- Many songs from the Tamil Films have been ignored periodically for reasons best known to no one. Especially, never or rarely attempted in any reality shows, stage shows or competitions.
When the nation is on a Quarantine, Subhasree Thanikachalam launches this new series.
This series will feature a set of rare songs that are rarely heard, rarely performed and she will also try and give some trivia for the songs.
The songs will all be performed by young singers who came out of her shows, which mainly focussed on old songs. The sessions are unplugged and performed with minimum instrumentation. No retakes. One stretch live performance..

Msv என்ற மாமேதையின் மேற்கத்திய இசை கோர்ப்புகளை கேட்டு மேற்கத்திய இசையை ஹிந்தியில் 50 களில் கொண்டு வந்த சங்கர் ஜெய்கிஷனே வியந்து பாராட்டியுள்ளார். ரஷ்யா வின் லெனின் கார்ட் இல் Sirkorsky பியானோ notes ஐ அந்த music hall ல் அரை மணி நேரம் msv வாசித்ததை கேட்டு ரஷியர்கள் அனைவரும் அசந்து போனதை கண்ணதாசன் தன் சுய சரிதையில் குறிப்பிட்டுள்ளார். கிட்டத்தட்ட 80 மேற்கத்திய இசை கருவிகள் வாசிப்பவர்களுக்கு நிரந்தரமாக 10 -15 வருடம் வேலை கொடுத்துள்ளார் msv என்றால் எந்த அளவிற்கு மேற்கத்திய இசையில் புலமை வாய்ந்தவர் msv என்று புரிந்து கொள்ளலாம். மேற்கத்திய symphony யை தமிழ் நாட்டிற்கு (இந்தியாவிற்கு) எங்கே நிம்மதி போன்ற பல பாடல்கள் மூலம் 60 களில் கொண்டு வந்த பிதாமகனும் அவரே.

Whenever I hear this song, it touches a chord in me. There is an under current of melancholy throughout in this slow paced song. Wonderful rendition by deepashika . Shyam was just amazing today! These songs are treasures left by the legendary Kannadasan, MSV-TKR combine for posterity.

The song from "Vennira Adai" is a collective work and evey body has done his or her part to the maximum. Kudos to them. Sushela Amma' s emotional song under the music direction of Innovative MSV takes me back to my college days in the mid 1960s in Tiruch. I saw the flick at Coimbatore with others in my batch while on an educational tour. The film itself is a legacy of late director Sridhar, Kannadasan & late TN CM. Jayalalitha mam. It is one among the countless gems of Sushela Amma. Your choice of songs, a blend of new & vintage songs, is a new approach well organized by you. Thanks to your dedicated efforts.

Two great piano songs are there. One is this by MSV-TKR and the other is "paaduvor paadinaal aada thondrum" by MSV from "kannan en kaadhalen".
