Exploring the Pacific coast highway from San Francisco with my British Dad

- My British Dad has always wanted to visit the West coast of the USA. Last week we explored San Francisco and this week, we drive from San Francisco down the Pacific Coast Highway via Four Mile beach, Santa Cruz and then Monterey. We then head inland to Yosemite National Park.

You're in our neighborhood! Welcome! We live in the flat part that you drove through, but your trip is one of the reasons we love it here so much. So much beauty and adventure is just a car ride away. (we are about a 2 hour drive from Yosemite Valley)
I love the videos with your parents. They seem like great people. What the hell happened to you? (JUST KIDDING!!) Please keep making memories with them and sharing with us. Take good care of them, You're lucky to have them and they are lucky to have you and Natalie in their lives.

The Pacific Coast Highway has some pretty spectacular sights to see along it. Nice you got to drive some of it. You got lucky with the rolling along and your dad walking beside the open door. When I do that with my wife, I always get hit and yelled at. Thanks for the video! Looking forward to your Yosemite vid.

SO much fun seeing you in our home base of Monterey and heading to our favorite National Park. When you said 17 out of 10 and you were just at the scissor bridge...we know that number went WAY up once you actually got to the Valley! Can't wait to see how much you love one of our favorite places in the world next week. (PS...you went to our favorite restaurant on the Municipal Pier and sat at the table we were just at a few weeks ago! LOL! Good choice!)
I saw a reel this week where a guy from the UK was discussing how people in Europe consider Americans to not be well traveled. He was visiting the US and realized how vast and varied it is and that with normal vacations most people still won't see it all. Glad you are getting to experience some of it with your Dad.

Isn't San Francisco like really dangerous these days?
I thought the same and was a little worried about it. Although we didn't venture out after dark, during the day, we saw absolutely zero signs of anything bad (Except the motorcycle hooligans). In fact, it was a really really nice place everywhere we went.
@@BrazenBrits ok cool thanks for letting me know, next year me and my friend are doing a 4 week US road trip and we are unsure if San Francisco is a place we should visit as we've heard alot of bad things recently.
