The same God that has taken care of me will take care of my children and grandchildren and great grandchildren. He is in charge and He knows what is going on in His world. ❤
We live in a small rural community. Last week 4 churches of different or no denomination banded together to hold Vacation Bible School. We had over 90 children and countless teen and adult teachers/helpers. Yes it was exhausting yet abundantly rewarding to see all those precious faces, especially as they took communion on that final day. This gives me hope as Jesus walked right in with those kids each day. Children are just naturally hopeful and loving.
In the worst years of my life I found that reading the book of Psalms comforted me and guided me and made me feel safe. I still go back quite often if I am feeling unsure or afraid.
I hang onto my faith in God. He healed me of cancer over a year ago. When I got the diagnosis, I cried for about 5 minutes, and then I talked to God, and He told me He would heal me, and He did! This world can be scary, but God will take care of everything. Do not be afraid is quoted in the Bible 365 times, so everyday we should not fear. Thanks for a great video and the wisdom you give us dear sister ❤❤
I think that what helps me displace fear is the promise that Jesus promised me a tomorrow - no more pain, no more shaking, no more disappointments or tears; just being held in His arms and surrounded by His love... That and the hope that, when I get to Heaven, my Mom will be there waiting for me.
What scares me about today's world is that we no longer have a mutually trusted source of information and we are being fed wildly different versions of reality in such a way that we are sadly divided in painful way based on which version we believe. Each side believes the other is dishonest or deluded. We have never in my lifetime faced a situation where it was so hard to find unbiased and true information, or be able to prove what is true and it is tragic. People now too often only accept what reinforces what they already believe and reject any information that does not support their opinions even if their opinions might need re-examination. Worse, some people become belligerent and dishonest to try to force their view on others or garner power. Jesus taught us better. I pray that we find a way to bring objectivity back into our national dialogue, and kindness and honesty makes a comeback. God's will be done on Earth, as it is in Heaven as Jesus taught. May we be a good example. Thank you for bringing this to us!
I completely agree with you. But where will it come from? (The new, mutually trusted source of information.) Sometimes i think this is terrorism (misinformation and mistrust fomented by a foreign power to bring about America's demise by civil war). Sometimes I think actors within our own government are doing this to strengthen Americans "freedom muscles” and help us find new leadership. And sometimes I believe that we have banished God from the US public square and are reaping the repercussions.
Yes, that’s true, but maybe the Lord has something else in mind than to restore this country? Our allegiance should ultimately be to our heavenly home, not our earthly one.

You are such a blessing Diana. I was just thinking how fresh and beautiful your face is, when you showed your nails. Would never have noticed ;) Thank you for your important words today❤
I'm in my seventies, and I have been hearing that we shouldn't be bringing children into this world since I was a child. Now, if my generation had not had children where would we be as a nation?
Diana , you prob can’t imagine how many of us needed this message you gave us ! God led you to give us His word to be a balm and it truly is such a comfort . The way you speak with love and kindness to us is such a treasure. Thank you 😍
I read the news. Rarely watch it. The people who report the news on TV use voice inflection. They chat with each other about the story. It can skew how we think about it. When I read, I hear my own voice and I can sit with the info, discern the info, pursue more if I think I need to know more. I am much less stressed when reading rather than listening.
The advice about not watching the news alone...wow...thank you!! I needed that AND the scripture truth. God is so cool! So timely for my heart. Bless you!!
Jan Karon has a long series that I have read and reread many times. I am Baptist, her books are based on Episcopalian church life. While denominations do things differently, doctrine is the bedrock between us all. I found nothing that made me uncomfortable. I have each book and audiobook. They encourage me daily!
I believe we are all chosen for the time we are living in. We, including our children, are created “for such a time as this”. We are uniquely important to the place and time we are in to God’s purpose for our lives. That fact comforts me a lot, as I do worry about the world they will love in. Two young women just climbed into a car with a complete stranger who was male. And all felt completely safe... That's something to give encouragement to all three of you.
