I loved Stephanie Beacham as Sable. She just flew in the role on The Colbys. They should never have cancelled it in my opinion. She’s a phenomenal actress, seen her on stage a few times. She’s such a lovely lady in real life.
This show must have been EPIC. I never saw it. I have seen all of DALLAS though. Love it too! These trailers are phenomenal! It makes me want to start watching this show!
Season 9 had a sad ending to an all-time great show! Except for the sniping and fighting between Sable and Alexis, the show was a disappointment in season 9.
The Reunion gave the show closure, Blake survived the shooting and Krystle recovered. Adam and Kirby found each other again, as well as Jeff and Fallon
@Dusk Hollow i agree season 9 brought back the show to it's glory day's from the first 6 seasons. If anything season 7-8 we're the worst seasons of dynasty history that killed this soap opera credibility. Season 9 was dynasty comeback but by then it was too late because the ratings went down the last 3yrs. The network rushed to judgment and cancelled it in season 9.
Season 9 brought the show back precisely to what made Dynasty glorious. They didn't just rely on the glamour and predictable plots. Instead they mined the show's history, and used character-driven conflict to let those stories play out. It was magnificent.
Collins said in more than a few interviews if there is a s10, she does not believe she will return as she believes her character has done it all.....In realty she became threatened when they brought Beacham on board n she was PISSED that she was written out of 9 episodes....Collins was paid way too much to not appear a team player n producers were pissed that she refused to appear on the Colby's b/c she felt it wld stretch the writers to thin, n it wld have a negative impact on Dynasty, which it did....S5 was a great season n dynasty ended the TV season has the #1 show...but season 6 was crappy...mny were disinchanted with the Krystle doppelganger storyline....I felt it cld have been a damn good storyline had they pushed the envelope n rita being the exact opposite of sweet Krystle..
