To begin with the table looks amazing!! I wanted to check in one of your beginners video you used varnish. In this you have used wax. Which one is better?
Thankyou!!☺️😘😘 So from all the sealants I tried, I'd say use lacquer or varnish for surfaces that you would use daily and would come in touch with water like table tops. For other surfaces u can seal with wax. Wax definitely gives a better chalky finish.
All three are sealers but they give a different finish. I love the wax finish the best but if ur surface is going to be used a lot it's best to seal it with something more water resistant. Lacquer is like a white liquid which almost dries clear. It gives a more natural finish to the chalk paint than varnish. Varnish can look glossy and u may lose the chalky look of chalk paints.
Hello Dhivya! Came across your channel as I was looking for some chalk paint tutorials! Loved how your pieces turned out! I had a couple of general questions! Since you mentioned that one doesn't require too much of the paint, what did you do with the remaining paint? Does it stay good for a few months? What is the shelf life? Asking because the Anne Sloan chalk paint is a little expensive. Would not want it to go waste!

Glad you liked them. 🙂 You can store the paint in air tight containers. If it dries out u can pour some warm water and mix and it's ready for use.
How do you wash the paint brushes after the work is done?
Yesss, it easiest if u wash them right after you are done. Else u may need to soak them for while in warm water
Wow it’s so beautiful. Is it for sale ?
Thankyouuu. Yes it for sale. But for u, u can give me furniture I'll paint for free. 😁
