The step sequence was insanely difficult. They were tap dancing on skates and they did it in unison and perfectly. That’s why the silly mistake at the beginning didn’t matter. That’s why they got a 10 as they should have.
Those announcers made me mad!
well, that's probably cause this is worlds, and the judging of technical skills is very nitpicky

Любую их программу можно было бы катать и сейчас , сумасшедшая скорость, филигранная техника, сложность и непередаваемые обаяние и харизма! Для меня они лучшие и любимые за всю историю! Не знаю, появятся ли лучше...
Мне также нравится пара,:Лена Бережная с Антоном(фамилию тиудно выговорить),они тоже мало чем отличаются от них по мастерсту!
@@аеслиобъективно мне тоже нравилась пара Бережная - Сихарулидзе. Нисколько не умаляю их мастерства! Чемпионами просто так никто не становится. Любимых пар много, но самая любимая пара для меня - Гордеева и Гриньков. Просто они - это прям моё - моё! Душа замирает.
I love this program and they were starting to develop their skating taking it to another level without losing any of the beauty of the classic lines that they were well-known for. I only wish Sergei had been given more time as in my opinion they were only just beginning and had so much more to give. The speed they maintain over the ice during the lifts is second to none. I haven’t seen anyone move like that ever. ❤❤
Love this program. I watch it often. Sergei amf Katia always skated so beautifully, and with perfect harmony and speed. And Sergei's strength always brought confidence to their skating. They seemed to have fun performing this program. ❤

They were one of the few pairs that you could actually see their speed. They absolutely flew.
The only team who had as much or more speed was Rodnina & Zaitsev but they had the style and artistry of a pair of elephants. Even their music and costumes were cringeworthy and painful. While most of the other elegant and stylish teams are slow. It is great to see a team that could combine that incredible speed and power, with such impeccable line and style, and technical proficiency, as well as their chemistry on the ice as a married couple.
When Sergi sleeves blow like that makes him more sexy!
I stopped watching skating just after Sergei died what a tragic end to such a talent .rest in peace sergei
Why is everyone snarking at a 10? It was a professional competition, not the Olympics, and the only mistake was a silly mistake on the spin. As no one else even came close, it hardly mattered. They were supposed to skate at the 1995 version of this competition, in December, but he was dead. All they could do was a moment of silence. Lighten up on the snarks because no one cares at this point.
I get so sad when I think of what happened to Sergei. But what an awesome team they were! RIP Sergei. 💔💔💔😢

They were is a class all their own!! no one can compete with them they were just awesome and loving on the ice the world lost a great Skater Sergei was a sensational partner and presented her so gorgeously!! may he rest in peace!! and she is moving on also it's been 24 almost 25 years since he died. my other half just died last Feb and his Ann is coming up on Feb 6th of his cancer death god I miss him and love him so very very much!! May my Richard Rest in Peace!! I will see you in heaven my one and only love of 24 years!!!

@@Jojyk_ При чём здесь опыт,она же --- Жена! Как сама и говорила : год спину лечили,но ничего не помогало...,вот тогда и надо бить во все колокола,не на лёд тащить тренироваться ,а к врачам,при чем ко всем специалистам,можно было и в России ,а не в Америки!

Скорость, синхронность, гармония и красота . Самая лучшая и красивая пара - это Катя и Сережа. Современное фигурное катание в погоне за техникой и всеми этими уровнями сложности утратило самое главное - артистическую индивидуальность, когда смотришь программу фигуристов и наслаждаешься, а не считаешь вместе с ними выполненные элементы.
На одном дыхании! Какое изящество,мастерство,музыкальноть,короче говоря,ни с чем несравнимое волшебство и нескончаемый восторг!!!!!!!! Бравоооооо!!!!!!! Заслуженные восхищения и восторг!!!!!!!

Первые две пары - это танцы на льду. Гордеева и Гриньков - парное катание.

@@AJ-ld5mv yes you’re right I hate when they talk during the program but I was saying that what they actually said about G&G was not rude, they were just doing their job as commentators and pointing out the mistake she made. Otherwise people watching skating for the first time would be confused
