Nice overview! I have an A5 on my wish list. Love how those leather covers lay flat without effort. Lucky that plotter didn't have a proprietary ring system, as new planner companies are wont to do.
@@TwoMiceOnMyBookshelf the number of different paper punches I have is ridiculous. I came to my senses though, and will never buy another proprietary punch as long as I live!😁
@@psychedianic 😂 So sorry I did not know you have some of those! I only know Filofax from the late 1990s which I used for about 5 years, so I always thought these are all standard!
Thanks for sharing. I was really tempted to get a Plotter until I found out that they are now using chrome rings. In a way I am glad as I can save money ha ha. I’ll be sticking to my Filofax Heritage which is a good and significantly cheaper alternative to the Plotter but sadly only comes with chrome rings.
@@penthevision4706 So the non gold coloured hardware is chrome? Bad economy is effecting everyone. I just ordered some notebooks which early this year was $10 less from Japan 😿 Isn’t Filofax bulky though? Also the “system” I think is slightly different? Those are why I am spending the extra money. For now! We’ll see if it is worth it! You can still buy the old brass hardware from Yoseka 😁
Yes the non gold rings are chrome. The Filofax Heritage is very slim for a Filofax but the leather is much thicker than the Plotter leather. Thanks for the tip re gold rings from Yoseka
@@penthevision4706 Do we know if Plotter is changing ALL of its metal wear to chrome? I am relatively new to Plotter so can’t remember if they have a preexisting chrome and silver coloured metal wear for the other third of leather.

@@psychedianic I won’t give any ring companies who force me to buy their refill exclusively any of my money!
