I think a gothic style cathedral on the upper platform with a square in front would really spice the higher part of the city up:) Especially as it would rise above the other buildings
I think an engine shed would fit really well. An old industrial building like an engine shed makes a good visual transition between the newer city and the old half timbered village.
Looking at the space, do you think it could support a switch off the main line running into another switch that connects to the other track but still have off the opposite side of the switch to go into an Engine shed too?
It doesn't make sense though to cut a second tunnel under the city that leads to nothing but an engine shed... building tunnels isn't cheap and for the city to do it there must have been a reason. If it connected to the other track, it would make much more sense.
He uploads early on his German channel. This video came out 8 days ago on his German channel. I guess the long delay for him to upload on his english channel was that he got pretty busy,
I’d definitely go for an engine shed. Connecting the tracks would make it difficult to fill them up with anything different than vegetation. Eager to see what you will come up with!
That’s what I was thinking!!! It would bring so much life to that area. I think an engine shed but block the view and connecting that other track feels redundant to me. A pond would be amazing! A cute little dock? 🥺
I love the improvements you've done for your city. In my opinion, having an Engine House for the trains would 0be incredible, as it could be where trains are stored and repaired/upgraded. hope you have a wonderful day!
There are a couple of things you could add to that empty space between the tracks: 1. An industiral style building, like a factory 2. A lake with kayaks and boats 3. Train shed
im not 100% sure if it would fit but the empty space with the train siding could be used for a logging mill, using the siding as a loading platform for logs. you could try and slightly modify the river as well to make a water wheel.
I like the idea of the train yard in that space! You could also make it a train historical monument in the area between the tracks to show off an old lego steam train model and have it be a type of tourist attraction
Would definitely connect the 2 tracks. It wouldnt make sense for the track to end in an engine shed from the main station platform. You could always make a siding from that track afterwards if you want to fill that space up. Love the updates so far!
Awesomew work! In my opinion, connecting the rail to the village station makes total sense BUT there needs to be a reason for a siding so near the main line. As there are a lot of trees everywhere and you already have a train loaded with logs, it might make sense to add a sawmill with its own loading station, maybe with a crane and some sheds too. That kind of building could help making sense of the transition needed between the rural area and the more functional and modern area near the harbour/docks. Also a train depot would be awesome, but why not both? Keep up the good work, mate!
I think that it would be an interesting addition to see an open-air auditorium somewhere in the city. Unlike a theatre, visitors to the museum would also be able to see the entirety of the structure which could allow it to be used for more storytelling.
I think a engine shed could look good right there. Currently you've got mostly residential areas and it would be nice to see a tiny bit of more industrial space
Your updates are worth the time they take because each one presents us something new and we can see the literal change in the city/scenery. Plus, you also have the actual building itself to continue renovating so your time is precious and we recognize that. You're doing an excellent job 👏
another idea for you maybe: i think it would look really cool if you made a bridge using forced perspective in the distance between the mountains with a miniature train crossing it so that it would match the trajectory of the actual train in the tunnel!
I personally love the idea of just connecting the train tracks instead of a train yard because that leaves more opportunities for train views of the lego city!
What about creating a multi side track? This could be small local cargo loading zone with one loading platform and one "parking" track. Or unused and little bit overgrown side track with few abandoned and rusty cargo wagons.
I think a connection would be best in that corner; the engine shed (which would also be really cool) can be placed somewhere else. If you leave the triangle between the tracks open, it'd make a nice field for that very brave deer (and its children, maybe?)
Glad you're feeling better!! My vote is for an ENGINE SHED!! I think it would look so much better and provide some nice contrast to that middle section instead of just having more tracks.
This is hands down the nicest little lego town on the internet! Love seeing what you add and always look out for an upload of a new video! the flowing hills look so good! I think having a train shed would fit perfectly in the blank spot, with a path way to the we village with workers walking to a fro
Beautiful work! Absolutelly love it. To your question: Engine shed for sure! Red brick, not too high so it doesnt block the road too much. Cant wait what tou do next!
