YESSSSS I FINALLY DEFEATED THE INTRO BOSS!!! LOL. Edit: I’m back 4 years later and I can say I completed the game about two years ago 😂😂 how times change. Feckin awesome game
If you're new and you're thinking "this game is too hard" I don't blame you. When I first started i literally uninstalled it and stopped playing after repeatedly dying on the first boss of the game. Then I said fuck it and tried again a couple weeks later, and I still died over and over. But then I looked up this walk through and saw how easily this guy was going through the game. So it gave me the confidence and eventually I was able to beat the boss and I'm able to play the game without dying every time I meet an enemy now and actually having a blast playing. What I'm saying is, don't give up if you're having a hard time. It's tempting to just quit but if you keep at it eventually you'll get better and enjoy the fuck out of this game and appreciate it more. These walkthroughs are super helpful.
7 years later after rage quitting at the Cursed Greatwood, I'm finally playing again. Either I'm just really bad at the game or it's total vullshit because it's taken me a week just to get passed the abyss watchers.
After beating Elden Ring with you I didn't want our adventure to end. I just bought DS3 today and I am ready to go through another epic adventure with you. You are truely the best!
Out of curiosity what do you guys think of it in comparison? IMO this game shares nearly every amazing quality that Elden Ring has, except in a far more condensed & linear package. I almost prefer it thematically, as well. In ER your playthrough is whatever you make it, which directions you head, but here everything is a little more masterfully crafted through the path they send you down.
Having played through all these games before elden ring came out, I definitely have my biases, but I wonder if it feels like a downgrade if elden ring was your first fromsoftware game

Cowboy! Here after you helped me through DS1, seeing you have a DS3 walkthrough is like seeing an old friend at a bonfire lol. Thanks for your work man
@Katsuhira you do have to play it for a while though. Some, like myself found it extremely difficult initially but after many hours played you do find it easier and you understand better how to beat the bosses. The biggest thing to understand is that you need to stay close to most enemies and dodge and roll and time your attacks. Your first instinct, when new to the game, is to stay far away because you're overwhelmed by the speed and strength, particularly of the bosses - but really you have to stay close.
around 6 years ago i used all this videos to play my walkthrough, to which i ended playing around 400hr and reached lvl 350+ i believe NG+9 or something like that, i lost that save, havent played since then, today, im starting anew, thank you sir for this journey!
It does feel like a genuinely fresh experience, and I'm equal parts delighted and disgusted with myself to find my ass handed to me by yet another shit lord enemy, even though I've been with the souls series since DS1. The only change I definitely don't like is that monsters and bosses will block your vision to their attacks way more than they did in DS1 and 2 (think those massive shadow snake heads for example). It's the one thing I hate about Blood Borne bosses, and I guess it was bound to find its way into DS3.
I’m watching the entire walkthrough again after doing 3 playthroughs, not to do another, but to bring back some good memories. Love you cowboy, always my main man when it comes to souls games.

Anyone who dies multiple times attempting a boss, a few tips. 1, never get greedy and always roll. 2, if youre stuck and cant get any further just walk away for a break and come back to it. I cant tell you how many times thats helped me destroy a boss in one attempt after failing 5 plus times.
Man it’s been so long since I watched this, after completing Dark souls 3 I went to do the entire trilogy. Thank you for helping noobs with your guides.
On my first attempt at this game, I went in completely blind, and chose the Thief class. It murdered me, I barely managed to get to the first boss. Second attempt, I chose Knight, because my friends recommended it. Went okay, but I took a long break from the game, cause I still kinda sucked and the rage quit was reeeeal. I am now on my third attempt. I chose Knight. I watched some youtube videos, browsed some forums, and I can definately say that I've dropped my ego when it comes to this game, and it has made me improve. I accomplished more on the first two hours of my third attempt than I ever did on the first one, and that was a good 10 hours of me sucking. The best advice I have for you is acknowledge the fact that this game laughs last, and will kick your ass, period. The only thing you can do to improve is be attentive and accept that you are gonna die. A lot.
I chose the thief class too, mostly bc it looks cool. The boss wasn’t hard for me, but that’s probably because I’ve played bloodborne already. But that katana dude is kicking my ass..might cheese it the way he did in this video