I know the news can sometimes be depressing but I still like to watch it. I’m in the UK & every night I watch 10.00 news on ITV, as I like to keep in touch with what’s happening every day. Praying for the families & friends in the Titanic capsule at this sad time. x
The children being born into the world now are equipped by God to handle what's happening. I don't know where I heard that, but it gave me some measure of comfort. I have some grands that I love and worry over. Thank you for this. 💟

Thanks for this powerful encouragement, Diana. I appreciate your continuous and loving reminders to focus on the Lord. When I am feeling worried, I pray, “I trust you, Lord” over and over again until I feel peaceful. When our family was going through an especially difficult time, I prayed this until I fell asleep many nights (and slept well). I’m so grateful God loves us so much and know He really does care. 🙏🏻❤️🙏🏻
I needed this today. Ive been worrying about my grown kids because they are both going thru a difficult time right now. And it is taking a toll on me. Parents have a hard time when their children are in pain and we can't solve the problems like we used to when they were little and the problems were small. Thank you. ❤
So needed this right now after weeping alone in my flat this evening, crying out to God because i've been in increasing pain for over 6 months and no one knows why so i'm just living in fear of what it is. It just feels like another thorn to handle along with being a single woman turning 46 next month. Tonight i just cried to God telling him how i felt abandoned and forgotten. I am part of your Saturday morning group but keep forgetting to join because i'm UK time so it's 1.30pm for me and the Circle app doesn't work. Bless you!
Please look into nervous system healing and perceived pain syndrome. Often this is the source of pain. I had my own dark night of the soul 2 years ago where I was bed bound and God brought this to me. Maybe it will help you.
Praying for you in the USA, that you will have pain relief and healing, for your doctors, and that even if you miss the live sessions/Bible study you'll stay connected to the group and post comments, prayer requests...
You are not alone, Jo. There are many who suffer with pain and it is a lonely path. Stay close to God and he will guide you to the right people. I am struggling with pain and also joined Diana’s small group but it’s early morning. I have to see if I can replay the meetings and hopefully that will be available to us. Go for walks to help with pain if you can … I find my little dog who is laying beside me loves me unconditionally - just as God does. Sending you hugs and I will pray for better days ahead for both of us! ❤️🇨🇦🙏
I have 4 kids (9- 2) and I purposely don't watch much news. I tend to dwell and can freak out. my growing relationship with Him is what gets me through. I have the Holy Spirit and He reminds me of the hope and Joy I have in Him so I use that eternal knowledge to redirect my thoughts. I pray that peace over friends and family. I also just finished a 6 month study in Matthew and the Sermon on the Mount.
Loved this message! I find encouragement by looking back at answered prayer. My husband and I pray A LOT for our young-adult sons and we are amazed at how God answers us every time we go to our knees for them.
Thank you for this video, it was very timely for me. I have our first grand baby coming this year and worry for the world she will be born into and I am having surgery next week and fear is residing in my mind and heart concerning these things. Thank you for the reminder to lean on scripture, Diana!!❤ And THANK YOU FOR YOUR BOOK RECOMMENDATIONS! I just ordered the set to read while in recovery!
Thank you so so much for this. It came to me right on time. I’m having health issues and just different things going on in my life. I appreciate all the prayers and encouragement that I can get. I have been slacking on my Bible reading and going to church because of my health issues. My finances will be different for a little while. But, I’m going to do my best to give it to God. Again, thank you. God bless you and I would truly appreciate you and the rest of your members out there for your prayers. 🙏🏻❤️
Hi Cherry, praying right now for healing in your physical body, provision for every financial need and a deep and abiding peace in your heart! Love and blessings 💛
Beautiful! Thank you Diana! 👌 Hope you and your growing Baby are well! 🙏 "Jesus I Trust in You" is also a helpful phrase to remember 🙂 ... Yes easier said than lived 😉😊
Thanks so much for this. Great encouragement and very practical advice too. The quote that worry is what happens when you imagine a future without God is so powerful. Wonderful lesson today. 😊
This is something that is on my mind so often lately. Thank you for your words of encouragement. It's so easy to focus on things of this world and forget that God is always there and He loves and cares for us. No matter what happens to us here on Earth, it's gonna be okay.