I really think you should add a space shuttle takeoff area so it kinda connects to the moon area you have, and you can add astronauts in the shuttle and a mission control too.
As a suggestion, I think it would be fun to ad an abandoned or haunted shack to a field in the world you are creating. It could be another tourist attraction, it could continue the mafia story, or it could just add some realism and ambience to the MOC. I would love to see this as a build in a field area of your Lego world!
this update was so cool!!! these videos are always so exciting, seeing this lego city come together is awesome and always worth the wait between videos
Love from Morocco 🇲🇦 Never thought I would get into watching lego builds but have always loved building mini houses from cardboard. Your videos are always a joy to watch and inspiration as well for when I build things with cardboard or recycled materials. Love your videos! Keep it up!
I've commented on this before, but not sure if you ever saw it. I really think you need some disused infrastructure, especially around the railroad tracks. It is so common to see disused spurs with vegetation growing around it some old buildings or foundations. I think instead of an engine shed (or in addition) add an old goods yard with buffers directly beyond the points, but the tracks continuing on. Then, as I said before, you can fill in with vegetation and have the old platform foundation.
Connecting the rails together would make a proper connection for a loop, but an Engine Shed does sound better. Though if there is enough room with the switch track that connects to the rest of the tracks you could put a small engine shed/workshop right by it. And maybe what makes that engine shed special is we can see Lego people are working on restoring an old steam engine or doing general maintenance or either another engine or rolling stock.
I've only been watching for 2 or 3 months, but the Lego city keeps on getting better! I do have some suggestions though: 1. Zebra Crossings, I think It will make the city a lot more realistic, especially if there are a few people near or walking across the crossing. 2. Bus stations, I think that it will be a nice addition to the public transport. 3. A small bus garage, maybe having a capacity of a few buses, It will add more realism to my second suggestion. These are just some features I think would be cool. Well done, keep up the good work!🙏.
I think Brickcrafts is the best UA-cam channel out there for LEGO creation content. It truly has a unique style. Almost every other LEGO city designer is just putting together sets that LEGO has already produced, but on Brickcrafts, every single creation is original and sophisticated. From the simplest street bench to the most complex buildings, everything is a MOC. This channel has truly embraced the essence of LEGO’s philosophy and takes creativity to the highest level. Given all this, I’m genuinely surprised that the creator of this channel has to buy the LEGO pieces for their city creations. You might say, "The channel is already high-quality, and because of that, it gets a lot of views, so the creator probably earns well from UA-cam." Sure, that might be true, and of course, the channel should have its UA-cam revenue. But still, I’m amazed that LEGO isn’t sponsoring all the parts needed for these incredible city builds. How could there be a better promotion for LEGO? How can the urge to play with LEGO and create with LEGO be more deeply inspired in kids, teens, and adults alike? I just don’t get it. What better advertising could there be for LEGO? And you might argue, "LEGO is already the world’s largest toy company, they have a certain marketing budget, and they’re already well-known worldwide... Why should they support a LEGO city creator?" To that, I’d say: No other LEGO city creator channel places "creativity" at the center of their work like Brickcrafts does. This aligns perfectly with LEGO’s core philosophy of creativity, which I find incredibly valuable. Secondly, I’ve always thought one of the key elements of LEGO toys and the company itself is intelligence (and I believe many others think the same). I often say, "LEGO is such a brilliantly managed company; there’s so much cleverness in all their toys and sets." That’s why it doesn’t seem smart to me-at least from the company’s perspective-that the Brickcrafts channel still has to pay for the LEGO pieces they use. Why wouldn’t you reward someone who creates such an amazing world with your products? Wouldn’t that also inspire a sense of gratitude within the company? I really can’t understand it from so many angles. Anyway, my friend, you’re creating an incredible world, and we’re all eagerly and lovingly following your journey. Take care and keep up the great work!
i think that connecting if possible is the better option for flow, maybe a small station to make it reasonable, but your idea of having the engine shed for actual utility is a better use of space, rather than making one that is more looks than functional. i suppose only you could maybe combine the two with something under the table but that seems a bit much, look forward to the next update!
