I am a 15 year old high school student looking at the trades and I have a question. I understand that a trade school you will have to pay for, but you learn the trade from scratch. Everyone says an apprenticeship is much better because of the salary and better experience, but can you get into an apprenticeship with no experience at all?
@@CHASA i live in michigan and I can say that apprentices here are very respected. It depends on your exact industry though. I work in advanced manufacturing. I think all over the country you are going to see a need for apprentices because skilled trades have not been encouraged and older people who filled those positions are retiring soon. I believe its everywhere.

Don't waste your time and money with college dude. Biggest mistake of my life. I wish I found someone who does apprenticeship in programming.
