thanks it just got released in India and I am going to add it in my collection. Nobody have bought it till date so no review on amazon, I highly appreciate your work.
Can 2 cameras (located in 2 different cities) fall under 1 single subscription? (I heard 1 subscription covers 4 devices? Or does it need to be 4 in a single location??).... And will the camera reboot by itself, if there is a Power Outage (like if I'm still... far away on holiday, and I can - not - reboot it, at the camera location? thanks!!
Good review. We have a Tapo C200 and it has been fairly good but looking for a camera with a slightly better resolution, especially in the dark. This Imou Ranger 2C would fit the bill, but I have an issue - we want the camera to sit on an upstairs windowsill and monitor our rear garden whilst out or away, but I have read the Imou only tilts down 5° from horizontal. Not sure that would be enough? Could be a deal breaker - the Tapo has a much better range of vertical movement. Difficult to mount it at the top of the window which would solve the problem, as we have blinds mounted there, and I guess the only opther option would be a tilted box on the windowsill, but that involves carpentry! Any other solutions or advice please?
Reading your comment, I was writing to suggest mounting it on the top of the windowsill as then the 80 degree upward tilt you get would now become an 80 degree downward tilt. But then I read the rest of the comment and saw that that isn't really an option. The only other thing I can think of would be to mount it sideways, this will probably give you a weird viewing angle, but if something you can live with (and better than the alternative), then maybe that's an option? Alternatively, if you don't need to be able to pan/tilt, you could look into something like the style of the Cue2C, which you could manually tilt to the angle that suits you.
@@RawansReviewsThanks for the reply Rawan. We have horizontal blinds which come down from the top of the window, so that's out. We also have fairly thick framed double glazed windows. We do need the tillt & pan, so may have to break out the small Bandsaw and make a riser mount for it, possibly with a small angle to increase the downward angle.
I see. Tricky! Here’s a wild thought, unorthodox but might be a better option than carpentry. Look at tripod Z Heads, something like this: amzn.to/3Pen0tU. The Imou doesn’t have a thread at the bottom to mount it to the head, but you should be able to use something like nano tape to hold it in place (that’s how I have it mounted to the ceiling). You probably could also use nano tape to mount the Z head to your windowsill, if you don’t want to drill holes there. Then you can angle it whichever way want. Just a thought! Good luck with the project ;)
Sir can you clear doubt about. If it is detect and track motion or person. After when person go out of frame then will it come back to original fixed angle. Which we originally fixed cover that area. This is the most question going on my head . Please clarify... Waiting for your reply.

Hi. No unfortunately it remains in the last position it arrived at while tracking. It does not reset to its initial position.
@@RawansReviews i purchased this product, it will come back after tracking.
What is sound coming in background while you were testing the Smart tracking ?
That’s the sound of the camera motor rotating to track motion
@@RawansReviews Thanks

Can I connect one camera to two mobile
Yes you can. You can share the camera with up to 6 different users. And you could also log in to your account from 2 different mobile phones.
Great content, any Idea where to find the user name and password for a NVR recorder?