These updates are really awesome! Maybe for the background hills beyind the timber houses, you could add something to break it up a little to keep from getting repetitive. Maybe a radio tower, or a small radar dome which are often found in higher places, or even just a few more rocks or trees or something. But maybe that would distract too much from the things in the foreground.
I agree with some other comments that an industrial looking engine shed would help transition from the old town to the more modernized city. It would add a sense of history to the city.
Simply brilliant. I have recently started a custom LEGO city on my channel and the techniques and styles that you use are so inspirational. This is by far the best LEGO City on UA-cam. Keep up the amazing work.
I vote connecting the two train tracks - it looks a little remote/cramped for a shed and as a model railroad gal, more running options are always better IMO
Putting an engine shed on that siding would take up a lot of space, obscure the view of the old town and draw the viewer's attention away from the old town. I think a siding with some lumber wagons and a timber yard would be low profile and provide lots of opportunities for good little stories. It would fit right in because it's already next to the forest and there are already lumber wagons in your existing rolling stock!
Everything looks fantastic. Great to see your old city too. I take the inspiration I get from you and try to improve my build. Hope you get better quickly, being sick is frustrating.
Love to see the progress. Something that would be really nice to see is an actual farm. In that case you can make fields for the farm in the akward spaces for example where the train track ends, or as for what i vote for, connect it to the other track 🙂
Every week, I wait impatiently for the video updating your city. I'm never disappointed with the results, even if sometimes I want more. Thank you for your work, your creativity and your authenticity in your videos. Just THANK YOU!
The engine shed is a great idea, I think there are already plenty of locations to showcase a Y in the track, an engine shed next to the older style town would look really good!
With the risk of sounding like a broken record, I also think an engine shed would be the right choice for the empty track. Partly because, as someone else said, it's an excelent transition with a victorian age building between the old town and the modern city, and also because as of right now the trains just "exist" in the city, the shed would give their existence context and sort of wrap up the trais' story nicely.
Fantastic work on your Lego city! The attention to detail and creativity you bring to each build is truly impressive. I've been following your channel for a while now, and I wanted to suggest adding a cargo train station to enhance the transportation aspect of your city. Instead of connecting the rails to the another, you can build there some sort of end of tracks for cargo loading and deloading. Keep up the amazing content, and I can't wait to see how your city continues to evolve!
The relatively modern bus stop was a great, and realistic, fit for the old town! While trains and trams had great time to spread about in Europe, busses only came about with the normalization of automobiles. Looking at it that way, of course a bus stop could have been achieved with a single sign too, but this adds a lot more flavor, and I feel like it's a common sight
I would prefer the siding with connection to the other track. That would give you more options for train routes and creates a proper double-track section between the two stations. And the loop.
We love your layout and all your updates. Maybe put the train shed near the future airport to give it the sense that it's the end of the line? Keep up the great work. Glad you're feeling better.
Goodness I wish I had that much money for legos, also I love the bus station, added hill, and the added house, and can’t wait for another update. This is one of the best yt channels there are ❤
I would connect the two lines, making it easier to access the further platform in the main town. However, since you are running the 9volt system, you would have to connect it to the track closer to the viewing area at the little village (away from the station building) to not short circuit the layout. I would love to see a train shed, but the extra track make more sense, unless you can do both. Glad your feeling better!
I love this channel, this channel is the only channel that I watch religiously, I always watch the videos as soon as they come out and I never miss one!! And I'm proud to say I've been following from early on too!
Please do the connection. Then you will create a segment of a double-track mainline, which is affordable for the size of the city and probably needed. I think you will have some space left so you can do some rail infrastructure like a shed or just a side track, used for parking the train in between its runs or maybe a maintenance vehicle. You are making such an awesome city man, can't wait to see more. Thank you.
