It's not aggressive bc there still isn't many options to choose for each element. Once they move to next gen 5* we are bound to feel it as it's the best way to sell new characters. Plus competitive end game content is still kinda lacking in wuwa to notice(not hate, I love game, but it's still has much more to bring, as current ToA alone will suffice just for now and will get irrelevant once they increase roaster of character)

After that, Kuro really should start filling out more specialized/niche supports because I don't like how Shorekeeper is the best support for almost every team. It hurts in terms of team diversity. Maybe once Wuthering Waves has reached its 1 year anniversary we will start to see some power creep among featured 5* characters.

That's actually why I think they are not done yet. Game still doesn't have 5* supports/sub dps for aero and fusion + 1 more general healer supports before they start powercreping the hell outta them, going full niche.

@aarushi2740 oh I just bring it up since zzz and honkai star rail and genshin are a the most famous and the most know gacha games ( and I speak also from experience since I played all 3 ) and I can say in terms of powercrept in these 3 games genshin have it less than then the other two ( at least that what my own opinion and others who have played all three )
My plan is to prioritize getting Carlotta before essentially getting Zhezhi as a premium Jinhsi battery. If I get lucky on those pulls, I'll pick up a dupe of Jinhsi on the back half of the patch. Roccia doesn't really appeal much to me, and I'm not super into Camellya's playstyle (Sanhua will do for her in my case), so Roccia is an easy skip for me.
yeah Sanhua is doing great for me rn so i dont see a reason to get a new 5 star just for a little more damage on a character that already does enough damage

I'm prioritizing Zhezi. I need to pair her with jinhsi to free yinlin to make another team with xiangli or calchurro (i have both built). Camelya is doing good for now with sanhua so i guess i'll try going for carlotta if i don't get spooked by the furry or a third calchudo. Thanks for the video, you helped me make up my mind. Knowing that Zhezi can use yinlin's weapon is such a relief.
Would you recommend me to pull for carlotta, i have no astrite so maybe the quests and events will give me enought pulls, and i have camellya, xiangli yao and yinlin but no zhezi
@@tofu708 if you have sanhua (dunno if you need her at s6 to be viable, check it out first) you can builld her for camelya and see between jhinsi and Carlotta who you like best. You'll eventually get someone to pair with them in the future. If not, like someone has said roccia is a solid choice and would make your camelya team really strong.

I use Mortefi S6 with Jinshi. I don‘t have Zhezhi so I don‘t know whether Zhezhi or Mortefi do more coordinated attacks for Jinshi. But Mortefi did very well until now so I don‘t think you have to get Zhezhi unless you like her 😅

I mean, you said it yourself: there will always be a new DPS to use. Points is, this is a gacha. They have to keep coming up with new stuff. We have yet to get a new Spectro DPS. I assume we may get one after Rinascita. Then we will see if Jhinsi is viable still. But for now? She will definitely carry people. Question is: do you absolutely need her? Nope. Always follow the rule of cool. If you think the character is awesome, then pull. If not, then skip. Meta is secondary. Team building is tertiary. First and foremost, pick stuff that you dig. If you dont get full points in events, who cares? You got the character you wanted and you played with him or her. Thats all that matters.
I pulled several Zhezhi copies because she seemed like a great sub-DPS. Now I rarely bring my DPS into the fight. Zhezhi doesn't do HUGE damage bursts, but she does dish out frequent medium AOE damage at long range.

