I just came back to sea of thieves yesterday and it’s great to see how far it’s come during my absence. There’s so much to do now. I am not too good at interacting with people tho so I tend to sail solo. I had a cool meeting at one outpost yesterday tho where this dude was super friendly and helpful, he said he was friendly as I approached the dock, and I said I’m just smuggling chickens and he laughed. He said do you want me to move my shoip and I was like nah it’s all good I’ll go around it. Then SMASH. I crashed and before I could even react he was on my ship with a plank of wood offering to help while laughing. He warned me about a galleon nearby that’s sailing around sinking everything it sees. Then he sailed off. I didn’t have a chance to add him and didn’t catch his gt. The galleon then sank me 5 minutes later. Then later on I was at an outpost delivering cargo to the merchants, and another big azz ship sails up. I jumped around unarmed like a tool saying I’m friendly and just turning in a quest. And they shot at me. I tried to get the goods off the ship and to the customer but one of them jumped onto land and killed me while the other one sank my ship. One day when I get good I shall Become full pirate and give zero fcks about anyone. My problem is I’m too nice and prefer to help people than kill them. So I sail solo. If anyone is up for some adventure though join me on Xbox. I could use a hand
People fail to realize sea of thieves has years of progress out into it, it all comes down to the makers of Skull and Bones to commit and update the game. If they do so with time this game can become a real dope game. Nothing is perfect these days, they push release because the people demand it which causes crashes due to rushed work. I’m a get the game but after a couple months if I see updates on it.
@@williamsmith4443 Doesn’t matter, usually games will stay in development but again, they listen too much to the people and end up releasing unfinished gems. I ended up getting the game and man it’s pretty good. I see a lot of potential. If Ubisoft keeps updating it they’ll be good in time.
yea but considering sea of thieves has been out for awhile that means any other big brand name dev should be able to at least make a pirate game that could compete with SOT no other pirate game thats currently out can even compete with SOT it's un matched
My friend this game will die with the sound of a half inflated woopy coushin. They will not dump money into this game for updates and expansions. You’d be lucky to get a single bug fix in a years time
You think just cuz in sea of thieves you could get off your ship and fight and that you could walk around your ship and do things that makes it better lmao. It doesnt. Just like how terraria is better than minecraft and thats a 2d side scroller downgrade. More features dont mean better but its us older gamers that know that. The younger newer generation of gamers only care about how good the game looks and if you can kill others cuz thats what kids like to do now a days in games is kill other ppl. Skull and bones is more realistic and accurate, much better graphics, better more accurate combat that feels better and not as clunky.. like launching yourself from a canon lmao.
Skull and bones got way to much hate it's fun and it serves it's purpose as a pirate game. Community is friendly and there's always people online. I recommend it.
@@siddhantshiv8a311 i played sea of thieves more then 200 hours. ambience is amazing. one of the best. but fighting system, i dont like, all i did was run away from enemies
Agree the game is soo massive and fun especially with freinds just gotta understand the game sea of thieves still is one of my favorite games @TheWatcher20
Honestly outside of the facial animations and a few things here or there the graphics and assets are fairly solid. They need to work on character models but it's actually probably still some of the better models they've created. Their recent stuff hasn't always been... The best face wise (looking at you Valhalla). So if they took some bits for reuse, built on top of others and created new stuff I wouldn't mind. A complete clone isn't gonna cut it though due to the difference in gameplay etc.
Skull and bones is what sea of thieves could have been. Sea of thieves is a disgusting overly priced cartoony mess of a game with a dayz like premise of losing all your stuff once you die
The amount of shit you can do on sea of thieves is unreal for 60 bucks. And to think it started out as a free game before it came to console. Don’t see how skull and bones comes close
If they ever add personal combat to the game they should pull it from the old Pirates of the Caribbean Online game. That way the dumbasses from Sea of Thieves cant translate their skills across games and it adds to the MMO build crafting they're already doing with ship combat.
It has millions of people playing it every month, it’s gotten so big they actually have Jack Sparrow in the game in a five part story that’s canon to what happens after the fifth pirates movie, and they did a crossover with the Monkey island franchise and not to mention there originally story that’s on going and others amazing things to do
@@vfogie1984 art style ≠ graphics. But yeah, I agree it's not for everyone. I do like the graphics of snb a lot though.
And the winner is Assassin's creed 4 black flag

Nothing like it except in pirate theme water and ship