Thank you sister I needed this! Even as I struggling to support my children and myself I trust in you Lord. I know life gets hard but God please continue to give me the strength to keep going because I want to give up. Jesus hear my prayers. Heavenly Father I know you don’t give us more than we can handle but why me? I’m confused because I’m loyal to you Lord. Since losing my job for declining the vaccine I’m constantly faced with financial hardships. I declined the vaccine because I have heart disease and lupus. I’m now waitressing due to mandates are still in effect at all hospitals. Jesus hear my cries. Struggling to support my children is so difficult on me especially because my sons are autistic. Struggling to buy groceries. Struggling to pay rent. I’m keeping faith but I’m tired Lord. ❤
Dear Lord God, please wrap TiffMiller in your arms and hold her, give her hope and comfort. Show her you are present in her daily life and that you will be there for her. Guide her in her choices in life and give her strength, wisdom and courage during the journey you have planned for her. May she continue to give it all to you even when she feels like she is not having her prayers answered. I can relate to her fear, Father, as you know, and I did not give up in you during he worst of times in my tribulation. Get her through to the other side and make her life better than it was before her tribulation. In your Son Jesus Christs name I pray, Amen. FWIW, I admire you, and believe you did the right thing in declining. God will bring you out on the other side with a better job and life. Don't lose hope, I speak from experience myself. Hugs to you.
Heavenly Father, please lift TiffMiller up so high that she can feel your presence, your joy, your concern and your love for her. Please let her know that you got this. Amen.
I love your inspiration! Thank you for this ministry. I was thinking about the Bible reading habit and I was reminded of something I learned recently: daily is wonderful, every other day is great, 1x a week is still good. It's better to do something (like reading the bible) than nothing and that can still count as a habit. It's remembering and following through that makes it the habit, not the fact that it is daily, every other day, weekly, etc.
I figure that I raised my children with my own values, traditions & desirable character traits, rather than by the popular influencers. I brought up family anecdotes about our ancestors overcoming severe struggles so that my children could see that ordinary people have accomplished great things without a lot of fanfare that benefited the family down through the decades. I will raise them to be leaders & self thinkers, rather than sheepul!! I had no doubts about their ultimate success in these endeavors. Despite all the struggles as a single low income mother, they turned out very well, with no addictions to alcohol, drugs or reckless behaviors. I kept stressing that they had a unique purpose in this world & should leave it better off for there being here. They are a source of delight & thankfulness to me & many others.
Diana, from your fiction list last summer, I thoroughly enjoyed the Yada Yada Prayer Group books and most recently loved the Sensible Shoes Series by Sharon Garlough Brown. Both of those recommendations were awesome! Sharon Garlough Brown shares so much Godly guidance by introducing four characters at different stages of life as they grow in Christ. ❤❤ I love Tracie Peterson's books as well; her Montana series was awesome. Also, Laurraine Snelling writes awesome Christian historical fiction about North Dakota settlers.
Great subject. I don't fear the future because I know who holds the future. I'm pretty sure you'll get there in your sharing, but wanted to put this down before you are even finished. Awesome quote about worry.
Hello Diane If we focus on the negatives other’s faults Negativity and faults will appear. If we fill our mind with love ,kindness and compassion and focus on the good qualities of others and adopt those good qualities ourselves. Our world will appear more pure .Wise people purge their own faults and focus only on other’s goodness
Thank you, Diana ❤️. I am always encouraged by God's faithfulness. It is something I continue to go back to when I'm feeling stressed. I'm currently reading a book called A Shepherd Looks at Psalm 23, by W. Phillip Keller. I'm only about a third of the way through it, but it is so insightful.
Great . It encouraged me and refreshed my perspective to really get back to the basics. Thank you. Blessings to you and your family. Another fantastic biblical historical fiction author is Lynn Austin. Both her historical and modern fiction are superb!!
This is how I feel; fear of the future, having PCOS and thinking if I could have kids I probably wouldn’t, and I have a hard time reading the Bible consistently. Thank you.