@@markomaksimovic6972Zhezhi isn't essential for Carlotta and jinhsi but she's still very nice to have. She boosts their damage by a lot, especially Carlotta. But there's four stars that boost resonance damage nicely too with their outro, like Lumi. So Lumi will be a good f2p option for Carlotta.
the only 2 limited character i don't have are Zhezhi and Jiyan so far, and on Standard banner 5 star is Jianxin left,.... so looks like it depends now....
I skipped camellya for carlotta but after seeing her gameplay I like camellya way more and her best team is literally jinhsi and I already have jinhsi so I’m gonna pull roccia and get camellya on her rerun
@ building pity makes no sense, you can get a 5 star super early so if at the time I’m committed to skipping there’s literally no reason to “build pity” and risk getting a character I didn’t want
i pulled carlotta and zhezhi, but will definitely wait until the end of jinhsi’s banner to decide whether i will get her. phoebe (the new spectro character, probably a dps based on echo set) just got released and I wanna see how good the newest spectro dps would do.
Jinshi is one of the best dps ..... If you are willing to do enough investment on her . In terms of claymore we don't have any good options other than her sig and jiyan sig . And in terms of teammates to play her in hard endgame content you need verina as a must and zhezhi 90 percent of the time . But carlotta on the other hand maybe isn't a strong dps as jinshi is but her best in slot teammates now are yang yang and baizhi .and not to mention the amount of investment jinshi needs you can get sequence of carlotta to maximize her . In the end if you like jinshi go for jinshi but also have in mind the she needs a lot of investment.
Lie after lie Jinhsi investment is CR and RS damage tf you mean you could max out Carlotta sequences with the amount of investment for Jinhsi. Jinhsi gets even more QoL at s2-s3 don't just talk out of your ahh. I could argue Camellya's s2 and s6 is better than Carlotta.
@gwanetayla7683 jinshi damage at s0 is going to be higher then any dps in s0 and many even in s3 expect camellya . But the jinshi team comp is restrictive . That's what I meant to say and to maximize her potential you need characters like verina and zhezhi . And her signature is the only good claymore aside from jiyan sig. But that's not the case with carlotta. She is going to do a lot less damage . As of now we don't know much about it but . She is easier to build with you can use Shorekeeper or verina or baizhi . You can use yang yang , zhezhi or sanhua her option of teammates doesn't affect her overall damage much . She also has a standard weapon with a crit stat . That's why carlotta might be a better and easier option for many. And I didnt say we can max carlotta sequestration rather then investing on jinshi . But getting carlotta s1 to max her potential is way better than trying to get jinshi , zhezhi and jinshi weapons . Offcourse the damage is going to be less compared but you don't need to oneshot the enemy all the time for you to play this game . And when we get to the point of jinshi s2 or s3 . At that point considering the total cost you can basically get a s4 or s6 carlotta . Camellya s1 , s2 and s6 are all really great and that's a reason why she does more damage when done vertical investment higher than any characters including jinshi .

As an f2p I'm extremely lucky to have jinshi(w signature) zhezhi Shorekeeper(S1) yinlin verina xangli yao and I'm going to pull for carlotta on guarantee and her weapon too 🗣️🔥
I think jinhsi can be used has a sub dps or in duel dps team because of her outro thing , she can give outro without filling the concerto energy and still jinhsi dont have best support ( skill dmg bonus+spectro dmg bonus+ coordinate attk) so i think she will be relevant for quite some more time
im running lumi rn with jinhsi and the gameplay is pretty fun, it might not be meta but its still comforably completing the TOA, and ive been wanting to pull jinhsi's wavebands for a while so im def goin her banner, tho zezhi would admittedly be the smarter choice

Lost my 50/50 on carlotta’s banner so using my guarantee for jihnsi. Carlotta will eventually rerun cus she’s a new character but jihnsi might take a while to show up again
I guess I just want to play something besides Jinhsi at this point. I imagine 2.0 characters will be something special too. It's been her, Zhenzhi and Shorekeeper for me, for awhile. I'm hoping I can swap Charlotta with Jinhsi and keep the rest the same. Hard to say what will happen this early.
Jinshi is the most priority for me for beginners, because she is a NUKER type, means she deals a lot of damage in a single hit, but must paired with YuanWu to make his concerto energy faster, also you must include Shorekeeper or Verina. After I get Carlotta (For sure) I will go directly to Jinshi to make her S3 to make his DPS much faster, because it will take less time for her kit to be used. I wish they wont release Carlotta and Jinshi at the same time for me to save more Asterite. I am sitiing at 15k and 30 Radiant tide without buying more at the shop using Afterglow Coral.
I don't have much Astrites after Camellya but priority is Carlota. I prefer characters like Changli and Yinlin but I find Carlota rather appealing. I'm praying to wim the 50/50 for Carlota and get her early so I can also get Jinhsi since I skipped her to guarantee Changli, one of my favorites characters in the game.
My Jinhsi hits 200k something with standard weapon and yinlin. I could use zezhi, her broadblade, or a glacio dps idk which to choose. I'm broke tho after getting verity's handle so i probably won't get any of them lol. If that's the case then I'm gonna wait for new aero dps since my jiyan with standard weapon hits like dogcrap (5k on liberation).
I’ve lost every single 50/50 since launch so I don’t really know if I want to continue playing. I keep going to max pity for everything. It’s kinda rough maxing out the map or having to spend money to get at least something from the banners. Really demotivating. 😭

