@UrbanRockCrawling ok thanks.
@@blackmacgyver9965 you are welcome
Punctuation in the title not being possible, maybe “Making a scissor jack safe for off-road use”
But “making a scissor jack off road” ain’t it
I get what you are saying, but we have used it to change out 2 tires and lift a truck off a ledge it was high centered on. It was able to get into that tight spot and lift it off the rock. Allowing us to stack rocks under the tires so he could drive out with no body damage.
Everyone has their preference, but i used to use a high lift jack, and it was just so dangerous and tippy. Bottle jacks are great, but they are tall and can't get into super small areas. Like when that truck was stuck. Also, the high lift you have to have an area on the rig that can handle lifting it from. And if your not on good ground, it gets even more sketchy.
Floor jacks are great, but take up room, also really heavy. I think floor jacks are the best, but the room they take up and the amount of weight they add to the rig is a lot. So the scissor jack was in my mind the best happy medium.
@@JeepTrailsandBarbells sorry I don’t think you’re wrong at all about its use. I just think the title needs a rework. The classic difference in punctuation:
I helped my Uncle Jack, off a horse.
I helped my uncle jack off a horse.
Very different sentences
