These people are fictional character and i'm so emotionally invested and attached to them in a way that I cant even explain. I have to constantly remind myself that it is a series show.
They tend to say tht such people are in a world of their own fantasy but I say that we are in a world of our own making.. One that others are usually too damn rationalistic to b able yp do..
Actually, there's an explanation for that. The human brain cannot differenciate between the emotions we have for fictional people and the emotions we have for real people. That's why we cry when our favourite fictional characters die, why we fear for our faves, why we feel so attached to them any why we occasionally forget that they are not, in fact, real. Especially if we have been with a set of character for a long time, either because a book, film etc. means a lot to us and we have seen it so many times, or because we've been following a series of books, a TV show etc. for a long time (15 seasons is definitely a long ass time) - our brain essentially registers all the emotions for those fictional characters in the same "box" as emotions for friends, family etc. IRL
I'm actually a couple of seasons behind, I'm near the beginning of season 10. But I kind of suspected there wouldn't be anything TOO spoilersy in this, and Garcia being drunk way more funny than I expected, and Reid's smile reaction was way brighter than I expected lol. I'm cheating, being here in season 11, but WORTH it ;D

They couldn't just bring Reid back to the show like normal people. No no, they had to put his life on the line, tell us about his mom getting worse, and then, when all we wanna do is hug him right at the end of it all, Morgan shows up and does it for us! This seriously tells me that other crime shows seriously need to step up their game.
The hug is made so much more special by how Savannah says earlier in the episode that she knows Spencer is not really the hugger type, while Spencer himself says something similar to Cat. Just shows how much he trusts Derek.... and how much he needed that hug.

I've seen clips of this series but never actually watched any episodes......I wish I knew then how good TV really was back then. It ain't nothing but merely a decade later.
