@@CoryPlaysBass guitars supposed to be fun why do so many cancel have to be so lifeless Also I recently ordered a mod shop strat so it be here in a few weeks
Thinking about doing this for my 30th. Can’t really justify the thousands it would cost me to build a custom shop jazz Bass. I play a CIJ jazz Bass now and I love it, seems backwards buying basically the same bass, but I’m a sucker for that sherwood green with a roasted maple neck 🤤 - Do you know if these are Nitro finished?
That sounds like an amazing combination! I totally would have gotten roasted maple if it was available at the time of my build! If you do get it, please shoot me a picture! As far as paint goes, I believe it's a polyurethane finish since they want to get it to you within 30 days and Nitro finishes can be picky while drying. I think they only use Nitro on their American Road-Worn and other special series of guitars and basses. Thank you for watching!
Hello there! You are given an exact invoice before you finish the transaction on Fender's website and also receive one through E-mail. Don't freak out like I did if you don't receive the E-mail right away! It may take a few days if they have a lot of orders. I had to call Fender during my order because two days later I didn't receive my digital invoice. They E-mail them out once they start working on the Mod Shop instrument. I hope this helps!
It depends. Spec-wise they run generally the same as the American Professional series, but with a slightly higher price tag. I am a customization freak so getting the color combo I did was a no brainer for me and was worth the extra money (I also had a 10% off coupon for getting an annual pass on Fender Play for my wife). It all depends on what you're looking for. I would recommend it 100% if you're looking to make a bass that is your own. :)
What's with the stupid shredder gtr music? Why didn't you tell us the specs on the neck? How it felt, if you liked the bass, how much it cost, how good the build was, etc.? C'mon, Cory, you left us hanging and I am still not sure if I want to order a Mod Shop P bass for myself. Help me out here!
I appreciate the honest criticism and feedback! As far as the Mod shop P bass goes, It is the best feeling and playing bass in my collection with a 9.5'' radius C shaped neck. It is built like a tank and has an amazing resonance even when played without an amp. It cost about $1,800 after tax with a discount that was applied for having Fender Play active at the same time as the purchase. I can only say, I hope you stick around for my future videos as I will be addressing these points with other basses. I had a chance to learn from the two that are currently on my channel :)
Disappointing video. No sound samples. You don't say how much it weighs or how well it balances. We have no sense of how good the result is except visually.
Awesome and congrats! Thanks for the video, the bass is just beautiful.
Thank you for watching! I really appreciate it!
This is my 2nd time watching this (I'm bored) and I love the goofy ah editing
Not enough meme humor in the guitar community on youtube
Thank you for watching! I agree with you. Sometimes people take it way too seriously :D

@@blood_red_sinnamon_official that is awesome! Congratulations! You need to let us all know where we can see pictures of it when you get it!

Oh this was good!
Hi! I want to give one of these. Was the price shown on an invoice, sheet, sticker or other in the package, or you just receive the digital invoice?

Nice I'm planning to go this route myself because I want a Sherwood green with black pickguard and the vintage reversed tuners.
That sounds beautiful! Let me know when you get it because now I need that in my life!
So would you recommend the mod shop?

Can I have that?!
For you my friend, only $3000!
