well - half was indian references that I don't understand and if I don't take notes I forget what I want to say - otherwise I'm getting screamed at when I just pause a video - a girl cannot win #peace

As a citizen of Delhi I can say that's not true. That's just a stereotype for Delhi citizen that when they stare each other, fight broke out. There are a couple of videos of Delhi Metro like this. That is why people have started using it as a joke but ,that's not true for delhi people😂😂😂

In India eye contact with a smile is always welcoming, what Mr. Gupta was referring to, is staring for a long time 😂😂😂 don't worry you will get along, when I was in school in India I learnt basic French language in school, we had a choice for the 3rd language . Mr. Gupta is a standup comedian so they will exaggerate to make things funny. Indian women do enjoy wine too. We have one of the best wineries here in Nashik, Maharashtra SULA wine.

May be he just mentioned that smiling thing as a joke, even in India people smile when they look at each other, especially when they see a foreigner. In crowded streets, they dont smile because people are busy with their own work

I think in reference to bend and cycling, here in India while cycling they don't do so much bending while cycling, its that they see the events that are happening around while cycling, whereas in Europe when cycling they focus only on cycling and not on things happening around them i guess.
And i have seen in olden English movies and Europeean movies people don't bend so much as they do now in europe as fast cycling and in old movies i see people enjoying the scenary around them while cycling.

In Delhi, if someone is smiling or talking to you, it means either they are trying to scam you or they are curious(they are polite and nice) about you. Simple

Standup comedy is generally filled with Exaggeration of 1 negative event. Sometimes I feel sad that they use insults as jokes. Although, its hard to make people laugh, so can't complain about it.
Comedy is all about exaggeration for fun. Not everything in comedy is true, it just mixes 1% of some custome with some situation that exaggeration connects people as if true in life.
Best state in India is Maharashtra for tourists
In Maharashtra mumbai city is 24×7 open, means people doing their work continuously. And very friendly.

If you are going to India then don’t go to Delhi and Kolkata it’s very chaotic I recommend u Rajasthan, Mumbai, Goa, Vishakapatnam, Kerala, Hampi etc 😊

In india its more like avoid any conversation with stranger's😅.. But people usually interact with each other may not be like saying good morning to strangers walking in opposite directions in the walkway..
Indian people are welcoming nature so when we go to anywhere in India and ask them from where pickup bus train anything they will help us. Even though all over India has diversity of culture and language also.

It is actually a good tip if you want to avoid touts and unwanted taxis, riksha people. Just keep your head down and shake your head, and they will leave you alone immediately. If you make eye contact with them, they think you're interested and want to bargain with them.

Well, actually I have seen that those guys are much more persistent towards foreigners as compared to towards other Indians

French don't like English Bcoz they were adversaries in the past, I think.
they are not particularly friend - English like to be polite - opposite of what they perceive FR being.
In the North especially around Delhi, Agra, Varanasi, Haryana smiling without a reason is considered a bit awkward. Especially in Delhi. Delhi is rude. It’s kinda like New York when it comes to people’s attitude.
It’s not that every place in the North has a similar vibe. If you visit Rajasthan, Gujarat, Himachal, Uttarakhand, Leh, Ladakh, Kashmir in the North, people are way polite. Same goes for South.
If you’re visiting India I’ll suggest to stay away from the Golden triangle (Delhi, Agra/Varanasi, Jaipur). It’s crap and filled with tourist traps. Instead the best itinerary to explore India is to travel to the places below.
Desert/semi arid- Udaipur, Jaisalmer (it has the desert), Jaipur. These places are bathed in history.
Mountains- Dharamshala, Macleodganj, Leh, Ladakh
South- Mysore, Munnar, Goa, Pondicherry
Islands- Lakshwadeep, Andaman and Nicobar.
East- Darjeeling
There are many more but only these came to my mind 😅
Some places which are a must visit are Munnar, Lakshwadeep, Udaipur, Dharamshala, Andaman and Nicobar.

16:55 India is going through a Election phase for the next two months, there will lot of turmoil/strifes in certain states/provinces so Beware.
Also Indian summer would be too extreme(unless visiting Beaches in Goa) for traveling particularly for people acclimated to region between temperate and arctic zone.

It's impossible to get most of the jokes if you are not an Indian, mainly because of the double entendres as they are based in Hindi. Also European strangers almost never look at you and smile. At least not in Czech Republic 😂 It's considered invasion of personal space and hence rude.
