Can we get a updated review of the RIOT MAKO and how it is holding up to fishing out there? And do you think the Hobie outback 2020 is more stable than the Mako?
sorry to be off topic but does anyone know of a method to log back into an instagram account..? I stupidly forgot the account password. I would love any tricks you can give me
@Luka Ezekiel Thanks so much for your reply. I found the site thru google and I'm in the hacking process now. Looks like it's gonna take quite some time so I will get back to you later with my results.
Got a good set up brother, free tip for all, use used Cordial containers (spray paint safety yellow) for floats. Cheap as, low profile and you can stack more nets. Avoid round large diameter floats/buoys.
Wow. The last net was awesome. I went crabbing today in Capitola to test the area and only got 1 Dungy and ton of babies. Very promising future. Always have great video Nick. Get ready for halibut and the salmon season. Be safe and tight lines.
@@NickFish007 Oh wow! Here, ALL females have to be released. And the four we get to keep is in TOTAL between Dungeness and Red Rock. Red Rocks have to be at least 115 cm (4 1/2") and Dungeness have to be at least 165 cm (6 1/2"). Not sure why BC is so much stricter.
@@NickFish007 that's awesome! Last time I was there looked sketchy af even though forecast said 2 -3 ft. Still waiting for ripe conditions for my first trip out there
I always love how crabs continue to snack on the bait (I use fish heads) even after you've pulled them onto the boat. Might was well go out with a snack, I suppose.
That was comical... but persistence pays off no doubt! Glad to see you made it out there Nick. It's been rough lately. Getting some work done on my kayak (new equipment/rod holders/down rigger/etc)... I'll be in the water hopefully in March. Thanks for the vid!
man you had the whole place to yourself! nice limit! when you were paddling in looking over your shoulder lol ! i do the same thing on my board when im crabbing so i dont get pounded !
Congrat on your limit yesterday. Nice to see you on the water again. You did way better than me, had only half limit. Lol. Sorry to hear that you lost one of your pot. I did not see it when coming back in.
Dang I wish I could hold the crabs like you Nick! I caught a 4 inch dungy today at Half Moon Bay and I was afraid to hold it! Okay like you said, like and sub! I just did!
Nick I'm so happy 😁😁😁 for you . You hit the mother load on 🦀🦀🦀 🦀♋ crabs 😉😅🤣 . Excellent bro enjoy everyone of them 🥪☺️😜🤣 . GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR FAMILY AND GOD BLESS ALL OF YOU WHO ARE STRUGGLING AND HOMELESS BECAUSE OF COVID-19 let us pray.
Hi Holly, have you been ocean kayaking before? I try to go when I can with not much planning. We definitely need more females in the sport thats awesome thx for watching
What are you doing!! Those herring are prime Hali and salmon bait. Hurts me to see that. And bacon!! Is for breakfast. You feeding crabs too good. They will take .79 catfood. Lol

The updated version of the Riot Mako is great! I'd highly recommend it. I love their pedal drives 👍
Hobie is more stable and tough, Mako is more fun and easier to take out and use. The Mako is great for surf launching too

Where were you fishing? I have a hard time getting my kayak through the surf when I go out. Looks like it wasn't to bad when you launched.

I get very seasick on boats! 2/3 of people get seasick, not much you can do.. Try getting a good nights sleep and eat a bagel in the morning!
Dude you nailed it
Great music. A welcome break from house.
11:35 plot twist: it was a different crab of comparable size.

Nick on fire.
I fish a lot 😂 But thank you!
You guys down south are lucky. We Washingtonians only get to fish two pots or rings at a time and keep six dungies (and 6 rock crab)... Nice haul.
When’s the new 2020 crab video going up?
Is 10 your legal limit there? How exciting! (Ours is only 4, and we can only use two traps or nets/license.)
Yeah 10 crabs male or female in CA limit is 8 traps I'm pretty sure 👍

Well played Nick...Cheers Jeff
I want to try kayak crabbing maybe this year. Is it dangerous ?
Kayak fishing is a dangerous sport and crabbing involves a lot of gear. But if you pick the right days and go with friends it's safe
@@NickFish007 yeah i kind of figured. I would've went alone too so as a first timer i dont think that's a good idea. I appreciate the answer👍
Does rock fish season open soon??
I heard it's April 1st 😎 Can't wait!

Hi [USERNAME], we love your content. Keep up the great work! 💪🏼
Great vid Nick, I love your videos. How long do you leave those type of traps out?
The hoop nets you can pull pretty often. I pull them every 30 min - 1.5 hr because they can get out. Hope that helps
I am liking it already. Don’t have to catch the 7inch to get a like from me. 👍😜
haha thanks Joe!
damn good stuff man! getting them jumbos back on a 2nd attempt!
Haha thanks!
That time of the year Nick 😀, rewatching your video to get more tips from the pro 😋. I just noticed you don’t weight down your hoop nets !
They're on the bottom or fell off. Thanks Carlos