It is scary sometimes raising our children because we love them SO much that we want them to have the best life possible. However, we shouldn't deny the world to have more good people in it. We should raise our children in the Lord and help them to find their path so they can be a shining light, a help, a ray of hope to others. Every generation faces challenges. But we can do all things through Him who strengthens us. 💕
I have enjoyed reading Tracey Peterson's works also. There is a series called "Love Finds You in...." that are Christian romance stories in different small towns around the US. Some are present day but most are set in the past, 1800s or early 1900s. And they are very good! Different authors write these, but they are God-honoring and interesting.
I was so encouraged last year when the penny dropped that Jesus was also anxious before he was crucified. I realized that he was HUMAN and understands us so well. Also, I learnt that that did not keep Him from taking the next step. May we be courageous like Jesus was, keeping the kingdom in mind.
Diana, is there a UA-cam channel or a podcast such as yours that is directed toward our spouses? You are such an encouragement to this new “Nana”. We have already begun to pray that our grandson will come to know the Lord at a young age!
God is always on time! He sends inspiration when we need it. Great timing Diana! I loved this! Thank you ❤ I'm so Grateful for you and Dawn and all you are doing!
I heard someone say that if Christians don't have children, then who would be on earth to tell the lost how to be saved. We have to realize God loves us, that everyone is a sinner, that sin has a price, that Jesus paid that price for us by dying on the cross & finally pray & ask Jesus Christ to be your Savior, forgive you of your sins & ask Him to save you. It's just that simple. 😊
I read somewhere when my daughter was an infant not to worry about the time your children will be born into or grow up in, but instead raise them to be the David's and Esther's of their time. That has stuck with me and I use it any time I feel that worry creeping in.
I was raised Christian, but at the age of 16 stopped believing. What I find interesting about your comment is when you were talking about world wide religion, you seem to think that Christianity is the only valid choice. There are many, many other organized religions that believe in God.
@susannovak8263 It's not about any certain religion, it's about a relationship with God. Not all "religions" believe that going to Heaven is only through Jesus dying on the cross for our sins. Some think you have to work your way there or do other things. I would be scared not knowing if I had worked hard enough or had done enough good things to get to Heaven. I'm glad that I only have to believe in the precious blood of Jesus to take me there. He pd for our sins & will take us to Heaven if we believe in Him & ask Him. Glory to God for that. 😊
"Worry is imagining the future without God there." This hit me hard as Truth! Instantly, I felt relief! Thank you for the video, but especially that one sentence!
Thank you so much for this video. I have the crippling fear since finding out I was pregnant about this exact same thought. It causes me soo much anxiety but my husband and I continue to pray and walk in faith
Hi Diana, I find that God doesn't always stop or prevent bad things from happening to us or others even when we pray. What I do take is that God promises us that he will be with us through the storms of our lives until completion. Granted I don't always find that comforting during the times that I am struggling. There has always been a desire in me to bring good and light in the darkness of this world. So even though I cannot solve world problems or prevent harm to my children, I believe in bringing love in any form I can, makes a difference no matter how small it seems. I always keep asking God what can I do for him today that would bring beauty in this world. So the promise of God being with me and I want to be part of the solution and not the problem is why I keep going when I struggle with the pains of the world. I pray that your faith stays strong and keep encouraging others. God be with you always, Adriennne
As a Christian I know that God is always with me and my eternity is in heaven. That is a given. We still have to live in a world that is becoming more and more sinful and the sins are celebrated more and more each year. I can easily see where your driver was coming from. I feel hopeful for my life in heaven but I feel pretty hopeless for the generations going forward and even current day to day life in this world and the hold Satan has. Satan, the god of the world. The end times are here and so many are ignoring. I pray Jesus will come today.
I could have written this comment word for word! I pray often that Jesus comes during my lifetime and the world as it is will end. I also believe we are in the end times, but for how long the end times will last is unknown. God help us all.......
@@texasmimi5566 I am so grateful that my child has grown up. I cannot imagine having a young child at this point. Not everyone is able to homeschool and unless you live in a bubble, it is impossible to keep the world out. I do not have a grandchild and I have to say, I am not mad about it. That is in God's hands but I do not pray for one. The world is no longer a safe place in many ways. Yes, Jesus please come and get us.
