ASMR stands for Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response it is described as a pleasurable tingling sensation that can be felt most commonly in the back of the scalp and down the spine but not limited to these area's.
I try to describe ASMR experience to people using something common like visiting a hairdresser, do you find the experience of someone focusing on you, the gentle touching of your hair, the sound of the scissors moving around you relaxing?
That would be a relaxing experience, watching ASMR video is like recreating that type of experience.
I believe most people can experience ASMR, to experience ASMR you need to find you trigger, common triggers will often be related to one person focusing on you or another person and watching this person focus or give them attention will trigger it.

Watching someone draw or paint
Sounds : Crinkle, Tapping, Scratching & multi layering of different sounds together
Almost anything can be a "trigger' for a persons ASMR everybody is different, you just have to find yours.

Love the sounds, they're nice and strong. The intro, however, is maybe a little too loud? I have this on a paylist when I am falling asleep and the intro startles me awake. :D But if I turn it down, I don't hear most other things including the rest of your vid. I'm just one person, but - feedback? :)

If you install adblock plus, there's never any ads for any youtube video. (Except videos where they actively plug a product, obviously).
+DeadDancers The adblocker is effective, yes, but it prevents the uploader from getting the money from the adverts. :( So, even though they are pretty frustrating, I'll persistently keep ads on because I'd imagine he has earned the money since I personally can't fund him any other way. :)
DeadDancers Yeah, you are right, that would be sweet if you could adjust the volume to match the situation - for example very low during the nights. I do understand that loud adverts startle people awake when they are trying to sleep, and that indeed is a pity. :(
That seems to be a trend with him. He starts loud and the gets quiet thereafter.
