About Halloween II (1981) - After failing to kill stubborn survivor Laurie (Jamie Lee Curtis) and taking a bullet or six from former psychiatrist Dr. Sam Loomis (Donald Pleasence), Michael Myers (Dick Warlock) has followed Laurie to the Haddonfield Memorial Hospital, where she's been admitted for Myers' attempt on her life. The institution proves to be particularly suited to serial killers, however, as Myers cuts, stabs and slashes his way through hospital staff to reach his favorite victim.

Wow ! Great to see so many of the original cast of Halloween II all back together again. So nice that they all have great admiration for their time on the movie and for each other .

Don't care what the new Halloween claims. Halloween 2 1981 will always be the true sequel to me. hated the new one, only thing i liked about it was Jamie Lee Returning.

@Jarred Knox The thing is, Laurie never had a reaction to it (RZH2 did it WAY better with Laurie giving her a brilliant reaction to it) I mean, even John Carpenter regrets it, he did write that in after a drinking night, that's why he likes H2018, cuz it ignores it. If Halloween 2 didn't made the sibling thing, 4, 5, 6 would have obviously been different (and better), the sibling thing even made Michael less scarier to me (think about H5....) I just love the original with having Laurie "being at the wrong place at the wrong time" alot more. So, it kind of handcuffed the franchise.
@Jarred Knox It really impacted the direction the series took after that. Making Michael into a guy who hunter his relatives robbed him of a lot of his power. He's much scarier as the embodiment of fear and death who kills people for no apparent reason.

When i was preteen I had Crush on young Michael myers
Jamie Lee Curtis didn't really impress me in this movie, as far as being one of the lead actors. It was really Michael and Dr Loomis and a contribution from others that made this work.
@Jarred Knox she's a cartoon character in H18 and whilst that is a lot to do with the script she still plays it cartoony

Sure, she was totally grounded and not at all cartoony, nope, combat Laurie who trained her daughter batman style is totally grounded and not at all cartoony, not even with her apocalypse bunker which doubles as an incredibly unlikely explosive trap, not at all...
How did I know when it got to her she would bring up being black? It never fails! News flash!!! Nobody cares about your color as much as you do sista. Most of the cast are rolling their eyes trying to be polite.
