The Embraer 300E goes for around $9.5M, it has a range of 2010 nm or 2313 miles, however why not go all in for the Embraer Praetor 600 which goes for around $21M and has a range of 4600+ miles, then if you wanna go super large in charge you could get the GulfStream G500 which goes for $45M however this super duper package includes a jet w/ a top speed of 708 mph and a range of 6099 miles. Either way all three can cross the Atlantic Ocean.
I'll tell you why- the 10% rule. Yearly costs are typically 10% of purchase price. So the 300E's annual costs are about $900k including pilots and fuel, where as a Praetor would be closer to $2million. A big Gulfstream is easily $5million. You are also limited to the airports you can use with the bigger airplanes. There's always a tradeoff.
I'm glad you enjoy it that way! That is the goal when editing these videos. I enjoy the sights and the sounds of all of my flights, and I love to share both of those things!
When flying “for hire” does the Phenom 300 require 2 pilots? I know it’s single pilot rated but I’ve never understand if that is just for non revenue flights or all flights.
From what I understand, the Phenom can be flown single pilot in all circumstances, but it is recommended that two pilots operate the aircraft when for hire, just for safety.
That question, I cannot answer. Every NetJets flight featured on the channel has been graciously gifted to my family and I. We do not ask about the cost.

Appreciate the mostly ambient sound and minimal music. Adds to the experience.
