    go cheap is great!
    at the beginning I used scrap paper and 4 cardboard boxes lol
    probably not the way to go but it got me started
    I hope this system gets more people started!

      Great!
      The main thing is:
      1. To start
      2. To save everything you write
      The organisation part may vary, but you will need to start this pile growing if you want to be able to refer to that information later on!😊

    Hey! Thanks for all your videos, it's hard to find a youtube channel that talks about the use of pen and paper to achieve real world progress (and not simply showing how many stickers they have put in their notebook).
    Currently i'm in research for a notetaking method to remember and note down all sorts of things in my life, currently i'm using an ipad with Apple Pencil and i must say that the convinence of having handwritten notes along side images, file and links is something with a lot of potential. So why for example you are using pen and paper instead of a digital system like this? I'm very curious to have your opninion.

      To be completely honest with you there are so many benefits that i’m not even sure if I’ll be able to count all of them in this commentary. Let’s just say for now that it is: safer, more convenient for me and much more accessible and quicker than using digital notes. I guess I should just do a separate video for this topic just to explain How it works for me. Because as I can see a lot of people simply don’t understand why it’s so effective. So stay tuned for new videos and thank you for interesting topic to discuss!

      @@I_wrote_it_down Thanks very much for the response and maybe a future video, i'm looking forward to it!
      I woul love to know more deeply why you choose paper over digital, as i'm strugglining find a balance beetween the two.
      Have a nice day.

    I really like the simplicity of your system. Thanks for sharing. Do you have some kind of reference/ index where you can find a special information quickly?

    • @I_wrote_it_down
      @I_wrote_it_down  5 місяців тому +2

      Thanks for watching! No I do not… that’s a good idea actually, thanks! As for right now - I keep that info in my memory (because there is not a lot of bundles and i name there pretty obvious), but sure will need something like that soon😅

      @@I_wrote_it_down I know of a video that can help with that!
      On the channel "Journal De Silvie", she has a video called "Index - the easy lookup for information in your commonplace book". Like tons of people who came long before us and already figured these things out, she uses a combo of a slim margin on the page itself, and then an index at the back of the notebook (or bundle).
      I'll try to link it, dunno if you've got the ability to link turned on: ua-cam.com/video/WBnPcuJRUnk/v-deo.html
      Basically what you've made is what folks like John Locke, Thomas Jefferson, etc used to carry around with them as their own catch-all/commonplace book. (These days ppl call it a Traveler's Notebook, but they existed for hundreds of years before Midori started selling them as that.)

    Do you use special paper to make the bundles ? Or just regular paper ?

    • @I_wrote_it_down
      @I_wrote_it_down  3 місяці тому +1

      Just a regular paper. You can even print something on them and then fold to get yourself a unique bundle. Soon I will release a video on how to assemble your own Everbook so make sure you won’t miss it!

    Thanks for posting this! For your bundle, do you just go chronically or do you go back and re-bundle them by subject?

    • @I_wrote_it_down
      @I_wrote_it_down  5 місяців тому +1

      Nice question! Actually I do everything chronologically, but if I see that I have a lot of info for same subject - I just collect this info into separate bundle (if I need quick access to it, or might want to refer to it in future). It does not happen as often as it might look, but IF NEEDED - I can spend few minutes to combine everything together