Good word! Two things that help me when I'm feeling anxious are music and gratitude. CityAlight, Keith & Kristyn Getty, Matt Boswell and Matt Papa sing excellent songs that get me grounded in Truth again. Gratitude helps me refocus on all the ways God has blessed me and taken care of me in the past, and it helps me rest in the fact that He is faithful and will continue to take care of me in the same way.
My former, wonderful Christian manager shared this quote with me long ago (by Todd Wagner): "Worry is not believing God will get it right. Bitterness is believing God got it wrong." Sometimes it is painful to read this, but it helps me keep some of my emotions in check.
Oh my gosh Diana, your title made me click over on your video instantly! I have felt this in my heart for such a long time. Please, and thank you for addressing this.
Oooh , Diana ! No words right now ! Beautiful video. When you lead us in prayer, my friend, I truly feel bathed in the Holy Spirit ! God bless you ! And Happy Anniversary to you and Princeton !
Environmental issues and the huge growth in the AI space has really concerned me for my young children’s future, my future too as an almost 30 year old. But I’m trying to shift my focus and live life to the fullest with joy, because those issues I am not able to control in the slightest on my own.
YES! Tracie Peterson is absolutely wonderful!!! She’s from my Montana and one of her first series is based in Montana. Thank you so much for recommending dear Tracie!!!
Thank you, Diana, for sharing your faith. God bless you. The world is chaotic but God is with us - always. I have had many times of difficulties in my life, and I always turn to God. He is always with me; I am a child of God. I'm grateful for his love, guidance, protection, wisdom, and His word, his power and who he is. I praise him and rest in God's hands. Once in a while - rarely - I think about fear, the unknown/uncertainty, and I remind myself that it says over and over in the bible 'Do not fear' and I know with certainty: God is in charge, in control, above everything, not surprised by anything, with us, loves us, cares for us. I have had since I was a little girl, and continue to have a strong relationship with God - through prayer, bible reading and study, devotions, discussing God and the bible with others, and listening for and acting upon God's nudge. I'm so thankful for God.

Thank you so much. A timely message of encouragement that I needed. I literally prayed this morning “God do you see me”
So needed this right now after weeping alone in my flat this evening, crying out to God because i've been in increasing pain for over 6 months and no one knows why so i'm just living in fear of what it is.
We are here with you, @josandham. Sending love and blessings 🙏🏼😇
praying! think of Jesus pain and offer it to Him as He suffers for you. God is outside of time. Turn evil into love for Him
I have 4 kids (9- 2) and I purposely don't watch much news.
@danymilll707 yes...
Loved this message! I find encouragement by looking back at answered prayer. My husband and I pray A LOT for our young-adult sons and we are amazed at how God answers us every time we go to our knees for them.
Y E S ! Thank you so much for sharing 💛
🙏🏻🙏🏾🙏🏽💌
The world needs my kids.
Thank you Diana. Worship music always gives me hope and brings me out of myself. God bless!
Prayer for you. Hang in there.
Hi Cherry, praying right now for healing in your physical body, provision for every financial need and a deep and abiding peace in your heart! Love and blessings 💛
@@guestguest747 Thank you. I’m trying my best. With God’s help and special encouraging people like yourself. 🙏🏻
@@DianaKokku Thank you so much. I’m believing that God will take care of everything. I truly appreciate your prayers.
I really like Tracy Peterson books!
Faith Over Fear!
I agree with you re watching the news. I quit watching years ago. No Jesus, no peace. Know Jesus, know peace!
Preach Preacher!! You are annointed
The mandates seem to be going by the wayside in many places. I hope it lifts where you are very soon!❤God bless! ❤
Yes 20wks today with my 4th son. Thank you for this!
Tracie is one of my top two authors. My library has all of them ❤
I figure that I raised my children with my own values, traditions & desirable character traits, rather than by the popular influencers.
You will never know how much I needed this today! Thank you for all that you do! You are making a difference!
It’s strange ….my kids are 33 and 38 and people would say that back then…..