i mean you do have it kind of scuffed tbh but, you could go for Jinshi and make an f2p cordinated team with Yuanwu and shorekeeper or Yuanwu and Taoqi. Then Roccia is not good for the charcters you have, we will have to see what Carlotta's best teams are and tbf most of the time Zhezhi is goign to be on them, i mean we don't know if she will have restricted teams like Jinshi does, so you will have to wait until she gets fully relased and not rely on leaks. I'm assumin you use Calcharo, Yinlin and Shorekeepr as one team and Havoc rover, Danjin and maybe jianxin as another? If i was you id get Jinshi and her weapon, if you're on your 50/50 or not enough asterites just go for Jinshi and slap Jiyan's weapon on her. i do about 350k with shorekeeper and yinlin on her. with Jiyan's weapon, but ovbiosuly with good echoes. If you do the f2p team, then you'll have 3 teams which decently free for ToA.

Mortefi S6 works very well Jinshi. Maybe you have him at S6. Wuwa is game that prioritizes Main DPS. In my opinion, Jinshi’s weapon > Zhezhi. You have lots of pulls in 2.0 and 2.1 so don’t worry too much
Pull zhezi, she's much better than yuanwu. unless you have lumi then you can go lumi+yuanwu then pull for jinhsi weapon and save your guaranteed for brant.

Im honestly in the same boat right now i cant afford it but i would love to S6 Zheshi because main dps zheshi is so fun
I have S1R1 Jinhsi, so I'll be buying her skin as well. Idc if she gets powercreeped, I'll always be using her.

I skipped camellya for carlotta but after seeing her gameplay I like camellya way more and her best team is literally jinhsi and I already have jinhsi so I’m gonna pull roccia and get camellya on her rerun

@ building pity makes no sense, you can get a 5 star super early so if at the time I’m committed to skipping there’s literally no reason to “build pity” and risk getting a character I didn’t want

i pulled carlotta and zhezhi, but will definitely wait until the end of jinhsi’s banner to decide whether i will get her. phoebe (the new spectro character, probably a dps based on echo set) just got released and I wanna see how good the newest spectro dps would do.
And then there’s me who’s got Jinshi and Zhezhi already and I’m going all in for Brant in 2.1 😂
Jinshi is one of the best dps ..... If you are willing to do enough investment on her . In terms of claymore we don't have any good options other than her sig and jiyan sig . And in terms of teammates to play her in hard endgame content you need verina as a must and zhezhi 90 percent of the time .
But carlotta on the other hand maybe isn't a strong dps as jinshi is but her best in slot teammates now are yang yang and baizhi .and not to mention the amount of investment jinshi needs you can get sequence of carlotta to maximize her .
In the end if you like jinshi go for jinshi but also have in mind the she needs a lot of investment.

Jinhsi investment is CR and RS damage tf you mean you could max out Carlotta sequences with the amount of investment for Jinhsi. Jinhsi gets even more QoL at s2-s3 don't just talk out of your ahh. I could argue Camellya's s2 and s6 is better than Carlotta.
@gwanetayla7683 jinshi damage at s0 is going to be higher then any dps in s0 and many even in s3 expect camellya . But the jinshi team comp is restrictive . That's what I meant to say and to maximize her potential you need characters like verina and zhezhi . And her signature is the only good claymore aside from jiyan sig. But that's not the case with carlotta. She is going to do a lot less damage . As of now we don't know much about it but . She is easier to build with you can use Shorekeeper or verina or baizhi . You can use yang yang , zhezhi or sanhua her option of teammates doesn't affect her overall damage much . She also has a standard weapon with a crit stat . That's why carlotta might be a better and easier option for many.
And I didnt say we can max carlotta sequestration rather then investing on jinshi . But getting carlotta s1 to max her potential is way better than trying to get jinshi , zhezhi and jinshi weapons . Offcourse the damage is going to be less compared but you don't need to oneshot the enemy all the time for you to play this game . And when we get to the point of jinshi s2 or s3 . At that point considering the total cost you can basically get a s4 or s6 carlotta .
Camellya s1 , s2 and s6 are all really great and that's a reason why she does more damage when done vertical investment higher than any characters including jinshi .
Jinshi, yuanwu and taoqi goes very well too.
Getting Jinshi now, didn’t like her base design but the skin is incredible will be copping both, finally my zhezhi will have a teammate!

