It has been brought to my attention that the 1.6 petrol engine is not "a turbo", and indeed it isn't. It's naturally aspirated. My honest mistake, when I saw under the hood I assumed it was a turbo 32:26 (bottom black intake) but it's not. Ther for I stand corrected. Many thanks for the comments that pointed it out.
Getting mine in September in Valencia Orange, already ordered it. Drove brilliantly on the test drive, looks epic too. I would have got another Fiesta but Ford has lost the plot and dscontinued Fiesta. I think this is a much better car and drives as good as the Fiesta, but has better style all round and a superior cabin. The hybrid technology is great too. Cant wait to get mine. The colour is crazily good in Valencia Orange.
Thanks for the video. Very detailed. Nice you can compare to the pre facelift model. One question 94 bhp from a 1.6 4 cyl is quite low are you sure its turbo charged as that sounds more like a NA output ?
It is not turbocharged. The petrol engine delivers 94 hp, the electric motor delivers 49 hp, so 143 (not 145) combined. I have the same setup in my Captur, it is really smooth and plenty powerful. Also because torque from the electric motor is 205 Nm, instantly available.
Esprit Alpine pronounced with a silent T translates to 'Spirit Alpine', as it's not a true Alpine but a top spec trim level for Renault models. I work for Renault/Alpine and very much looking forward to driving one of these as a company car, in sport mode of course. :) Sorry if you mentioned it but no review I've seen mentions how to switch on the heated seats and steering wheel?
Im a tall guy and the downside of my legs dont sit totally on the drivers seat. The seats are not enough regulated in height. Making it unconfortable to drive long distances. Other details I dont like, we cant really shut the air vents, that allows the entry of bad smells when we are driving. Cant turn off the lights at night when the car is on and parked, they are auto lights.
This is a problem with auto industry but also general problem of standard which is slowly adopting to generally increased average hight of a person. Car seats are too short for anyone 200cm you need to buy an SUV/CUV. Seats in a BUS or Airplane also short head rest come to your shoulders no knee room.
I hate cars with cramped back seats. I have a small car, it is done properly and people sit normally behind me when I drive. I'm 6'2" and the driver's seat is pushed back, but there is space. I can see here, that's not the case.
Wow kind of disappointed how less premium it does feel in comparison to the Peugeot 208 especially throughout the enterior despite Clio is an all new 2024 model...
I drive the 2023 E-tech enginereed (pre-facelift) and the interior is much better, even the rear seats get the same materials on the doors as the front. Same with more styling elements.

The B mode brakes on the electic motor, not the regular brakes nor the petrol engine. So that's the different. It is meant for recuperation.
cannot wait till I get mine

It’s not 94bhp. It’s 143bhp
Well the hybrid version is anyway.

After checking again, it is actually naturally aspirated and not a turbo. My mistake, comment pined.

I have Nissan JUKE with the same engine. Only difference is that I done not have that B option on transmission.

I got this version in the uk and it doesn’t come with a 360 degree camera 😢
Yeah, I've ordered one and agree - bummer that there's no 360 camera.
