Connecting the tv to comic cannon is why DC is the greatest ip ever created. Infinite universes mean everything is cannon so connecting the two works perfectly.

It should also be mentioned that the DC Streaming Service also has most of the comics and animated shows as well, meaning this version of Mr Nobody could interact with any continuity he pleased...
He could have Razer show up as a Blue Lantern, rewrite him into Blackest Night or blink Aya to safety at the last moment...
And that's just scratching the surface, assuming he really could control it.
Yeah Mister Nobody is very powerful at the moment lol. One of the strongest characters in DC.

- Only capable of planetary devastation and conquering a singular universe
- Got dunked on by Thor and couldn't stop the Beyonders from murking their universe as well as their entire race

- Built the multiverse itself as well as the concept of humanity
- power threatens everything, universal space-time included
- compared to the Presence aka God

cliffs reactions in the show kinda make him more human than the others imo
A big part of Cliff's character is that your humanity is not defined by your physicality. A lot of his character arcs about individuality and what it means to be human. I think he was intended to be the most human lol. So it sounds like it worked.
The show is literally my favourite comic book live-action thing ever. Though Swamp Thing and Joker come close. Legion was also a contender but after season 2's ending and the entirety of season 3, idk. Legends of Tomorrow was also pretty great and Pennyworth is brilliant.
Let’s hope for more seasons of Doom Patrol and an uncanceled Swampthing show.

I'm waiting on Season 2 to see if Clara goes searching for Cliff. After he returned Bump's watch, I seen she became curious of who her real father was. Plus when he grabbed her hand, you could see they had a connection.
I was waiting for Cliff and Clara to actually have a conversation about everything for most of season 1 lol. Hopefully we get it later this year when season 2 comes out.

Basically they were using the shape of the pentagon to channel power in through the 5 points and Flex wanted to stop that.

Rita Farr/Elastiwoman is actually an original member of the Doom Patrol from their first appearance in the 1960's.

In terms of power feats, I'd also like to add that Negative Woman was once able to one-shot Pre-Crisis Superman in an issue of DC Showcase (which, incidentally, was also the debut of Ambush Bug). Though I don't know how much that counts towards current canon, since it is of course Pre-Crisis.
The original pre-crisis/golden age Doom Patrol is canon to Grant Morrisons Doom Patrol which is itself canon to the Modern Gerard Way Doom Patrol so it would be applicable. I just didn't include things like that because honestly they are pretty low end feats for the negative spirit and most of the Doom Patrol in general lol.

This is why I love Doom Patrol, it’s not afraid to get wacky with their heroes/villains to make an interesting and wonderful world that puts the main DC universe to shame
That is the same reason I dislike them. Call me biased, but I feel like a lot of the characters are powerful for the sake of beeing powerful without it additig to the strory. i know they mean well and that is probably not their intent, but a lot of it feels like a parody of the Complex and deep thought out multiverse of DC.
Again, I know that they are trying to make an Entertainment story, but for me, that type of storytelling does not work for me, especially when I compare it to the rest of the DC universe
For me, they are far too goofy or silly to enjoy. They give me this childish "nuh-uh, my hero is better because they can do everything!" vibe. ^^'

Hence Censoring Superman into Milkmanman and Batman into Father Bruce of the House of Bat. As well as other heroes and villains censored to fit the quota.

mr nobody at his best would stomp. you have to take in the multiple layers of outerversal to understand why. but to sum up, the entire dc omniverse from the smallest level (micro verse) to the highest levels 6th dimension/ source wall/final Heaven, all exist below the overvoid which is essentially the blank page that dc exists on, and even then, the retconn corporation exits above the overvoid perceiving it as an actual blank page. by being on par with beings from the retconn corporation, mr nobody is VASTLY superior to everyone and everything within the dc omniverse which includes dr manhattan. thus, a fight between the two wouldn't even be a fight at all. its like saying can a drawing of a human fight an actual human.

Holy cow!! I’ve always liked the Doom Patrol but never read any of it, so many of the wacky ideas and characters are ripped straight from the books!! That’s insane, they really did their homework. I dunno why but I expected a lot of the creative choices made to be original and a lot of them are but so much is adapted and adapted well I might add.

Why does Crazy Jane (Doom Patrol) seem very similar to Legion (Marvel Comics)? They both have multiple personalities and each personality has their own powers.
I feel lots of similiarity between this group and umbrella academy
The coom patrol, it's the same characters but pale in skin tone, sunken eyes, and one of thier arms is a lot bigger than the other.

@@van8510 from my understanding it's an infinitely layered structure with each layer view the layer under it as fiction and all of the DC continuity is just one of these layered which isnt really a character per say it also raises a question of omnipotence being a real thing in the verse

Flex Mentallo would have no issues playing monster hunter, infact he would make the monster fear hurting him incase he used an item to heal.
