Awesome snares, Maestro. It would be very cool to hear them in context, as well as seeing the processing you do to make them fit the track (kick and bass at least). You're a fabulous educator of the trippy sciences, Ollie. ( : Many thanks.
brings me back to my days reading Rick Snowman's Dance Music Manual and its section on drum synthesis :D We have so many tools for drums these days, sometimes it's really nice to go back to the basics even if there is nothing basic about these techniques.
I remember getting that book when I first started out, I think I still have it somewhere x) True, I mean today all it takes is a good sample and you're done but I feel it's super important to go back to those "older techniques" as you learn soo much, not only about the tools you're using but also sound design!
@@olliepsy exactly. I had a MicroBrute at the time so I had to get experimenty to do certain things which was part of the fun, and definitely resulted in uniqueness to drum sounds. I user Fazertone's Neural Drumkit a lot now. Between layering, synthesizing, and ND, I just have no reason to buy another drum sample library ever again
Hello , Thank u for ur super tutorials for some reason the plugin crashes abe , I own a ti2 polar the main plugin works like clockwork though after 14 years .
You mean the DSP Emulator? As for the editor, it depends on the models AFAIK, the snow is the worst in terms of stability, Polar and the keyboard versions are the most stable, the desktop it depends on the days, sometimes it crashes every 2 seconds and others its super stable and you don't know why lol

Thanks for your words Frerikh, actually I was thinking about making a "short" type of videos to showcase how I use these snares in tracks :)
@@olliepsy , Nice one, looking forward to that!
Yes 🙌
Thanks again 👌🏻

I've copied the firmware file in the vst folder ..
Works , but it crashes
Having it as a non hardware vst is super though.