Visually the tracks are pretty boring, so unless connecting the 2 tracks would open up some fun interactions with the trains I would vote for a train yard / shed. Regarding the deer feeling close to the house and the tracks, maybe switch it with the rabbit. It would be more likely to see a bunny close to a garden filled of vegetables than a deer. Plus if you think of the visitors, they might not be able to get close enough or be tall enough to spot the bunny further back but the deer being taller might still be visible. Anyway, keep up the good work. It's always fun to see your creations!
Deers can come quite close to rails and villages. The village is normally during quiet hours, but when it comes to the train they do not percieve it as a danger after they get used to it.
I think a gothic style cathedral on the upper platform with a square in front would really spice the higher part of the city up:) Especially as it would rise above the other buildings
Not to mention tall building = cool
This is an awesome idea! I think a unique building would really spice up that part of the city.
He started one in his early days actually!! Don’t know why he abandoned it. Was (and is) such a cool idea
Yessss
Oh yes I love gothic cathedrals
I think an engine shed would fit really well. An old industrial building like an engine shed makes a good visual transition between the newer city and the old half timbered village.
Agreed, the simpler connection would work fine, and I worry about space for a train shed, but I think it would be nice.
Looking at the space, do you think it could support a switch off the main line running into another switch that connects to the other track but still have off the opposite side of the switch to go into an Engine shed too?
I agree
I agree!

Honestly don’t even care that it takes 2 weeks for him to upload because he always delivers
Frr
He uploads early on his German channel. This video came out 8 days ago on his German channel. I guess the long delay for him to upload on his english channel was that he got pretty busy,
Yeah he’s a real good quality over quantity uploader
@@tamimi9231he’s got a German Channel?!!!
@@yauchikinhis German channel is Bob Brickman
I’d definitely go for an engine shed. Connecting the tracks would make it difficult to fill them up with anything different than vegetation. Eager to see what you will come up with!
Definitely the best Lego UA-camr. Your city is never boring. Congratulations ❤
Agreed!
Yes clearly
FR
It would be cool to see a bigger pond or lake with associated recreation, like boats, kayaks, swimming, etc. Could be a good space filler
I agree. More water. Rivers or creeks.
Yes
That’s what I was thinking!!! It would bring so much life to that area. I think an engine shed but block the view and connecting that other track feels redundant to me. A pond would be amazing! A cute little dock? 🥺
And something moving on the water, boats, fish, ...
This man is truly brave to be hanging out with Legos so much and not get injured
Say your name
he got injured sometimes but i can't deny he's brave
bro i see you everywhere
One hopes he wears shoes!
I think that you could turn that extra railroad into an abandoned one that used to be used, as I'm always seeing some of those all over the place.
I love the improvements you've done for your city.
In my opinion, having an Engine House for the trains would 0be incredible, as it could be where trains are stored and repaired/upgraded.
hope you have a wonderful day!
There are a couple of things you could add to that empty space between the tracks:
1. An industiral style building, like a factory
2. A lake with kayaks and boats
3. Train shed
my entire lego experience is vicariously through this guy, I love this guy and I love what the city is becoming
im not 100% sure if it would fit but the empty space with the train siding could be used for a logging mill, using the siding as a loading platform for logs. you could try and slightly modify the river as well to make a water wheel.
This
Yes
I vote for the engine shed. It would add a bit of variety to the railroad system :)
I think you should add the castle back to the Lego city, it was amazing! And I also think and engine shed would be lovely, so good luck!
I was thinking the same thing, a german style turreted castle would really suit the aesthetic of the village area as well.
Personally, I really like the idea of an engine shed. If Thomas has taught me anything, it's that trains need a place to sleep, too.
Definitely a shed with a turntable outside, if you add a turntable you can also connect the other train track at any angle you want.
Love the hills! They really add a nice coziness to the town
The engine shed is the best option for me. An old style with the CFF Crocodile inside would look very good ❤
i think connecting the tracks will allow for a bit more open space and will allow the village to feel a bit more distant from the nice new city
This is one of my favourite updates so far!