People forget that zhezhi is also a battery. One of her inherent skills is that the next person after her outro skill gets 15 energy.

I think jinhsi can be used has a sub dps or in duel dps team because of her outro thing , she can give outro without filling the concerto energy and still jinhsi dont have best support ( skill dmg bonus+spectro dmg bonus+ coordinate attk) so i think she will be relevant for quite some more time
im running lumi rn with jinhsi and the gameplay is pretty fun, it might not be meta but its still comforably completing the TOA, and ive been wanting to pull jinhsi's wavebands for a while so im def goin her banner, tho zezhi would admittedly be the smarter choice

I guess I just want to play something besides Jinhsi at this point. I imagine 2.0 characters will be something special too. It's been her, Zhenzhi and Shorekeeper for me, for awhile. I'm hoping I can swap Charlotta with Jinhsi and keep the rest the same. Hard to say what will happen this early.
Jinshi is the most priority for me for beginners, because she is a NUKER type, means she deals a lot of damage in a single hit, but must paired with YuanWu to make his concerto energy faster, also you must include Shorekeeper or Verina. After I get Carlotta (For sure) I will go directly to Jinshi to make her S3 to make his DPS much faster, because it will take less time for her kit to be used. I wish they wont release Carlotta and Jinshi at the same time for me to save more Asterite. I am sitiing at 15k and 30 Radiant tide without buying more at the shop using Afterglow Coral.

Camellia is a good one, she's singly handled toa tower easily, I never regret getting her
Camellya is the best dps investment in terms of value, she's got AoE and Nuke, and she don't need much investment to deal good dmg.
I don't have much Astrites after Camellya but priority is Carlota. I prefer characters like Changli and Yinlin but I find Carlota rather appealing.
I'm praying to wim the 50/50 for Carlota and get her early so I can also get Jinhsi since I skipped her to guarantee Changli, one of my favorites characters in the game.

My Jinhsi hits 200k something with standard weapon and yinlin. I could use zezhi, her broadblade, or a glacio dps idk which to choose. I'm broke tho after getting verity's handle so i probably won't get any of them lol. If that's the case then I'm gonna wait for new aero dps since my jiyan with standard weapon hits like dogcrap (5k on liberation).
I think jinshi's weapon is a good bonus i got lucky on a random 10 pull. If you have her get it before sequences
I’ve lost every single 50/50 since launch so I don’t really know if I want to continue playing. I keep going to max pity for everything. It’s kinda rough maxing out the map or having to spend money to get at least something from the banners. Really demotivating. 😭

i mean you do have it kind of scuffed tbh but, you could go for Jinshi and make an f2p cordinated team with Yuanwu and shorekeeper or Yuanwu and Taoqi. Then Roccia is not good for the charcters you have, we will have to see what Carlotta's best teams are and tbf most of the time Zhezhi is goign to be on them, i mean we don't know if she will have restricted teams like Jinshi does, so you will have to wait until she gets fully relased and not rely on leaks. I'm assumin you use Calcharo, Yinlin and Shorekeepr as one team and Havoc rover, Danjin and maybe jianxin as another? If i was you id get Jinshi and her weapon, if you're on your 50/50 or not enough asterites just go for Jinshi and slap Jiyan's weapon on her. i do about 350k with shorekeeper and yinlin on her. with Jiyan's weapon, but ovbiosuly with good echoes. If you do the f2p team, then you'll have 3 teams which decently free for ToA.

Mortefi S6 works very well Jinshi. Maybe you have him at S6. Wuwa is game that prioritizes Main DPS. In my opinion, Jinshi’s weapon > Zhezhi. You have lots of pulls in 2.0 and 2.1 so don’t worry too much
Yuanwu is in a weird spot. Because Mortefi S6 > Yuanwu S6 because of the 20% atk buff at S6 from Mortefi is superior
Pull zhezi, she's much better than yuanwu. unless you have lumi then you can go lumi+yuanwu then pull for jinhsi weapon and save your guaranteed for brant.