I really enjoy following them both for their accuracy and the occasional laugh due to the gameplay outcome combined with your commentary. I am about to finish the game with your help and then onto the DLCs. Thank you FightinCowboy and keep the good work up :)
I was a noob to Dark souls but always wanted to play. I bought all 3 and started playing using cowboy's walkthroughs. I'm proud to say that I just beat the Nameless King on my literally 160th try. I was able to finish all 3 games and I owe so much to these walkthroughs for showing me how to complete them. Thanks so much Cowboy!!!
watched your walkthrough for Dark Souls 1 as i was playing it while waiting for the Bar Exam results. It kept me sane and accept whatever the results may be. I passed. and currently on my 2nd year of practice and am using your walkthrough once again. I actually started before and went as far as fire shrine link and opted a strength build as warrior.
I have gotten the platinum trophy for all Soulborne games and finished them all multiple times. Still I watch your walkthrough series. They're so chill to watch and listen to
Dude, big ups for doing another run. Been spam-watching your first 24 episodes over the past few hours and I gotta say, ur my new fav let's play channel. totally digging all your funny banter while you play, had me lol'ing quite alot. Keep it up dude, looking forward to the rest ^^
Anyone watching it in 2019 should understand it is first release version and a lot was changed since then. Some weapons nerfed or upgraded some bosses like that first dude now have more HP etc etc. Good luck. I am about to play it again with all DLC's.
Coming from a long time fan of the DS franchise and being an original lover of Demon Souls ( I'm talking years of playing these games). Your complete walk throughs are legit the best I've ever come across. I just recently found your channel by playing the remastered DS when I got stuck with New Londo and realized I should have watched it before even starting. Being re-inspired to replay the the 3rd DS game I made it a priority to find your playlist. Thank you for the awesome work and love for the game.
I discovered your Dark Souls 3 videos while studying for an enormous exam in summer 2017, and they help my fascination during study breaks as I watched your first playthrough of DS3, transfixed. I eventually bought an Xbox and DS3 - I don’t have a lot of time to play, so it’s taken me a while, but yesterday I finally killed Slave Knight Gael and have finished my own playthrough of DS3. Thank you for your content and your passion for these games; I wouldn’t have found that world without your work.
Man I know it sounds corny but you have no idea how many people benefit emotionally from these walkthroughs. It's like hanging out with one of your friends.
Cowboy this game is a handful! Played Elden Ring as my first Souls game but this is way more challenging. Love this walkthrough even if I’m years late, lol!
You are amazing man, you helped me get into this franchise about a decade ago and now I'm patiently waiting for elden ring DLC after playing every DS game, I owe you so much. Thanks for everything.
Gate Cruor, no offense, but how is dark souls 1 harder? I played DS 1 and 2 and now playing 3 and DS 1 is a lot more simple than 3. No need to worry about missing anything, invading NPC are easy to kill(unlike DS3 that NPC that have prefect timing and infinite magic and they use flask a lot more), and if you're ok with cheating, you can do a boss soul glitch and get all the souls you want. Hopefully I didn't sound rude, and maybe there are things i didn't take into account, so please tell me. Edit: Also I'm not saying DS3 being is harder is bad, just that I can't see DS1 being the harder one of the two.
I have to say, this is the best walkthrough I've seen for a game. Especially one that is so difficult. FightinCowboy's narrative and commentary is very simple and precise. I am thoroughly enjoying Dark Souls 3 now. Thanks for all the help man. I'm only 4 episodes in on your walkthrough but I know I will have no difficulty defeating this game now. I am very surprised at how casual and calm he stays while watching his play throughs. Haha.
You are a leader to all the new players playing dark souls 3 for the first time, needing a little help at any point in the game, what a beautiful thing to see 😊
Hey Cowboy, I keep coming back to your videos and guides every time a souls game arrives, and just thought I'd let you know I appreciate your laid-back atttitude and helpful style - keep up the good work, my man! :-) (I know the release was like a century ago, but I just bought the game now, in anticipation of the free time I'll have around Christmas and New Years^^)
hey man, just to say thank you so much for the walkthrough videos :). I watched the ds3 catacombs video because I was getting very frustrated in that area, and at the end I decided to start watching your videos from the beginning to make sure I didn't miss anything. Your videos are not only useful, they make me feel as if I am playing in the company of somebody and your great humour and optimism really helped me. thank you for being a great person :) can't wait to start the DLCs too.