Amazing I love every second of these
I personally love the idea of just connecting the train tracks instead of a train yard because that leaves more opportunities for train views of the lego city!
What about creating a multi side track? This could be small local cargo loading zone with one loading platform and one "parking" track. Or unused and little bit overgrown side track with few abandoned and rusty cargo wagons.
4:53 because the plants and nature are so amazingly detailed it makes the house roofs stand out
Always love these updates. Those pumpkins were a brilliant way to add color variety to the area.
I think a connection would be best in that corner; the engine shed (which would also be really cool) can be placed somewhere else. If you leave the triangle between the tracks open, it'd make a nice field for that very brave deer (and its children, maybe?)
Love to see an industry connected to the end of that railway track! Maybe a factory or a mill? With some wagons to match ❤
He spent $3500 on LEGO bricks and now he have a Lego City that's more populated than his actual town
Hidden somewhere in the city should be a building who's interior looks like a mini replica of your lego museum itself. Something meta :P
You could do ruins of some castle that some tourists are visiting in the studless surface, like a museum or something
Finally! I always look forward to the next video! And yes, I would prefer connecting the train tracks.
Glad you're feeling better!! My vote is for an ENGINE SHED!! I think it would look so much better and provide some nice contrast to that middle section instead of just having more tracks.
Could I suggest maybe adding a Well in the town? I think it would really suit it 😊
The estethic eye and precision is astonishing.
This is hands down the nicest little lego town on the internet! Love seeing what you add and always look out for an upload of a new video! the flowing hills look so good!
Best lego creator on UA-cam! No ranting, just great builds and excellent commentary. Thanks!
Engine shed would be. Cool and fill more space.(less vegetation or open studs)

engine shed in the wall for actual utility^

Woah love the new editing style didn’t expect that, super cool
Engine shed can use the space creatively, and if possible, the train track could run through the engine shed and still connect to the tracks.

Wow great progress! This is such an inspiration build! Can't wait for the Western update!
This is simultaneously crazy and awesome. Keep it going man.
Everything looks fantastic. Great to see your old city too. I take the inspiration I get from you and try to improve my build. Hope you get better quickly, being sick is frustrating.

Definitely an engine shed! Love these videos so much, definitely one of the best Lego UA-camrs out there
Always Love seeing what you’re doing! And Yay for western PaB pieces!!! Also, is the castle from the older videos coming back?!? 🏰
Really great additions to the city! Worth the wait as always.
The engine shed is a great idea, I think there are already plenty of locations to showcase a Y in the track, an engine shed next to the older style town would look really good!
I love your videos, it’s now on my bucket list to see your museum in person!
I would love to see a manor added to the back of the village area!

6:22 you should put a big gothic clock tower right there. Totaly wouldn't fix in, but that would make it look cooler.
Having another set of hills higher behind the first set would look great and give some really cool perspective and depth to the city
Fantastic work on your Lego city! The attention to detail and creativity you bring to each build is truly impressive. love the new building and yo! that man mowing the lawn is amazing! i love it so much!
I would prefer the siding with connection to the other track. That would give you more options for train routes and creates a proper double-track section between the two stations. And the loop.
would be cool if you added a treehouse somewhere in the city, love you, i have watched nearly every episode :)
Beautiful build, and I love the stop motion at the beginning so time consuming.
An engine shed or even a roundhouse would make sense. Maybe there's also space for a turntable to rotate engines in an out.
Thank you.
I would prefer to connect the both tracks but put the shed over it, so it can be used from both sides :)
I dread the day he finishes all his builds... I love these building videos!
Maybe add a small shed that has a line running in and out! Best of both worlds!
Amazing video, as usual!
6:52 Yoo WTFF!!?1 ENTHUSIAST!!
You always add that one more thing that makes the scenery pop. Love the pumpkins!
Deers can come quite close to rails and villages. The village is normally during quiet hours, but when it comes to the train they do not percieve it as a danger after they get used to it.