Thanks, Diana, I will be checking out those books and some in the comments as well. You must be super busy but you look relaxed and so pretty! ❤️🇨🇦
I really appreciated your reminder to seek to Kingdom of Gods above all else.
Great subject. I don't fear the future because I know who holds the future. I'm pretty sure you'll get there in your sharing, but wanted to put this down before you are even finished. Awesome quote about worry.
I love Tessa Afshar and Connilyn Cossette!
So do I! Also love Jody Hedlund, Ann H. Gabhart, and Lynn Austin.
I appreciate you so much Diane. You are such an encourageming sister in faith and an example as a godly woman. ❤
Hello Diane
If we focus on the negatives other’s faults Negativity and faults will appear.
Awesome book! Great recommendation 💛
Great . It encouraged me and refreshed my perspective to really get back to the basics. Thank you. Blessings to you and your family. Another fantastic biblical historical fiction author is Lynn Austin. Both her historical and modern fiction are superb!!
We need to trust in the future. We cannot bring kids up with worries of the world. We need to be positive . God bless❤
I needed this. I really, really needed this! Thank you, Diana!
I'm very new to your videos. I can't begin to describe how wonderful and timely this message was for me. Thank you so much! God's blessings to you!
Welcome, I’m so glad you’re here 💛
Diana, is there a UA-cam channel or a podcast such as yours that is directed toward our spouses? You are such an encouragement to this new “Nana”. We have already begun to pray that our grandson will come to know the Lord at a young age!
Thank you and, I truly love how you put everything Diana!! Happy anniversary, and God bless you!!
Happy Anniversary! 💜
God is always on time! He sends inspiration when we need it. Great timing Diana! I loved this! Thank you ❤
I'm so Grateful for you and Dawn and all you are doing!
@@thefarmista That's an awesome way to look at it. 🙂
@danymilll707 yes
I ❤ Tracy Peterson 🎉
This message is just what I needed to hear. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you for this!! I'm so touched by all that you share. I'm always looking for your new videos...they are impactful.
Reading God's word and promises. He is all good!
Thank you so much for this video. I have the crippling fear since finding out I was pregnant about this exact same thought. It causes me soo much anxiety but my husband and I continue to pray and walk in faith
Maybe your child will be a mighty evangelist for the Lord in a dark time, shining the light to those who need it!
Thank you Diana, always feel encouraged after your videos!🤗
I LOVE the Bible Recap!!! Just started it this year 😊
My former, wonderful Christian manager shared this quote with me long ago (by Todd Wagner):
"Worry is not believing God will get it right. Bitterness is believing God got it wrong."
Sometimes it is painful to read this, but it helps me keep some of my emotions in check.
Please, you never need to apologize for the language in the word of God.
Oh my gosh Diana, your title made me click over on your video instantly! I have felt this in my heart for such a long time. Please, and thank you for addressing this.
That was the exact scripture from service this morning!
Awww, sweet. God bless.
I recently ordered myself that pretty pink Bible. I love it!
Could you share what Bible that is? I love the color pink and that one seems small too. Thank you!
Love this!❤The verse to combat fear is so powerful. Thank you for sharing!!
Oooh , Diana ! No words right now ! Beautiful video. When you lead us in prayer, my friend, I truly feel bathed in the Holy Spirit ! God bless you ! And Happy Anniversary to you and Princeton !
I love your reasons for having children. I'll remember those when I get into the conversation of Why bring children into This world?
Environmental issues and the huge growth in the AI space has really concerned me for my young children’s future, my future too as an almost 30 year old. But I’m trying to shift my focus and live life to the fullest with joy, because those issues I am not able to control in the slightest on my own.
YES! Tracie Peterson is absolutely wonderful!!! She’s from my Montana and one of her first series is based in Montana. Thank you so much for recommending dear Tracie!!!
Very interesting video. Ironically, I was just recently considering reading the book "Fear is a Choice" by James Case.
It is scary now raising a child in our world today but I just remember 'Never fear God is here' Best to enjoy the little things each day ❤
❤❤❤ Thank you for bringing me some peace.
