1984 'ਚ ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਹਰਿਮੰਦਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਤੇ ਫੌਜ਼ੀ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ। 33 ਸਾਲ ਦੇ ਵਕਫੇ ਨਾਲ ਓਪਰੇਸ਼ਨ ਬਲੂ ਸਟਾਰ ਬਾਰੇ ਕਈ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਭੁਲੇਖੇ ਜਾਂ ਤਾਂ ਪਾ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਗਏ ਜਾਂ ਫਿਰ ਆਪ ਪੈਦਾ ਹੋ ਗਏ। ਸਾਕਾ ਨੀਲਾ ਤਾਰਾ ਨੂੰ ਲਾਗਿਓ ਕਵਰ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਯੂ.ਐਨ.ਆਈ. ਦੇ ਪੱਤਰਕਾਰ ਜਸਪਾਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਸਿੱਧੂ ਤੇ ਪੂਰਾ ਵਰਤਾਰਾ ਨੇੜਿਓ ਦੇਖਿਆ ਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਿੰਡੇ ਤੇ ਹੰਢਾਇਆ।
ਟੀਵੀ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਨੇ ਜਸਪਾਲ ਸਿਧੂ ਤੋਂ ਪੂਰੇ ਘਟਨਾ ਕ੍ਰਮ ਦੀ ਤਰਤੀਬ ਵਾਰ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਹਾਸਿਲ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ ਕੀਤੀ। ਟੀਵੀ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਪੱਤਰਕਾਰ ਮਨਦੀਪ ਸਿੰਘ ਟੁੱਟ ਨੇ ਜਸਪਾਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਸਿਧੂ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲੀ ਜੂਨ ਤੋਂ ਛੇ ਜੂਨ ਤਕ ਦਾ ਅੱਖੀਂ ਡਿੱਠਾ ਹਾਲ ਜਾਣਿਆ। ਅੱਜ ਦੀ ਇਸ ਕਿਸ਼ਤ 'ਚ ਜਾਣੋਂ ਦੂਜੇ ਦਿਨ ਦੀ ਫੌਜੀ ਰਣਨੀਤੀ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਤੀਸਰੇ ਦਿਨ (ਤਿੰਨ ਜੂਨ) ਨੂੰ ਕੀ ਕੁੱਝ ਹੋਇਆ ...

On 3rd June 84,curfew was imposed in the morning and relaxed for 2 hours from 1 PM to 3PM.
Militants come to know the military attack well in advance and started fortification. Heavy casualties of army men took place.Army men were reluctant to enter inside temple complex fearing sure death.So Army officers tried to hide the casualties from next batch of troops.Even some army men were shot dead by their officers for not obeying orders.
