Very cool stuff, never seen such a digital interface for tabletop games. Where you using the full rules on this playthrough? Does a ship that crippled really automatically escape? Given the current speed differential, fire and smoke clouds I dont think the Bismark would have any trouble giving pursuit. In fact your choice of rear turrets going down for Bismark was fortuitous and the RN choice of all forward main turrets for that class didnt pay off, it would be basically defenseless trying to run from the Bismark in this situation.
Only thing I think you missed is that on the second turn the Nelson turned more than 30 degrees and therefore should have been made to roll CRT one row higher.
Also the penetrating hits eliminate a hull box, and I believe the critical location hit also removes additional hull boxes, but I don't have my reference sheet handy.
@@roryross3878I came here to say the same about the basic damage with a penetrating hit. Each remaining fire after damage control does 1 damage too IIRC.

Unfortunately they got erased when that HDD died. You can find the counters at www.cke1st.com/m_games4.htm however and use custom tiles in VTT and the snipping tool in windows.
@@PGatcomb I shot you a friend request on Steam. I picked up the rules and am implementing it into TTS. Teaching some people tomorrow. Looks like you're playing some other stuff, I'd love to hit up some games with you. Cheers!
@@erikaeisenhower9423 I dont have the actual files anymore as that SSD died a painful death but, you can make your own using the windows snipping tool and googling "Mike's 2nd wargame page"
@@PGatcomb Thanks a lot! Will do. Also, you should get someone to fight you in your videos from time to time! Definitely gonna hope to see more of General Quarters 3.

6:51 So HMS Hood never sunk... It evolved into a Nelson class battleship?

Maybe he's using the more granular damage system.
Doesn't he lose speed when turning?
@@phil73805I think that depends on the complexity you choose, maybe thats an advanced rule?

What is the mod you are using for Table Top Simulator?
No particular one, I just copied those images off a pdf and the internet and did custom tiles for them.
@@PGatcomb Ok, thank you very much.

What is the name of the software that you use?
Tabletop sim for the interaction. OBS for recording and snipping tool for the little graphics to save them.

Please stop saying "the" HMS NELSON.....
