I'll address the elephant in the room !.
What have Lagoon done about the bulkhead issue in these later models ?
Hey Wiley - your videography is getting better and better!
Thanks Bob!
Stellar presentation
Thanks Chad.
Great video Wiley! Your video production is exceptional!
Thank you Bill. How'd you think Peter did on the video?
@@catamarancentral Peter did great, but you need to fire your script writer. Not a single "Quick pano" to be found in this video. 🙂
Great Walkthrough Guys!
Thanks Amanda.
How long can I use the air conditioner by the generator?
How hard is it to raise the mainsail? With the bimini the mainsail is pretty high. Do you have to climb up top of the bimini to reach the sail bag?
Super easy. The main halyard runs back to the helm to an electric winch.
@@catamarancentral How do you undo the lazy jack straps before raising the mainsail? It would seem you have to climb up on the hard Bimini.
I’ve got my lotto ticket 🤞
Wiley, Lovely boat and very swish video but, sort of, miss the hand held quick pano. That said the underway shots are a nice addition and welcome aboard to Peter. How would she be in light winds? Also is there any chance Lagoon will produce a 46 sport top to replace the now aged 450S? As ever fair winds.
I own a 450S and to my knowledge Lagoon isn't planning to build a 46 SporTop. Keep in mind they built over 900 450 Fly versions and only 160 SporTop versions, so the latter wasn't a big focus for Lagoon. If you don't want a flybridge Lagoon, you'll have to go with the 42.
@@johndavison Thank you John. I think you are right. Enjoy your boat and fair winds.
I think your assessment is correct. Also, one of the big brand differentiators between Lagoon's and Excess catamarans is the flybridge. A sport top would cannibalize the Excess brand, which quite frankly wouldn't be a bad thing...
@@catamarancentral Hi Wiley, thank you so much for your reply. A shame as I love the sport top and loathe fly bridges. Thus a 46S would be a bit of a dream boat to my eye. Fair winds.
😊 Confortable but not luxurious, never display a rich texture of fabrics and materials, functional but without emotions that stems from speed and stiffness, require a lot of physical effort because it lacks technology such as electric furler, furling boom, yacht controller with bowthruster. This what i really think about lagoon and this will never change. As there are catamaran for the premuim high end sailors, there are those designed for the mass like Lagoon. It has something to do with pedigree, theatrical design and refinement along with the sens of adventure in beautifull, sleek and fast saling experience.
Thank you Wiley for the videos.
Fair point, and from a technology standpoint there are far more advance boats. Ultimately, I think for most catamaran buyers pricing dictates which route they go. Price versus Pedigree.
Still for sale or what did she sell for?
She’s still available. Drop Peter Obetz an email, and he’ll answer any questions.

I will, thanks
Just tried and the email didn’t go through?? Just was curious how many hours are in the engines and generator

Nooooooooooo!!!! What happened to the quick pano??? :)
Really nice presentation, Fair Winds!!
That's a damn good question ;). We need to come up with a tag line for Peter.
On a Lagoon 46, Lagoon should be ashamed of that salon sliding door configuration.
Why is that?
who named this boat ? a 3 year old ? How embarrassing ...
You have to kind of laugh.
@@catamarancentral if i was 12 yeah i prob would, but gets old quickly for a boat
I guess I'm still 12 at heart ;)
Well I guess your not going to like mine then "Dunrootin"🙄
@@RGF56 thats ok
Still waitin on that gunboat vid Wiley😢
What about that HH50 video I just posted ;)