Got the game again recently after playing through Bloodborne a few times and DS2, the game is still difficult and I have little idea on where to go coming back to it after my disc stopped working more than a year ago. For all the people wanting to pick up the game and are on PS4, it is currently on sale on the store. It is 75% off and the sale lasts until April 28th 2021. I highly recommend it and all the Souls games. Thank you cowboy for your awesome content, you helped me through Bloodborne, DS2 and now DS3!

watched your walkthrough for Dark Souls 1 as i was playing it while waiting for the Bar Exam results.
Keep it up dude, looking forward to the rest ^^
lmao i like how he said "lets just grab the uchikatana" like hes picking up an item from a corpse, what a badass
This guy makes it look easy. I'm still stuck on the first level and I've tried a few times, but the first boss always gets me.
The katana mf who’s just a regular as dude with a katana is somehow harder than the boss and I’m struggling
I quit Elden Ring at the Dog in the Academy. Couldn't go on
Not surprising, Elden Ring is the easiest by far.
@@Vex-iy8zmDark souls 1 is definitely easier
You’re very good at explaining things and your voice is easy to listen to for long periods of time, this helped me beat the intro boss finally lol
You are amazing man, you helped me get into this franchise about a decade ago and now I'm patiently waiting for elden ring DLC after playing every DS game, I owe you so much. Thanks for everything.
I'm only watching this to make sure I didnt miss anything
me too
You need some time to self reflect then
I'm watching because I can't find my way around this. I'm too used to the first Dark Souls
Nairobi 123 you suck
Just beat Sekiro using your walkthrough, thought I'd finally give DS a go too! :D
Same here! I hope its not too much having to adjust to not being able to parry
But the weapon he start with is it normal to do this much damage this early in the game ?
same! How do you like DS3?
I have to say, this is the best walkthrough I've seen for a game. Especially one that is so difficult. FightinCowboy's narrative and commentary is very simple and precise. I am thoroughly enjoying Dark Souls 3 now. Thanks for all the help man. I'm only 4 episodes in on your walkthrough but I know I will have no difficulty defeating this game now. I am very surprised at how casual and calm he stays while watching his play throughs. Haha.
Thank you for helping me through the first 2 dark souls and sekiro; now it is time to finish the DS series.
(I know the release was like a century ago, but I just bought the game now, in anticipation of the free time I'll have around Christmas and New Years^^)
SO EXCITED!!! Cowboy's Dark Souls 3 Walkthrough is here.
I died atleast 100 times before finishing this video, thanks!!
hey man, just to say thank you so much for the walkthrough videos :).
8 years later, and after beating all new game +’s, I can confirm this walkthrough is THE BEST for helping new and experienced players
I 100% DS 1 and 2 then got hit by a drunk driver on my motorcycle while stopped at a light. Well, four years later and 4 surgeries on my right arm and hand I'm back baby! Jumping right in the deep end, 1st game I've played since late 2016. Wish me luck.
Wow man, hope everything's alright for you! Enjoy the game.
I'm playing with you bro! Good luck!
I really seems like this is much more your style of play you seem much more self confident with it then the pyromancer
+SnowCrash that and also because it was blind, now he's got experience aswell. :)
SnowCrash than*
o
That’s cause he’s guts
Oh shit here we go again. I just finished DS1 for the first time a couple of hours ago and now I'm Gonna start DS3.
Good luck, I was one the same page but I finished 2 second and I'm on 3 now I love watching cowboy to learn everything pretty much
@@AnotherStudent96 I can't find my copy of ds2 so I'm skipping it for now. I don't think I would have done half as well as I did if not for cowboys videos he's really good.
I'll straight up buy you a copy, if you promise to play it. We need a bigger fanbase and there's a lot of misconception about it. It's my favorite.
@@cherkovskystrokenov appreciated man but I've now got the scholar of the first sin edition and played through it a few times. I dont get the hate for ds2. I mean its different sure but it's still a great game I love it.
I can’t believe it’s been 5 years. This video helped me out so much when I played this for the first time
I just found this after watching the elden ring walkthroughs and I have to admit that I'm re downloading the game so I can beat it finally. You are a saint among sinners and I thank you. Praise the sun
Me: Watches a couple of Cowboy's videos.
Also me: This looks great and like something I can play, I'll get it.
Dark Souls: You fool
Damn dude. Your Sekiro walkthrough was so great. Thanks for that! But this has my head absolutely spinning. I’m more confused with all the info just vomited at me than I was when I started the game blind. Geeeeeeezus
*That reads like I’m talking shit. Not my intention. That 20 min just flipped my lid lol
FightinCowboy: "...and kill these guys...."
Me: "ok"
Me 5 seconds later: "You died"
Just lost all my DS3 save files, figured it would only be appropriate to have my first new one a cowboy walkthrough since my first one was with cowboy. I can finish the whole game in just a few hours these days but might as well take my time and enjoy the walkthrough again. Thanks cowboy.
If you kill the guy on the throne he will drop a ring. As far as I can tell there's no negative effects. He respawns when you use the campfire.
What's the ring do?
I think there is a negative effect, I think a boss spawns or something.
It makes it easier to be detected by enemies.
Emjay Sanjose lol
I think it took me about 30 minutes and multiple deaths to kill Index G. I think I had 20,000 souls from just killing the hollows in between attempts
Here I am, two years later.... I’m finally ready DS3, let’s do this
Leeeeroy Jeeenkins
You sir have single handedly helped me through my dark souls journey. thank you for all the good moments and tips.
Dark Souls 3 was by far the Hardest out of all the SoulsBorne games, this guide is excellent.
14:51 that dog jump scared the fuck outta me when he jumped out at me. 😅😂
22:32 "Trade boss souls to level up." *Gives me conniptions...*
Hey, love the videos! I have a noob question (first Dark Souls experience) how do you "buff" your axe? Thanks in advance.
Press your back left bumper
I have played all souls games which I love. now after our journey through Elden ring together and 100% the game. I'm back to go through all the souls with you and your walkthroughs! thank you, good sir! I found you way back at the beginning of the Lords of the fallen.
One of the best UA-cam walkthroughs I’ve watched helped me out a lot over the years
I can't even beat the first boss
Keep trying.
you most likely did it by now.
Right after I put the comment I best him
The Daily Game git gud casual
OoElectric4EveroO agreed, dark souls 2 is easy as fuck.
The Daily Game git Gud
Can't even defeat the crystal beast this game is hard as shit
Steven Bell lead it to the cliff and it will most likely fall and die, giving an easy 4000 souls
Steven Bell lead it to the cliff and it will most likely fall and die, giving an easy 4000 souls
Steven Bell not really ur just a casual 😂
Steven Bell this is the worst walkthrough fuck him
His game is rigged. The beast does no damage on him when compared to mine.
I’m barley getting back into these games. Rage quit bloodborne years ago, came back and platinumed it. Got demons souls and used cowboys walkthrough guidance in areas to platinum that. Now I’m looking at ds3. Anybody still play these? I need friends. 😂😂😂😂
I am but I'm on PC
@@hopedespair9398 ah dang. I would assume it’s not cross platform right? I’m on ps5
Its funny you carried me through elden ring like a sensei and i bought this to follow your guide again and your voice is so much younger i had to check if it was the right channel lmaoo
Started Sekiro four days ago and finished it today. Now we’re starting DS3. Your guides have been a big help. 😁👍🏻
Does trying to look like Gutz mean you're going to find a really frickin' big sword!?!?
3:19 When a dark souls fan see this he knows that is gonna stuck at this boss fight for days.
then there's always gonna be sum dick that devalues all the struggle you went thru and goes, "iT wAsNt hArD bRo. i BeAt iT 1St tRy!!!" -_-
i attacked the knight in Firelink Shrine and now he attacks me everytime i get there so he just kills me everytime i get near him :_:

