What kind of reel were you spoiling up at the beginning?

A tip for you guys spooling any reel with braid. Wrap the braid 3 or 4 times around the spool arbor then tie a slip knot (hangmans) and pull up tight and rotate the spool when doing so. It will lock onto the spool and it will not slip, try it and see what you think. Cheers guys love your shows.

Mig mate, at least with you spooling the reel, you know you won't miss any eyes on the rod haha but man that car and boat combo is an absolute beast of a rig.

Haha. Cheers man, she's quite the rig alright! We usually use a mix of Zman and Gulp, a decent mixture of both 👍
@FishingAdventureCrew certainly is man, you boys have done extremely well for yourselves. I'll have to head over in the next couple of years for a trip. Where would you boys recommend going for the fishing and would you know any charters?

what model is that sabiki rod? I've used them before and found my hit rate goes down heaps would love to see a manufacturer make one thats sensitive like a normal soft bait rod
It's the Okuma Sabiking. Not as sensitive as a softbait rod but it definitely has enough give so that the mackies stay on... Have no issues hooking them either, love this rod!
