Whilst it is true that all screwcap ≠ trash wine, most of the times they are. For more premium wines, I never understood why a winery would want to do it. A poor analogy is trading an old-world label for a flashing new-world one
Wine will keep longer with a screw cap. This could be both a positive and a negative. On the plus side it's easier to store and harder to let go bad by improper storage. It's not letting nearly as much air in the bottle though so the wine will develop in the bottle much much slower.

Kind of along the lines of this video, the words "reserve" and "old vine" in the majority of countries means nothing.
