Hey Chip, I really like seeing what you have going on. You and your guys build top rides one after another. Thanks for taking the time to share the process. You are a living legend.
That is a beautiful paint color Chip! Always a joy to see you doing your thing!!! Stay Blessed 😇🤗✡✝ No joke, I painted my Master Bathroom so close to this color with expensive Behr copper accent paint & it is phenominal... It never gets dated IMO
Really cool to see a legend like that get on his back and work like the guys. Also it’s obvious he works with everyone very calm, a rare sight these days.
That color is awesome gonna look great I'm not normally a two tone paint guy but on the older cars it fits and looks right can't wait to see it finished !
Hello Foose.. I am Naji Jassim from Iraq. I am a fan of your art and your beautiful drawings. I have been following you for 4 years, the beginning was on National Geographic and now on UA-cam.. Greetings to your fine person.
boit time someone addressed how colors DON'T match when painting parts away from each other..... I can tell when doors & fenders are painted off the car - the variant is different
rule number 1, NEVER sand bondo inside a spray booth... rule number 2, if there's a wave in the panel, especially an older car with heavier steel, it is NOT coming out when you bolt the fender on the body... if you really think it will then take the time and bolt it on the body and make sure... rule number 3, when painting a stripe down the side of a car, ALWAYS paint all the panels at the same time, especially with a metallic... too many factors can affect the layout of the metallic particles such as temperature, humidity, air pressure, distance from the panel, speed of application, et.
Elon, y'all can take that ugly piece of crap EV Tesla truck and any other EV, cause they ain't never gonna compare to the absolute works of art that vintage cars are. Then you add masters of their trades like Chip Foose and all his amazing crew and it ain't even in the same reality. Truly a masterpiece being built. Love the perfection.
I'm not sure but being from Australia and lucky enough to visit his shop in 2009, he is a real down to earth guy and it was a pleasure to meet him at his shop in L.A, and his merchandise art shirts he sells are quality.
Nothing better than watching true professionals at work! 💪👍🏼

That tip about clearing the gutters last was particularly interesting.

Thanks for doing these
Absolutely LOVE the color !
Nice work !
Super super excited for this project
Good job sir with your team!👏
I was more than surprised to see body work being done in a paint booth!!!!
Very common . Owned a shop 23 years now. Finding a wave after basecoat , especially on a black car , is common. You have to do what you have to do.
The work is great but also, thanks for the sound and lighting and production…. Very well done and very enjoyable to watch. 👏

The Metallic Copper - a la late 1950s Corvette/Chevy/GM Barris Custom is the Killa Color Choice for this car !
Great Color....
Un abrazo maestro.
Cool! He has his own paint booth.
I would love to see Chip do a 1965 Buick Riviera or a 1961-1964 Lincoln Continental Custom
3:48 Chip's gettin ready to rub another one out.
My billion dollar lottery ticker winner would have been Chip Foose working on my dream car. A true professional
Foose reminds of my old boss and mentor taught me to much lol
Tasty salmon color almost.
The last time i painted a car was in the early 90 how much has the paint changed and the Quality of the paint guns
👍👍
Hi

Keep Good job 😊
Chip Foose гениальный дизайнер в мире автотюнинга😁👍
Is that color water-borne or solvent?
Nice paint job, how much?

Where did this Desoto come from? I wish Chip Channel would post more.
Do you guys put a little "extra" resin mixed into the bondo? For flo/ fill and ease of working material?
Like Bondo honey ? Stay away from it - it tends to shrink/swell easier.... just use Dolphin glaze
There using Polyester Evercoat brand EZ sand
The 3M glaze flows just like this, pretty sure foose is only using the best materials so I bet it’s 3M it looks just like it
I can't even imagine what body and paint on this vehicle would cost... beautiful.
is the whole body copper ?
Wonder what he would do to a ford consul mk2. Could do with lowering and rear arch opening up . Colour on the build is nice.
KİNG

Putting bog on at all, then putting it on in your paint booth.......only one thing to say

Doing body filler work in the spray booth? Very very bad.

This Chip guy is more an automotive contractor. Never saw him do any of the work. I hope he doesn't call himself a builder.

I'm sure he's a nice guy.@@johndicarlo225
