I actually have tried cricket before! I was in Mexico and they sold it. I agree with you, had I not known it was cricket, I wouldn't know it from the taste or crunch. Mine was very spicy with that mexican spice.

I ate hachinoko when I was a child. I felt it was nice. However, now as a grown-up person, I may not be able to eat it.