Pov: it’s 2021 and dark souls 3 is £10 on steam
Nah I've had the game since 2018 and beat it about 10 times I'm just watching this to see if I've missed anything
duh its not even worth $1 in my opinion
@@hircine92hWhat! How?
Git gud @@hircine92h
I finally got to play this today, on the release, and he was a HUGE pushover on Knight. He killed me 8 times on Claric....
+Bryan Prater I used the pyromancer first and had to use cheap "fireball him 20 times tactics" because i really wanted to see what he dropped, and because i was pissed he killed me like 4 times. Then i made an assassin and stunlocked him with pokes and didn't even get hit since he has no poise
U wot m8? A walkthrough with spoilers? WTF!
k.
*dies*
+AnonymMC thats why its called a walkthrough.. and thats why he TOLD us that it is a WALKTHROUGH
Sweet, sweet irony...
+AnonymMC Sarcasm is always under-appreciated.
I have returned, last time I was here, I was DGGaming1987, now I've come back to the guide that helped me with what feels like so long ago. Thank you, dear friend, for having the kind of heart to assist those like myself, who knee naught of what they were doing.
After completing your DS1 walkthrough I’m ready to tackle DS3… okay alright you got me I need help I’m here for it!!
I know it was just a slip of the tongue but you said you can give Lodleth boss souls to level up when you meant to say you can get him to turn your boss souls into special weapons.
Hi bro, just a simple question, how do you manage to do walkthoughs so fast? Do you get the games ealier? Any piece of advice it will help me a lot.. thanks
+FiGhTiNCoWBoY Ohhh I see, I love your Walkthroughs , I try to do mine in Spanish but I feel like always got behind, I really need some advices from you if you can, I'll really appreciate it, you have a new sub, awesome work I like your style
+FiGhTiNCoWBoY Hey man, I know I might be a bit late but could you tell me how to do that stomp move with your warrior character? Does it make you stronger or more resistent?

Thanks for making these - after Elden Ring I started with Demon Souls series and your videos are amazing.
