is the focus point at the end. You can angle the church plot to meet up with the road you’ll build on the right. And also have a small alley or path with some small buildings going down the left to meet the road behind it, which breaks up the large road grid layout even more but logically brings that area to a conclusion back to the road.
You should build a cave to the right of the rock wall. Make it whatever you like: pirate cave, evil lair, or even have animals in it, like sea lions. Love your work!
Well done on the rock work! I like your plan to cascade it into the sea. The rock gives a plausible geological excuse for your town to be elevated as it is. Consider adding subtle hints about that rock in the city its self. Maybe add an outcropping that couldn’t be flattened in a lot that became a park because it was unsuitable for building.
I think you should consider adding a railing or other barrier on the top level above the rock face. I think it would make it appear more realistic and help with the transition.

With those trees, I feel the underside of the leaves should be brown, to represent the branches/twigs very clever build on the cliffside
How about a (maybe secret) beach underneath the rock face leading down from the stairs? Every harbor town has some pedestrian access to water!
Great video keep up the good work!
Illegal builds are just something else, this guy is an evolved Lego builder 💀
I think you should consider adding a railing or other barrier on the top level above the rock face. I think it would make it appear more realistic and help with the transition.
I can totally see a cool trendy bar on an old pier in the harbour
Looks fantastic! Your fire department minifigs could do some high angle rescue training here to add some life to it!
