Honestly, those anti-foie-gras people can go sit in a corner (the polite way to describe what they can go and do). Foie gras is truly the most delicious and marvelous food ever to be created by human beings and while I suppose people are allowed to pick and choose whether or not they want to eat it, I will challenge anyone who doubts its sheer fabulousness as an ingredient. I'm glad you too see the light😉😉😉
@@Humanprototype-wh8qr The foie I buy is free range and the geese are fed on an exclusively organic diet without force feeding. It is as good as it gets, and their lives are naturally very short, so the effects of a fatty liver are not felt so heavily by the animals. Respectfully, I am at peace with my choices.
One lobster claw right side of plate pointing up second diner claw on the left pointing down. Poor attention to detail? Would eat either nice vid thanks, only ever walked past.
@@cumbriafoodie2259 how about u go across the road and eat at HIDE and compare quality. Ritz is boring, duck overcooked, starter, main and dessert all had almonds, 4 dishes had grapes, all had cherry jelly. Wellington was overcooked, there was no spinach layer in it. I can say a lot of things U can't say anything to defend I think it is a waste of space and chefs I understood now what french told me by these restaurants don't care how it tastes it only cares how it looks. Have a lovely day
Please boycott this hotel: it is owned by the dictatorial family from Qatar. Apart from all the classics (no freedom of speech, no free press, tortures…), LGBT people are persecuted and women are second class citizens. If all that is not enough, migrant workers from poor asian countries (Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, India…) work there in near-slavery conditions , specially during the construction of the infrastructures of the recent football cup. @@supremeenlightenedtramp1080 ok you go anyway, we don't criticize someone going there, we just don't understand why people pay so much for such a small thing, and then we can't understand why they worry about the hungry people in the world, you can feed the people in a village in africa with the money you pay here
u have no concept of how much food it actually adds up to being. clearly a troll. no understanding of what these ingredients cost either. people can spend their money however they want. govt’s just printed trillions of dollars and gave it to bankers. stop trying to put solving world hunger into people who want to enjoy things. we could solve world hunger and beyond if every country put 1/20th of their military budgets towards it. get the f$&@ out of here w this nonsense. they don’t do instead of complaining about them ur on a food blog youtube trying to say people who eat luxury ingredients are the problem. ignorant people who can’t see their govt’s aren’t doing sh!t to solve anything are the problem. not these people actually paying for a meal which then in turn creates jobs and revenue and the taxes that end up not being spent to solve world hunger. the money is there and it comes from people who spend money to create jobs. the govt can’t just do free shit, it comes from others in the form of taxes off of their production of goods and service. stop being ignorant.

Boycott my favourite hotel and restaurant ? Are you crazy ? Not a chance . You'll have to give me better reasons than that not to visit the Ritz.
@@cumbriafoodie2259 . “Better reasons”? So I gather from your response that you are sympathetic towards dictatorships, are you?
