Great video for those new to having to maintain a Triple-O or similar system. Instead of risking a fall carrying the filter down the ladder, just let the chain take the weight and hang the whole thing down the side of the tank and remove the filter from ground level.
Triple O uses the UV lamp to generate Ozone. The other box next to your triple O box is likely your pump controller. You do not have UV and Ozone, the UV lamp generates the ozone
Thanks Sean. Nice video. You folks have a nice system. That's probably a great idea to wear those boots when you're hosing things down. Think I'm better prepared, should I need to change the filter in my pump system now. A couple questions: 1) is it ok just to wipe the gunk off the emitter with a rag/cloth? 2) How much (ballpark) does a new filter cost, and how long will they usually last?
You do Not want to wipe the emitter with a cloth is may clog the pores and won't sufficiently clean it. A replacement filter is around $200. We replace ours about once a year, or when the fabric starts to fray, the white bands fall apart or it just doesn't get clean anymore. I plan to replace ours at the next cleaning.

Epic video! I just found one in my tank and thus video was gold!
