The Look-See is one of the most mean spirited monsters to me and I'm all for how unsure I feel about it. Most horror villains and monsters have become rockstars of their respective movies; you're almost rooting for them as they annihilate shallow or outright unlikeable characters. But these people are beset by grief and are being punished for it? That's cold af. It's a very chilling monster and really drives home the eerieness of every Look-See encounter
I think is because from what i get is because the look-see is trying to help theses people let go of their trauma or obssession in his on twisted way. Thats why the note says "If you yourself cannot release, It will come to take a piece" it means that he wants theses people to get rid of something that simbolizes a trauma or bad memory in a way to become better and when they cannot let go for some reason he goes and killed them. But then again Thats is my on interpreatation.
The Look-See is a cool monster with a nice motive, but he violates his own rules in almost every kill. Even when people do release their attachments, he still kills them for whatever reason. Like, you're gonna fault the dude for forgetting 1/16th of the cake he threw away, or the girl for hesitating a few seconds before throwing away her ring? Technicalities, man...
I think you made a mistake with Jonathan at the end. he was supposed to release the red ribbon, not the cake cause the ribbon was there on his his daughter died but the cake was just recently made.
The Jumpscares actually got me, its very smart what they do! They do one fake, then another, then another....it makes you think okay, they faked it 3 times, i think we’re go-BAM! OH SHIT XD
what really got me was the movements of the monster. It's so unnatural and strange. Jumpscares rarely scare me, these don't either....but it almost gets there, makes my heart take a little leap.
My friend is going to be a bedsheet ghost for Halloween. She said "everyone says they're super common but I've never seen one." She makes a very valid point
I feel like it’s less “common” and more so iconic. I think bedsheet ghosts stopped being common probably around the mid nineties but they were definitely in consistent abundance decades prior.
This is why dead meat is such a great channel. James is so conistent and always come through. Like when I get home from school on Friday I can always look forward to a kill count. Plus it's only good vibes here. Great place for horror fans. This channel is just a m a z i n g
If there's one thing I really appreciate about this it's the fact Crypt TV is utilizing the visual aspects of movie making to deliver exposition, instead of giving us a bumload of unecessary dialogue.
Holy crap I like horror but this shit was just too much! Its not even just jumpscares like usual horror movies, they're smart. You know a jumpscares coming but then it does some creepy shit like teleporting the little girl or having the shoes move under the stall. I cant get over it!
I know everyone hates on jumpscares but this is actually interesting and they mix it up a bit. I was constantly ready for jumpscares but I got got a bunch of times anyway. The jumpscare gauntlet is actually a pretty fun experience when it’s original like this.
I just want to say something here. This kill count made me check out Crypt TV which ultimately caused me to start watching horror movies. Now horror is one of my favorite genres of movies and the number of them I've seen since The Ritual (which I'd love to see kill count for) over the summer of 2019 is now at 51 with the most recent one being A Bucket of Blood (1959).
Wow, the stuff crypt tv does completely blew me out of the water. I was expecting some low quality student film kind of stuff, and instead I get what looks like was made by some of the best. I can’t wait to see more from you and crypt tv, and I’ll definetly try to tune into the livestream! ❤️

Grostic actually look-see went to the hospital to recruit Jenny (the girl with the ring) after his the guy who left the note for Jenny killed himself.Also Jenny did put the ring in the toilet, but once look-see broke her legs and took her hand he left the ring in her hand
"We have some jump-scares ahead." At this point I decided that I would put my water bottle away and refrain from drinking anything for the rest of the clip. Also goes pretty far to show how awesome this channel is. Yeah, we all like horror, but a short warning for this stuff is always appreciated and just really considerate. Edit after wtaching: Holy jumping jesus! Even in a review those jumpscares were tight. But then again I am a sucker for them. Also, the kills were really brutal and seemed pretty well thought out. So I've gotta say that (especially on a "hobby" budget!) these films really stand out. Hats off to Crypt TV.
Hey James, GREAT suggestion here. Why don't you make a kill count about 'April Fools Day'? April is slowly coming this way and I just wanted to tell you there IS a horror movie about April first. Besides that, the twist at the end could make this a very special kill count.. :D Please like so James sees this!
Spoiler I think isn’t the twist that no one dies and it’s a April fools prank that would be the lowest kill count with 0 kills but I think it is a good suggestion and hope James does it
Some of the jump scares were well made usually you are able to predict when a jump scare is about to happen in a movie but with these you aren’t able to tell as much. Also I really like the look of the Look-see with it’s sinister smile

This series has some of the best horror direction I’ve ever seen, able to hold up pretty well even when compared to the likes of James Wan, Jordan Peele, and Ari Aster. Similar with cinematography.
